Folders in Drive not loading data

I have a 2006 Mac Pro running 10.7 that I use as a Media Server.
Latley when I go to access data from a fairly large folder(several hundred giga bytes) it does not load or takes a very long time to load.
I transfered all data to another drive and the same thing occurs.
Is their a file size limit for each folder? Doing reasearch online I foudn that there is a theoretical limit but it is very large.
Does anyone have any insight?

Is that drive full or 60% free? a good solid 7.2k drive of say 2TB from WD Black series or another enterprise drive?
What and where is your boot drive? The best upgrade I made to my 1,1 was the 3rd and newest Samsung SSD. now $160 for 250GB makes Lion (or SL) run like the wind, loading apps, booting, managing, and all the data is and should always, no matter what, not be on t he boot drive. Assume it isn't anyway in your case either.

the NFSv4 domain name is not necessarily related to the host name or the host's fully-qualified domain name (FQDN). It can be the same like the domain name, but it does not have to.
To find the corrent NFSv4 domain name, you have to look it up in the NFSv4 server's configuration files.

Hi Patrick ,
What user did you use to start JSPM? Was it <sid>adm? Also based on the error it seems there is something wrong with DataModel.xml JSPM uses. And you've mentioned it was copied from another system if I get it right.
So as a quick workaround you could try removing:
- Jspm.DataModel.xml
- Jspm.J2EE.DataModel.xml
- Jspm.JSPM.DataModel.xml
from ../j2ee/JSPM/data/variables directory and give JSPM another try.
Please make sure the rest of the XMLs are in place otherwise JSPM won't start.

I can't seem to find any other posts about this problem.
I have three external hard rives connect by a USB hub to my iMac.
Problem is that if I turn on the hard drive(s) AFTER start up I get a message that the drive either was not recognized by the OS or that it was ejected unexpectedly.
I get the same issue but not all the time if I turn them on before I boot the iMac.
I used the disk drive utility to "repair" the drives but they always come back as "probably ok".
If I restart the iMac with the drives connected (on), it seems to work but not all the time.
A bit annoying as I am wondering if the drives are OK or not.
I don't always need the drives as they are for backing up images from my camera using Apreture.
This all began after i did the latest security update.
is the update to blame?

Yes, you can still use those instructions to reset the PRAM.
You said that you booted to your install disk and that your primary drive did not show up at the Select a Destination screen? That usually means that the computer is either not recognizing your partition, or it's not recognizing the hard drive itself.
Start with this article and follow all the steps even if you already tried them. I suspect that you'll get to step 4 and you'll end up having to call Applecare. If you haven't done those steps, they're most likely going to make you do them anyway, so you might as well get them done before the call.

Device detected driver not loading correctly per windows

Device detected but driver not loading correctly. Windows says to reload driver. I have reloaded driver and the Nidaq software package (ver 6.9.3) repeatedly to no avail.
Upgrading from old machine that had a 1997 version of driver that work fine under this OS (win98SE).
What could be the problem?

It's possible the copy of the NI-DAQ driver you have is corrupt, you may want to download it again. It's available from the Drivers and Updates page. Also, if you did not already do so, remove the DAQ card before uninstalling the driver and then reinstall it before reinserting the DAQ device.
What DAQ device are you using? Depending on what DAQ device you have, you may want to upgrade the driver, the most recent version of the NI-DAQ driver for Windows 98 is 7.1. You can see what driver is best for your device from the DAQ Acquisition Installer/Configuration Troubleshooter and then download the driver from the Drivers and Updates page.

OutlineLoad utility not loading data

Hello,
I am loading data into Workforce Planning 11.1.2.1 with OutlineLoad utility (In "Administration>Data Load Settings" Data Load Dimension is "Employee", Driver Dimension is "Account" with loaded account members listed).
I load accounts of "Date" data type which are in "yyyymmdd" format in my CSV file - so these accounts are not loaded.
I will be very grateful for any hints on how to resolve my issues!

I am not sure which patch version you are running but from 11.1.2.1.102 there was an additional parameter available for when loading date type members.
"The date format setting for accounts of type “Date” was not always respected in the Outline Load Utility. This patch resolves this issue. It also enables youto override the date format defined in the ‘Attribute Date Format’ setting in the ‘Application Settings’ dialog using the new “/DF” parameters:
· /DF:MM-DD-YYY
The date data type values on a data load are assumed to be month-day-year. For example, 12-23-2011
· /DF:DD-MM-YYYY
The date data type values on a data load are assumed to be day-month-year. For example, 23-12-2011
· /DF:YYYY-MM-DD
The date data type values on a data load are assumed to be year-month-day. For example, 2011-12-23

Sd card module/driver not loaded anymore

Hi,
since a recent update (linux 3.16 maybe ? ) the sd card module is not loaded anymore.
I have to load it manually :
modprobe -v rtsx_usb
(or add a module load in /etc/modules-load.d/)
My guess is that the "block" hook is not finding it anymore...
Any idea why ?

Report does not load data initially

I have a standard report, with radio buttons and select dropdown to specify some query conditions. I have more than one pages with similar structure.
A strange thing happening is:
One of page does not initialy load data. It seems the query was not being executed when the page start up.
I have checked the default values of those radio buttons and select drop downs, there are all set when the page is loading up. I have page computation to set them up. The report always return "No Data" when first time login. But as soon as the page is submitted ( without make any change) , the report is perfectly shown up.
Anybody has any idea? Thanks.

Very strange.
Did you connect as the same user as SQL*Loader when you checked the table?
Is it possible that someone else deleted the data?

Hard drive not loading, done AP test

I Have an iPod Classic 80GB, purchased in 2007. all I'm getting on the screen is a circle with a cross in it. Have done the AP tests and the hard drive is not loading.

PDF printer driver not loading

Ok...first off I had CS on another laptop and the driver was there. Got new laptop loaded CS and PDF printer didn't load up. Second. I got and loaded CS3 (not just because of the lost printer driver, but...) and loaded it onto the same *new* laptop and STILL not PDF printer driver. I've looked at the downloads and can't find it available there. This is driving me nuts. I develop proposals and other documents in word (not to mention the PIA factor of not being able to print directly to PDF in AI or PS) and have to dump files to a shared directory so that I can use Acrobat Pro 6 on a desktop before sending out to clients. Arrrrrgghhh (and yes, I know that Talk Like a Pirate Day isn't until Sept 19th.)
I have tried reinstalling or 'fixing' ABPro umpteen times now and find myself fulfilling Einstein's definition of insansity. Any ideas on what I can do to get a *&^%# PDF printer driver to load?

I´m using AutoVue 3D Professional Advanced 20.2.0.... I´ve read that there were problems
in the version 19.xx (before version 20.xx)
