Folders in gallery?
suggestion:
1.when in the gallery
to create a new folder in my file manager is no problem
but the process of copying and paste all pictures or videos whatever the case
is mission it would be much useful if you could select n move pictures straight from the gallery
2.once the photos have been copied even if the photos are a week old they all appear right at the top of the gallery which is most frustrating, the photos should stay as is even if they were moved
please fix
3. also please the Sony z1 gives the option of seeing your folders and all photos but only once you in the gallery
but it should give you the option of having a permanent view of folders.

Out latest version of Album supports folders. You can update it using Update Cenre or from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonyericsson.album
Regarding sorting, are these pictures taken with the phones camera? Sounds like you have some pictures with no time and date in the EXIF-tag. In that case they'll be sorted by date and time of the file instead. That may be changed if you move or edit the file.

How do I organize picture folders in gallery of Galaxy S3
In the files I have my pictures in each folder is in alphabetical order, yet in the gallery there is no order to how they're displayed.
I tried to change names of each fiolder in the picture files they are in but that didn't change anything in the gallery.
Any idea how to do this?I use QuickPic from the Play Store it always works better for me.. I love the editing options in the software as well over the stock gallery.. Check it out.

I am attempting to delete a Gallery Folder. The folder is a one of the pre-defined examples from SAP. I have deleted all the development objects under the folder, but I still get this message when I try to delete the folder itself.
"Failed during deletion of the folder because of existing development objects under it. Delete these objects first."

We had the same problem before, like we did not release the objects after transport and tried to delete folders/objects.
It was kind of messed up, so we created a message with SAP and they have provided us with a sql script which deletes all the folders under gallery. Let me know if you need that script.

I am having a problem where the Gallery application on my new N73 is showing _all_ the images on my phone, regardless of their name or format.
For example I have 5 images belonging to an application installed on the memory card that are named either *.off or *.dat in the folder, but both Gallery and File Manger can open and view the files.
Is there any way to tell Gallery to only look for images in certain folders, or hide folders from Gallery's eyes?
I'm not so concerned about File Manager as its fairly nice to be able to see files if I go looking for them, but having the Gallery cluttered up is a pain.
DanNope Sadly not - by default all images are shown in the gallery and there's no way of changing that... unless you install some 3rd party programs...
I use one called Smart Guard Pro - google for it. There's a trial version, but could be a bit too much for what you need - it requires a password to access the hidden images.
It also lets you hide Texts & contacts etc.

Hi... Recently i formated my N91 Hdd using windows format...
Everything was fine till I discovered something really strange...
I could move everything on the Nokia N91 Hdd.. I started re building my folders...
for example i put all my folders of images i had in my computer in E:\Images directory of the phone... same with videos but in the video section of HDD in n91...
When i finished, i went into my multimedia center in my n91 and i could see each and everyfile but without the folders... The strange thing is that the folders existed but i couldnt see them in n91 multimedia center..
I know that the folders were there cause i checked in Tools\File Management and i saw the directories i had pasted on my HDD with the appropriate files within...
So the files were in a terrible mess in the multimedia center without any folders sorting them...
When i tried to create folders through my multimeda center in nokia n91 i sorted every file to the folder i wanted but still when i connected the phone with mass storage i couldnt see the folders i created within Nokia but the ones i had pasted in the past directly from my computer...
Such a mess... Is there any solution to my problem?
Im sure others have the same problem too...Yes.. u deifnately can make folders in Gallery. (You would atleast have to choose Images, Video.. etc... u cant make it in Gallery root folder)
Select the pictures (for e.g) select options.. and see where it says "Organise" when u come to that option you have another option "new folder"

How to Disable Nokia Suite v. 3.4.49 from Lurking ...

I have, just an hour back, installed Nokia Suite 3.4.49. which installed fortunately successfully.
And i have connected my phone (NOKIA E90) and it got connected successfully and synced all data.
The PROBLEM now is the Nokia Suite's Gallery tab is showing all the pictures of my "pictures" library!! Though i havent added any such folders into "Gallery Options".
I dont want Nokia Suite showing my pictures into Nokia Suite Gallery! Its so stupid that it doesnt have any option to disable like picasa!
If anybody can please help me to block or disallow nokia suite peeping into my pictures, i would be so grateful! Thank you!

Nothing is working my friends! First of all my "watch Folders" window is blank so no folders are there to watch yet this app peeps into my personal folders!
So i added a folder where i save and sync my nokia pic & vids, which is NOT EVEN ON DEFAULT C DRIVE!!!
Now i dont understand how shld i make this app remove my folders?!

Numbers in web gallery and resource image folders do not match
When I create a web gallery in Bridge, the numbers in the resource image folders, (Large, medium, thumbnail) do not match the name and numbers in the gallery and are completely out of order. The numbers are long and random. My client is trying to email the small files and cannot locate them easily.
I have never had this problem before....can you help?

Some photo folders in my Windows Photo Gallery are listed in iTunes when I sync my iPhone 3GS but the folders are empty. The same photo folders in Windows Photo Gallery are full of photos. How do I fix this?
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

did you create the other Mobile Me galleries in iPhoto? If I remember correctly. you can manage each web album only in one application, either Aperture or iPhoto. I cannot test it any longer, since I upgraded to iCloud, but it used to be possible to assign the application (iPhoto or Aperture) for each album when you log into Mobile Me and select the album.

is it possible to add folders within galleries in any nokia symbian phone? i used to have a 6233 which was much better, i could go into my gallery and add as many folders within it as i liked, very handy to organise different photos..etc

What version of Android phone are you using?
Do you have a built-in file explorer or any third party File explorer installed on your phone?
If no, then i would recommend you to install a File explorer on your phone and then you would be able to browse files from within the Acrobat DC app on your Android phone.

Can I transfer albums/folders from one iPhone gallery to another another (different macs)
I have two MacBook's running Lion. I need to give one back to work, so I want to move all the albums and folders I set up in my iPhoto on my work MacBook to my personal MacBook. I also have a few thousand photos organized into albums/folders on my personal MacBook. Is there some way to easily merge these without destroying my albums and organization? I've tried once, and it was a disaster....all my albums disappeared and all the photos were just thrown into a general Photos folder.

AndreaYes. iPhoto Library Manager can copy albums and/or events between libraries while keeping keywords, titles and other metadata intact.
