Folders.zip

I have installed 10gr3 content server and have installed Stellent desktop integration suite to extend the funtionality to applications such as explorer,Outlook etc. Core webdav is installed. I believe folder has to be installed (folders.zip). I was not able to find this component in any of the installation files.
Thanks in advance

I think Folders is in the same zip as CS, under packages\allplatform.

  • Can't create  the Virtual Folders

    Hai All,
I have tried to create a virtual folders, It's Not working in my client system.
First i installed that folders.zip component in my Oracle 11g Universal Content Server and then i added a new network place in my client system to access the Oracle content server via (My Network places--->Add network places) successfully. After this i added a folder via UCM (Universal Content Server) successfully. But i can't able to create a folder via that network place of Oracle content server it will raise an error like Unable to create folder Access is denied.
Could anyone please tell me the solution to this
    Thanks in advance.

    Check these steps :
    1. Download the following three folders (zip files) needed for Webutil configuration from the Internet to any Windows machine:
    Webutil_demo.zip: URL: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/webutil.htm

  • Automator (Newbie Question)

    Hi,
I'm new to automator and got a free Compare Folders action from the excellent
    http://www.completedigitalphotography.com/index.php?cat=10
    website.
I have tried dragging it in to the automator window and saving it as a finder plugin.
I imagined that when I multi-select two folders on my desktop, right click and choose the action from the drop down it should run and tell me which are different or similar or something.
Instead it just runs and then nothing happens, no alerts, no errors.
Here's a link to the Action, which seems pretty useful...
    http://www.completedigitalphotography.com/Features/OtherAutomatorActions/Compare Folders.zip
I'm sure it's that I'm not using automator correctly.
Does anyone have a similar automator action? if so, how does one deploy it?
    Thanks,
    Tom B
PS- If anyone knows how to delete an unwanted Finder plugin (like the ones I've created so far) that would be great too!

    Hi Tom,
If you have selected in "Compare Folders" the option that returns files in either folder, a simple (but not ideal) solution is to put a "Run AppleScript" action next in your workflow, and paste the following in:
    on run {input, parameters}
if the (count of the input) is greater than 0 then
    tell application "Finder"
    open the selection
    select input
    end tell
    end if
    return input
    end run
This is not ideal because it opens both folders, and if the "Compare Folders" action returns items it found while recursing through sub-folders/bundles, then those open up in new Finder windows and the differing folder/bundle isn't highlighted. If the "Compare Folders" action returned the folders/bundles that were different, as well as their contents, then I think this could be pretty easily modified to take that into account.
If you are using one of the options that only returns from one folder or the other, you could try this in your "Run AppleScript" action instead:
    on run {input, parameters}
    tell application "Finder"
    set theSelection to the selection
set folder1 to item 1 of theSelection as alias
set folder2 to item 2 of theSelection as alias
    set theSelection to (folder1 & folder2)
    set theFolder to ""
repeat with i from 1 to the count of the input
set theFile to item i of the input
if theSelection contains ((the container of theFile) as alias) then
set theFolder to ((the container of theFile) as alias)
    exit repeat
    end if
    end repeat
if theFolder is not equal to "" then
    open theFolder
    else
    open theSelection
    end if
    select the input
    end tell
    return input
    end run
This works best if the folders you are comparing are flat, meaning not a lot of sub-folders or bundles inside. Perhaps you could write to the author of the action and suggest that he also return the folder/bundle that differs, along with the contents?
In any case, hopefully this gives you an idea of what you might be able to do. Hope it helps!

  • 990FXA-GD80 BIOS update failure POST F2 + 26, 36, 19, F9

Hoping to get some help here I've seen some great people that I am hoping will know any other tricks to help possibly save my motherboard. It's my first build and everything was running beautifully, and unfortunately the last thing I decided to do was update my BIOS to the newest version... I just ran the downloaded version, installed and restarted, upon restart I get nothing on screen. POST error code just says F2.
I have been Googling for a couple of days and tried a lot, most of the time I was forwarded to this great forum where people had similar problems but for me to no avail. I have tried the following:
    - reset CMOS
    - Disconnect PSU
    - Make formatted USB with versions (I tried all of them, including them in folders + zip)
    - Left x1 RAM in fourth slot
When I put a USB with a BIOS driver in it the POST LED error code just gives F2 (and unpredictably sometimes 36 comes up ). The USB LED just flashes, I've tried this multiple times for up to an hour at most. Secondly when there is no USB drive inside the POST LED seems to go on a loop of codes... here they are (not sure of right order)... 19, 26, 36, F9, F2... when doing this the red LED next to it flashes and so does the DDR_PHASE +2 LED
Sorry if this is a recurring problem that you've seen a lot (I know Svet has!) but I would really appreciate the help. I know a lot of you will say it is bricked but surely there is something I can do... I love this mobo and I will not let her die!

it has the latest version of 13.5 on it out the box! (it was produced 14 months ago)
download the latest version and retry!
I'm doing that now, just plugged in USB and turned on, USB LED is flickering, and POST is just on F2... seems like the same drama as the rest, I will leave it on that for now, how long do you recommend? Also, the middle part of the motherboard (the metal part where it says OC Genie II) gets really hot, is that normal? I have a home office fan on it now with the case open to keep it cool, I don't know if it was like that when everything was running smoothly (in the good old days lol).
What do you suggest I do if this doesn't work?

  • In my firefor options window I have two zipped folders one allows me to brows and see what is inside the other does not give me this option. how can I see what is inside please?

I have had MyWebSearch install itself as my primary browser....I have needed to reset Firefox in safe mode but I am not sure that the changes have actually been done! In Options in the Options menu the window displays all the add on's and features that are on Firefox....I have two zipped folders here One allows me to see inside the other does not. How do I access this one that does not give me the option to as I want to know what is inside...as this "MyWebSearch has been an enormous hassle...and needless to say has compromised my PC and the security of all of my passwords.....I want to be sure that the resetting the browser default has actually worked and that MyWebSearch is gone!

Are you talking about MyWebSearch toolbar (http://help.mywebsearch.com/sbar2.html#q1) which offers apps such as Smiley Central, Cursor Mania???
If yes, uninstallation instructions are here - (http://help.mywebsearch.com/sbar2.html#q4). Could you provide me some details about the ZIP folders. If I get a screenshot, I can help you very well.

  • Can't figure out why the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" is disabled Compressed (zipped) Folders

I recently had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Now with the new version it will not allow me to click the check box "Do this automatically for files like this from now on". The line is disabled and a light gray. I went into the Applications tab under options and can't find the Compressed (zipped) Folders file type either.
I download a bunch of files for work and to have to click is going to be the biggest pain. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

  • ZIP extraction and creation of unwanted folders for them

    Hi.
Is there a way to force "archive utility" to put all files from all zip's form folder to unpack all to that folder without paths and replace any duplicates or maybe rename it? In WinRAR that action i can perform without any effort from my side, on Mac i cannot find any app to do that. There is Stuffit, but this app is corny.
Example: I have 30 different zip with pictures, but in some of them are duplicates (same pictures) and what i need is to Archive utility (or other app) to extract all zips into current folder without folders around them, into root of that folder and replace all duplicates with one, so i get one copy of picture instead of 30...
    cheers

For every user a folder is created in userhome. One approach is to capture this folder creation event and create the folder structure you need. You need to develop a portal service which will listen to events from userhome repository.
    1. Capture folder creation event for user home
    2. Create the folder structure you want in this event handler
Check this documentation on how to do this.

  • How do I disable zip folders in Windows 7?

I like to use a third-party archive application, so I really don't like how by default Windows makes zip files expand automatically in Windows Explorer and show up in the folder view.
So... How do I disable zip folders in Windows 7?
In XP and Vista, I was able to find solutions to remove this "feature"
    In XP, I simply did...
    regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll
In Vista, I had to remove a couple registry entries:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
; Disable ZIP support in Windows Vista
; restart Windows after applying this patch
    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E88DCCE0-B7B3-11d1-A9F0-00AA0060FA31}]
    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0CD7A5C0-9F37-11CE-AE65-08002B2E1262}]
I don't want to guess and delete the wrong registry entries if someone else knows which ones I need to remove.

    EDIT - I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION
After considerable browsing (thank you, Google), I have a solution that works. It is based on fixes for Vista, but works 100% for my Windows 7 64-bit install.
You will need to edit your registry (delete 2 different keys), so I highly recommend you back up your registry or better yet, make an image of your OS drive (probably C:\). I use Norton Ghost 2003 (only from a NG 2003 boot floppy) and have never had a single problem. Norton Ghost does not have to be installed on your system for this to work (in fact, it will stall due to compatibility issues).
First a note regarding the various reg tweaks that are available for download (e.g., "vistaunzip.reg"). These will NOT work - undoubtedly due to ownership/permissions issues.
The following two (2) keys need to be deleted fromthe registry:
For zip files delete the regkey
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E88DCCE0-B7B3-11d1-A9F0-00AA0060FA31}
    For cab files delete
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0CD7A5C0-9F37-11CE-AE65-08002B2E1262}
When you try to delete them, you will almost certainly get an "access denied" or "failed" type of message. Before you can delete them, you need to change the permissions/ownership of these two keys. Here is how to do it:
01 - open regedit from the RUN console
02 - navigate to the first key that needs to be deleted (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E88DCCE0- B7B3-11d1-A9F0-00AA0060FA31})
03 - right click on the key and select "Permissions"
    04 - click on "Advanced"
05 - click on the "Ownership" tab
06 - in the "change owner to" section, highlight your username
07 - check the box for "replace owner on subcontainers and objects"
    08 - click on "Apply"
    09 - Click "OK"
10 - Under "Security" tab, highlight your username and check the box for "Allow Full Control" (located mid-menu in the "Permissions For Administrators" section)
11 - click "Apply" and "OK"
12 - you can now delete the registry key. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON THE CORRECT KEY!
13 - repeat the process for the 2nd key.
14 - reboot (changes will NOT take effect until you reboot
15 - VOILA! NO MORE ZIP FOLDERS! woohoo!
16 - thanks to the original solvers of this problem, whomever they may be.
I would like the same help that deedvd is seeking. How do I DISABLE the
zip folder function? I do NOT want my zip files to appear as "folders".
Why anyone in Redmond thought this was a brilliant idea is beyond me.
It adds to clutter and makes file browsing a lot less enjoyable. I
simply want my zip files to appear as files - with the ".zip"
extension. Just like every other file. The responses to deepdvd were
probably as frustrating to him as they are to me. Changing the default
program for zip files is IRRELEVANT. It only changes whether Windows or
some third party app (7Zip, Izarc, etc) OPENS the files. They continue
to show up as folders.  I tried the unregister script (earlier thread)
"Running regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll should be enough to disable zip functionality. Then just run your 3rd party archite application and let it re-register archive files." and it did not work. I got the same error that deeddvd got "The module "C:\Windows\system32\zipfldr.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllUnregisterServer was not found.
Make sure that "C:\Windows\system32\zipfldr.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again."
I would love to find a resolution to this problem. If anyone out there knows how to DISABLE the zipfolder function, please post the solution. I am thanking you in advance.

  • Zip'ing files from multiple folders to the same zip file

Could somebody recommend a method to create a zip file with file contents from multiple folders? Or is there an application I can drag and drop a bunch of files to zip em?

First highlight all of the folders or files. If they're not right next to each other, or on the same drives, hold down the Command key while clicking to choose the next without losing previous choices.
Once they're all highlighted, right click on any highlighted item and choose "Compress xxx Items".

  • Zipped folders are created without inherited permissions

When I create a zip folder, the zip folder does not inherit permissions are from its parent folder, nor from the files being archived.
(Fixing the permissions manually is not a problem -- only an inconvenience -- but this is repetitive.)  I confirmed that the text files, before archiving, have inherited full-control for Everyone from the parent folder.
    Specific example:
-- in a folder with inherited full-control for Everyone, I archive text files.
-- I archive the files by selecting a group of them, right-clicking the selection, hovering over "Send to", and selecting "Compressed (zipped) folder".
-- The zip folder is created within the same folder...
but the zip folder does not allow full-control to Everyone.
    Why I care:
The parent folder is being backed-up using a bat file that executes ROBOCOPY.
The robocopy fails to backup the zip sub-folders.
I have to edit the permissions on each zip sub-folder after creating it, or set ROBOCOPY parameters to limit retries (in which case zip folders are not backed up).
Is there a simple fix, trick, or setting to make "Send to" / "Compressed (zipped) folder" automatically create the zip folder with inherited permissions?
(Note:  this problem mostly affects us on one of our "Server 2008 R2" systems, but I have recreated it in Windows 7.)
(Also: I posted this question first on answers.microsoft.com, but was told to post it here.)

I realise that this is post has been here for a long time but I happened to be researching something similar and think I have somewhat of a solution for you.
Send to compressed (zipped) folder inherites permissions from the temp folder as this is the folder that windows uses to make the zip file.
Try changing the permissions to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp

  • Archive multiple folders into one zip (Shell/Applescript)

    Hi guys,
This is the third place I'm posting this question and I hope it's third time lucky.
How do I zip several folders from different locations into the one archive using the ditto command or Applescript?
    Thanks,
    Kuzey
      Mac OS X (10.3.9)

This script does what you asked (plain vanilla AppleScript)
set theName to text returned of (display dialog "Enter a name for the new folder to be created, loaded and zipped on the desktop" default answer "ZipFldr" buttons {"Cancel", "Enter"} default button "Enter" with title "Zip Folders")
    tell application "Finder" to make folder at desktop with properties {name:theName}
set FldrPath to ((path to desktop) as string) & theName
    MoveFolders(theName)
    tell application "Finder"
set name of (FldrPath as alias) to name of (FldrPath as alias) & ".zip"
    end tell
    to MoveFolders(newFolder)
set destination to (path to desktop as string) & newFolder
    set More to true
    repeat while More is true
set aFolder to (choose folder with prompt string "Choose a folder to be moved and zipped")
tell application "Finder" to move aFolder to destination
display dialog "Do you want to continue?" buttons {"That's All", "Get More Folders"} default button "Get More Folders"
if button returned of result is "That's All" then set More to false
    end repeat
    end MoveFolders

  • Outlook 2010 can't open zip files in public folders.

The temp folders are empty.  This is a new install.

This is very odd.  I have a new install of Win 7 with Outlook 2010 and I can't open a zip file attached to an email in a public folder.  It is not isolated to a single zip file, machine or user either.  I can open .pdf, xls, .txt and others OK.
    Ideas?
    Thanks!

  • Spotlight not finding files in folders that have been extracted from ZIPs

I've got a folder, say 'test', with some images in it. It is located in ~/Pictures.
I have just downloaded another folder as a ZIP file, which Safari put in /tmp and unzipped automatically. It contains some more images. Let's call it 'exif'. I have moved 'exif' into 'test'.
Now, when I do a Spotlight search of images in the folder 'test', Spotlight does not list the images in 'exif'!
(I do the search with CMD-F, 'test' folder only, Kind = Images.)
However, when I create a different folder in 'test' and move the images from 'exif' to the new one, then a Spotlight search for images in 'test' does list those, too.
Also, when I copy the originial unzipped folder 'exif' to 'test' (Alt + mouse drag), then the images in the new 'exif' folder show up in the Spotlight search.
So it seems a folder that has been extracted from a ZIP archive does not get indexed by Spotlight -- only if its contents have been copied first.
Is this a bug in Spotlight?
    Am I missing something?
It's pretty bad, because I would always have to remember to copy unzipped folders to a new one, in order to make sure that Spotlight does find the stuff!

    Gabriel.

Yeah the new search leaves something  to be desired (actually the old search wasn't so great either). You get better results using Google's advanced search and restricting the search domain to discussions.apple.com.
Here's what the search in Google looks like:
Anyway the old post is why doesn't spotlight search inside aperture library?  it explains why spotlight
doesn't search the library and how to work around it.
