Folders show no media to be displayed

I am new to photoshop elements 12. I imported all my photos and was using editor when i went back into the organiser the photos wouldn't show only videos were showing. All folders are listed under my folders but when I click on them they say 'no media to be displayed' They don't seem to be in local albums Also I tried to re- import them and they wouldn't as they said they were already imported. I am using a Mac (also new so not up to speed with that yet!) photos are still there when I open them on the desktop rather than photoshop.

PSE13: Error message: No media to be displayed

I have uploaded several of my folders to PSE13 Organizer as albums. However, I am having a problem in that when I click on almost all of them I get a message No Media to be displayed. When I go to Folders in Organizer and click on the relevant ones the images appear. Why is this?
Any advice will be hugely appreciated

Can I create separate folders to save media on my Airport Time Capsule? Issue is I have a 256GB HDD Mac Pro Retina which is almost full. TC will only take backup of my HDD. So where would I save my photos and videos from my iPhone and iPad?

It is a hard one.. laptops with small drives are a pain.
What you need is a home media server.
Some people use a PC running itunes for cost.. but that is nothing like as good as using a Mac mini.. they make great little HTPC device.. you can plug in large hard disks and store all your files and media. And share it with the network.. Read up apple's instructions on home sharing.

For cost you can buy a mini from 2011 or 2012.. I would not recommend earlier ones.. the advantage of 2012 is they have USB3 ports. But you will pay more for them.. new mini is not as useful.. they have soldered in memory and you cannot upgrade.. the old mini was the most easily modified mac in the whole range. Uses little power and can be bought for a $300US for a good one second hand.. maybe less.

13" (2010) MacBook Pro Display settings are showing a second "built-in" display that doesn't exist

I have a 13" mid-2010 MacBook Pro, running OS X 10.10.2
I also have an LG 23MP75 monitor attached, at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (60Hz) using the display port to a VGA adapter. This is my standard configuration for in the office.
When I attached my laptop this morning, and logged in to my user id, my monitor wasn't in it's normal "location" -- that is, I couldn't drag the cursor to the left off my laptop desktop and onto the second monitor. I opened up my System settings and discovered the most unusual monitor configuration I've seen...
What makes it unusual is that I don't have a third monitor attached.
The left-most screen is my laptop, the right-most screen is my external display, and the centre "screen" shows as a "Built-in Display" at 1536 x 2048 resolution.
I have unplugged and re-plugged the display adapter; I have detected displays (with and without the external monitor attached). I haven't yet rebooted (as I wanted to get screen shots in case the problem "goes away.") and the centre display persists.
I can rearrange the displays, and put the external back to where I normally have it, but that ghost display still sits there.
I have had minor problems in the past, when I switch from my external monitor to a projector and then come back to my monitor - the MacBook doesn't always remember the screen resolution and I've had to Detect Displays, and sometimes reset the resolution manually. But it's a minor issue; given that I'm swapping external devices in and out while my computer is asleep, it doesn't surprise me.
I have used iScreen in the past to extend my desktop onto my iPad, but the iScreen preference is currently turned off AND I'm not using my iPad, nor is it currently on the same wifi network as my laptop (on a hunch, I turned off my wifi, but the ghost display persisted).
Two questions:
1) Where did this "ghost display" come from?
2) More importantly, how do I get rid of it?

I had this issue posted in September and didn't get back to it 'till today so I found it archived. I don't think I got any answers the first time around. When a post is archived, are replies archived also?
Here's the problem:
Spotlight works for me the way it’s designed to work. It finds what I’m looking for if the item is in the computer.
But what are showing up in most of my searches, are long columns of files, all with the same names, sometimes as many as forty or fifty identical items. These files have the same dates and sizes. Some are located in different folders, including Trash, but most are complete duplicates
I do occasionally save as the same document in different places, or make a duplicate/copy to put in more than one location. But I have never created more than a few duplicates. In Spolight, there are hundreds
Any suggestions?

oh and if you use a creative cloud version of Lightroom it could also be that the logon to the cloud is messed up. Logging out and logging back in from preferences in the creative cloud app will fix that. Due to the release of Lightroom CC it appears that adobe's servers have been overwhelmed a bit And many people have strange problems that are solved by logging out and back in.

I have an online business and when I go to my websites they come up blank. I went to the same site on my other pc and it loads just fine. When I checked the page info and compared the two the one that loads ok shows general, media, permissions and security and the other shows everything but media. How can I get this back? Click on the App Store icon. If it takes you to Apple's App Store, then it's a real iPhone.

No folders showing in Mail?

Hi guys,
The title pretty much sums this post up – I'm using Mail on my laptop and it syncs (and works) on my iPhone 3GS. Problem is the folders I have set up don't show. I've just set up my work email on it and that also works with folders showing and that is a Kerio mail server set up through Exchange!
Any thoughts?

I may have misunderstood what the original poster was trying to achieve but...
As I said, I have several folders (mailboxes) set up in Mail for keeping things organised and all of these sync with both mobile me and my iPhone.
When you create a new mailbox you're given the option of it being on the mobile me 'cloud' or on your Mac.
Mailboxes on the Mac will not sync with mobile me but, obviously, those on the cloud will and appear on both the mobile me web site and the iPhone.
If you have mailboxes on your Mac that you want to sync with other devices just create a new one on the 'cloud', move the contents of your Mac folder into the new one and use the new one in future.
I think that's what the original post was trying to accomplish.
Forgive me if I'm incorrect.

Perhaps Aperture is not supported by iWeb.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the email account and restarted the device. I can send mail fine as well as view my sent messages. Very confusing.

I have two yahoo accounts and I know as they 'improved' their servers I had periodic outages. It'd work fine on my webmail on my computer, webmail on the iPad, but not via the mail app. And it was stuff on their end. It may be a case of wait and see and you may need to eventually remove/readd the account on your iPhone.
When the issue is on their end, unfortunately there's not much for users to do beyond wait it out or find work arounds.

Social Media Modules not Displaying

I am in the process of developing my blog and have placed the default social media modules into the blog. However, they do not display. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

I have followed the addd social media help to the letter, and mine does not display either.

Jenny I see you got yours to display, but I notice you seem to have a different URL than what the facebook plugin would provide. Is this because you also could not get the module to work, and just manually put in the FB code?
If not then how did you get yours to work.

Media live - VFD display not working

Hi, hopefully some body will be able to help me...
I recently purchased an MSI media live from ebay, and having built it I can't get the vfd display to show anything.
From my understanding the buttons below the display, the display itself, the bluetooth, wifi and IR receiver all get plugged into one USB header and are joined together. I've tested everything and they all work except for the display. I'm trying to work out if this means that the display itself is broken or if I've missed something like I've got it connected to wrong place for example.
Before building the system the JFP1 and JFP2 on the motherboard weren't connected (it took a while for me to work out why the power button wasn't working), and I still haven't worked out if something is meant to go onto JFP2. The cable which is attached to the VFD was originally in JUSB1 but last night I moved it to JUSB2 and all the buttons, wireless etc works but still nothing displays, which is the same as it was when attached to JUSB1.
If this just sounds like the actual display is broken, is it possible to buy another VFD and replace it? If so could anyone give me a link please?

What I found is that once the VFD driver is installed, it may take a short while before anything appears on it. Try opening Windows Media Center, it should display 'Media Center' on the display.
If you still get no display, I guess its broken. You could try contacting MSI and see if they will send you a new one.

After an update sept 2013 camera not showing picture ipad 4 retina display

I updated as requested last night 23rd September 2013 IOS7 on my IPAD4 Retina display. The camera does not show a picture and appears to be locked . Very annoying as I don't want to do a factory reset. Can anyone help a senior citizen please without being too technical. Thanks in anticipation

How can I customise Thunderbird message columns to show sender raw address (not display name) and the "Received for" email address that was used to reach me?

I find it increasingly important to be able to see a sender's actual email address rather than just display name, as they usually don't show a company name - which a domain always would. Is there a way to customise settings/write a script/tweak files to add raw email & domain name columns? When dealing with a number of people at the same company it is hard to order or glance through a list of emails to find them. I also know 2 people with the same name at different companies and it is impossible to distinguish!
Secondly, as a related column addition, since a number of email aliases reach me it would be useful to have a column to show the "Received..for" part of the message source which reveals the actual email used in the To/CC/BCC which led to me. Again can this be tweaked or scripted?
I have programming experience but have not made add-ons and would be open to a suggestion which involves creating a custom add-on if adding columns with custom values is possible that way.

Extended message headers can be searched from Edit/Find/Search Messages, or the folder context menu, by adding custom headers to the search criteria. So, you might be able to create a search on specific properties of a message.
The method of adding custom headers to searches is the same as the one described here for filters:
