Folders in my Verizon Webmail

I just got switched (or "upgraded") onto new Verizon webmail platform and can not find where my folders are listed to access the stored emails inside them.  The folders still exist, as I can file new messages into them from the main email menu, but I have no idea how to access them - they aren't listed anywhere.  None of the display settings seem to address that.  Help!

Do you have a little arrow next to where it says trash on the left side of the screen. Clicking on it should open the side bar where the folders are located.

Unable to load null status:404 when replying in Verizon webmail. Error appears in its own window. It seems to be related to MIME-encoded incoming messages. I can open a new message window and copy/paste the reply-message into the new message and then send it without the error. Trying to save-as-draft also gives the same error message. This is recent after update to V.31 of Firefox on Win7(Sp1).

    Hey guys,
It looks like that the issue has been resolved on the site, can you please try to send and email and confirm this change. There was a bug filed and fixed this week in version 32?
You make have to clear the cache for the site to see the changes. Thank you!

  • Anyone else having trouble with Verizon Webmail?

Yesterday morning I found that I could not log into Verizon Webmail using Safari. I called Verizon FIOS Tech Support and they said there was  a system-wide e-mail problem which would take 4-10 hours to fix. I noted that I was able to access Webmail using Firefox, for which he had no answer.
Nevertheless, I deleted all verizon.net cookies and rebooted but still have the same problem today (and Webmail worked on Firefox last night).
Does anyone else have this problem?

YES!!  I've been having problems constantly for the past two days accessing my Verizon e-mail via the web browser interface.  I'm on a Windows PC running XP SP3.
I contacted the on-line chat support from my FIOS account page, and the brilliant support person told me that they don't have the knowledge to handle FIOS related issues and offered to give me the phone number for FIOS support - HUH??   I used the link from the FIOS Support page, and they don't handle FIOS questions?  How **bleep** is that?
The larger issue to me is, what does trying to access the Verizon webmail application have to do with FIOS?  I'm not at home trying to use my FIOS connection - I'm at work on the open internet - for all Verizon cares, I could be at an internet cafe, an airport PC kiosk, or anywhere in the world trying to get to my Verizon e-mail via the web - what does FIOS have to do with that?
AAARGGHHHH - sometimes, customer support drives me batty !!!

  • NEED HELP RE:VERIZON WEBMAIL ISP FILTERS; I HAVE VERIZON FIOS

I hope someone can reach out and help me.  Recently I have not been receiving my QVC Today's Special Emails on a Daily Basis; since approximately the beginning of September.  I have Verizon Webmail.
I never had a problem receiving these daily emails before.
Did Verizon change something within in the Server, etc.?
I contacted QVC they said to contact my Internet Service Provider. They have everything correct on their end.
They send them out a few minutes after midnight on a daily basis. They said if My ISP service/server is busy or maxed out this could be a reason why I haven't been receiving them.
I have the correct Contact Email in the my contacts.
How Do I adjust the Internet Service Provider Filters?
Or does anyone have another way so I can fix this problem.
P.S.. I check my spam and it is not in there either.
    Many Thanks.

Yeah, that happens all too often with Verizon email.  You get email reguarly from a legitimate source.  One day the email just stops.  The sender does NOT get any failed mail messages and from the POV of the sender they sent email succesfully to you.  The email is lost in the Verizon Ether.
Go to the Verizon email account holder WhiteList form and complete it.
    http://my.verizon.com/micro/whitelist/RequestForm.aspx?id=member
Send the below URL to QVC and have QVC fill out the ISP WhiteList form
    http://my.verizon.com/micro/whitelist/RequestForm.aspx?id=isp
    Good luck !

  • Verizon webmail issues: "send" button not present (though present in Safari)

I had Firefox 5.0.1 and have upgraded to 9.0.1. Am running Firefox on a Mac (OS 10.6.6). The issue described occurred in both versions, but only AFTER Verizon's recent interface "upgrade."
When creating an outgoing message in Verizon webmail, there (should be) 3 (clickable) buttons above the "from" field:
    "Send"
    "Save draft"
    "Cancel"
These are not there/viewable, but ARE visible when I log onto Verizon webmail with Safari.
    Could adblock be interfering?
(Disabled adblock/restarted and buttons still not present)

    Try ccmsetup.exe on APPL_TOP/FND/bin directory.

  • Verizon Webmail Security Warning Popup

Just recenly when I signed out from the Verizon webmail page I recieved the following popup:
After googling to find out some information about this annoying popup, I got some informaion about how to stop this popup, but I had to go to Internet Options and change a setting. The popup has stopped, but I'm wondering why it suddenly just started as I hadn't changed any setting until I got the popup and researched how to stop it. Out of curiosity has any one else received this popup? I got this popup a few times in the past but it was with other websites and only occurred a very few times. I know it is related to Internet Explorer 8 and also has happened with other IE versions.
     Holly

I'm sure that is true but I was wondering why this just started happening as we have had the new sign in page for somet time and the Verizon webmail page has been used even longer. I think I will alert them by sending this information to Feedback. Also I will change my setting back to Prompt for safey  reasons and sign out from my email by just clicking on the X in the right hand corner as the mail times out anyway as the popup bugs me.

  • Compose Message problem using Verizon webmail

On my Windows 7 machine, using either Chrome or Explorer to access the Verizon webmail page,  I unable to compose a message.   The compose message window will not open after clicking GO.   Yet when I use my Vista machine there is no problem.    Any suggestions?

Might be prevented by a popup blocker.

  • Inconsistent or No access to Verizon Webmail

Over the last week or so, we have been unable to access the Verizon Webmail site at all or with serious inconsistency. This does not seem to matter what broswer or version we choose to use.
    Site:  webmail.verizon.net or webmail.verizon.com
Browser options:  Chrome(latest update/version), Firefox multiple versions from 5 to 10, Internet Explorer versions 8 and 9.
Most of the time you get the sign in page, but once you have entered your credentials, the resulting navigation and hand off times out.  If you get to the actual page with your email shown, if you manipulate your email in any fashion, the page gives random errors or completely time out as well.
Please investigate the issue and respond.
    Sincerely,
    Merle Family

  • My firefox will not open or save attachments. I use Verizon webmail as my email. Is there a storage place that Firefox uses for attachments that I must clean out to enable this feature again? ideas?

    Using Firefox 11.0, Verizon Webmail.

    Hi,
Please try a '''Ctrl''' + '''F5''' refresh. This helps to bring in the page afresh. If the problem persists, please try a [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles new profile]. If it's okay, you can later [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Recovering%20important%20data%20from%20an%20old%20profile?s=profile&r=1&e=sph&as=s copy the needed personal data] from the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in another location separate from its [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory files/folder]. A new profile would have the default Firefox settings ('''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Options%20window '''Options'''], and [http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config about:config] ), and usually would also be empty of any '''Extensions''' and themes ('''Appearance''') in Tools > Add-ons) and their settings. • Verizon WebMail Email Messages Disappearing

I use the MyVerizon 2.0 webmail application to view my email messages remotely.  I have reported that a few weeks ago my email messages have been disappearing from my inbox.  Today, the messages disappeared again from my inbox.  My email client at home is Windows Live Mail.  I have in the options to leave a copy on the server checked so that the messages do not get wiped out.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any solution out there?  I suspect a problem with the Verizon Webmail application since this did not happen before it was updated.  Thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

It appears that after changing my password, that the emails have remained on the server and are viewable using webmail so far.  I now suspect that some POP3 client was downloading them somehow.  That is the only conclusion I can come to at this point.

  • Remove Default From Address from Verizon Webmail?

My Verizon Webmail account (and sub-accounts) have been receiving emails from unauthorized Senders (@verizon.net), and it appears that this address is appearing below my address within the drop-down in Verizon Webmail > Mail Setup > Generic E-mail Setup > Default From Address:
Where did this bogus address come from, and how do I get rid of it??
    Thanks!

If it starts with "vze" or "res" then that is your Verizon user id. There is no way to remove this from your account.
If it isn't a user id, check to see if it's an alias. Look in the Email Settings portion of your My Account page. If it's an alias, you should be able to delete it from there.
If it isn't a user id and it isn't an alias, contact tech support. Anything that is on your account that shouldn't be needs to be investigated by Verizon.
    ***Regardless of what it is:***
Change your password and secret answer to something complex and hard to guess, and run a virus scan on every computer you access the account from. If someone other than you is sending mail from an address on your account, you need to re-secure it ASAP.

  • Email Alias and Verizon Webmail

My wife has recently started a new job/business for which the owners have set her up with a non-Verizon email alias which is directed to her personal verizon email address.  We are attempting to set it up in Verizon Webmail, so that when she replies to an email from that non-Verizon email alias, that it shows that alias in the "Reply From" for the sake of professionalism.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

It can be done on the Email page on E mail settings.

  • Verizon Webmail does not login

    Verizon Webmail does not login
It keeps redirecting to an error page like:
Our records indicate that the User ID you entered is not available. Please check the User ID and try again.
If you continue to experience problems, please contact us.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

That would be Verizon 2.0 (if you look at the URL, you should see that it's verizon.com, not verizon.net) which seems a bit... broken, at the moment.
The advice that I've been given that seems to work is to ignore error, and click on the "My Verizon Services" button at the top, then there should be an inbox button.
    Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

  • Verizon Webmail Long Non-text windows do not have vertical scrollbar

When I get a non-text message in Verizon Webmail that requires me to scroll down to see it all, there is no vertical scrollbar. When I display this same message in IE9, the scrollbar appears. I think this is another problem in V30/V31 as I did not see this problem before upgrading.

As a test to see whether a Reset might help, you could try this (takes about 3 minutes):
    '''Create a new Firefox profile'''
A new profile will have your system-installed plugins (e.g., Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions, or other customizations. It also should have completely fresh settings databases and a fresh cache folder.
Exit Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager using Start > search box (or Run):
    firefox.exe -P
    ''Do not delete anything here.''
Any time you want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog.
Click the Create Profile button, choose a name like Aug7, and skip the option to change the folder location. Then start Firefox in the new profile you created.
Does Verizon mail work differently in the new profile?
When returning to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the Delete Profile button. But... it's a bit too easy to accidentally delete your "real" profile, so I recommend resisting the temptation. If you do want to clean up later, I suggest making a backup of all your profiles first in case something were to go wrong.
