Folio builder has spinning signing in message

recently my folio builder has been not signing in.  it has a signing in message with the spinning icon above it.  It will not sign in. I have the newest tools and updates does anyone have a suggestion?

I've had this happen on my PC version. I had to reset my default browser to IE, and reset all my browser settings to their original settings. This worked for a few other co-workers experiencing the same issue.

  • Folio Builder will not sign me in

When I try to sign into Folio Builder I get the pop-up window and I sign in, definitely using the correct credentials.
However then the window just disappears and folio builder remains not signed in. I have no access to my online folios.
How do I fix this, I urgently need to be able to share a folio.
    Thanks
*EDIT* Ok, so I updated it and its working now.

  • Folio Builder sign in doesn't work!

    Hi
I just downloaded all the tools for CS6 on my Mac, the latest version 32. But the folio builder won't sign in, at all. I can click on it a million times and nothing happens. No pop-ups, no links, just no reaction.
    What do i do?

What does your Folio Builder panel fly out menu look like? You should see the sign in link which will take you to the sign pop-up window and then leave you with only the sign out option.
Are you able to sign in at Adobe Digital Publishing Suite – Sign In? You may need to accept the terms of agreement if this is a new setup. Accepting the terms of agreement has to be done manually at the website and on a computer, not a device.

  • Folio Builder Sign in Failure

Ok, it was working wonderfully up to Friday when i had installed a trial version of CS5.5.
My trial was due on Monday, and when i got my serial installed, the folio builder simply stopped signing in... I reinstalled everything several times. I just resintalled the entire adobe design premium CS5.5 along with folio builder folio producer, hoping that it would work again and nothing. Now I am hopeless...
The same message: "Sign failed. Please try again"

Could you contact me offline at [email protected] so that I can get more information from you.

  • Folio Builder Installer Damaged

I recently launched my Folio Builder panel and signed it. I told me that I need to install an update. I followed the link and downloaded the update. When I opened the installer, I got this message: "Installer.app" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image. "Install.app" is on the disk image "FolioPanel-CS55-12.2.3.dmg". Firefox.app downloaded this disk image today at 11.34 AM."
I tried to also install the Folio Builder tools but also got the same message.
I am working on a Mac OSX and recently upgraded to Mountain Lion. Could that be the issue? If so, how do I resolve?

    Turn off Gatekeeper.

  • Folio builder

Folio builder has stopped logging in, says a software update is required but software is right up to date.
    Worked fine yesterday.
    Any ideas
    Ian

You signing in issue may be a separate issue. It looks like you have the latest tools , you can reinstall them from :  http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5377
Now, if you experiencing a problem when signing into the folio builder panel, then it could be related to bad saved account information for CS Live. Go through the following steps to fix this problem.
Quit InDesign and any other CS apps.
Use the Activity Monitor to quit the CS5ServiceManager or CS5.5Service Manager.
Next delete this file based on version: (Back up the file just in case.)
        Note:
        For example:
        /Users/"your user name"/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/preference/csxs2.pref
        /Users/"your user name"/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5.5ServiceManager/preference/csxs2.pref
Then remove this item from the Keychain Access based on version: Adobe CS5 renga or Adobe CS5.5 renga.
To remove from the keychain, navigate to: /Applications/Utilities and launch the Keychain Access.app
If the lock icon in the upper left appears locked, click it and enter your password to unlock it.
Select the “login” item in the Keychains list in the upper left.
Select “Passwords” from the category list.
Type “renga” in the search field in the upper right.
Lastly, select any matches and press the Delete key.

  • Adobe Folio Builder - Network Error - Dispite no restrictions, details inside

    Hi,
We have a user who is using Indesign, and we have installed Adobe Folio Builder. The problem occurs when they try to sign in to Folio Builder and are given the message 'Network Error'
We know it's not a problem with their credentials as they can sign in to the online portal with no problems. We also have tried different credentials and are given the correct error message that the credentials are wrong.
I've checked the network logs to see what happens when they try and click folio builder and I can't see any unpermitted sites/address show up. What I see is:
    https://na1.r.services.adobe.co-account//amfgateway2/ - Permitted
    https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com - Permitted
    https://na1r.services.adobe.com - Permitted
    https://fpdownload.adobe.com/crossdomain.xml - Permitted
    https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pu-/swz/crossdomain.xml - Permitted
Anyone got any suggestions on what is causing this problem?
    Thanks
    Matt

I can't try another machine, as we only have Folio Builder on the one machine.
We only have one login, it doesnt work on folio builder plugin, but works perfectly fine on the online portal. It's 100% not a problem with the credentials

  • Folio builder update issue

Was prompted to update folio builder on my Windows 7 PC running InDesign CS5.5. Did so, restarted, launched InDesign and once again was prompted to access folio builder update. Tried it again, same result.
Tried updating both folio producer and folio builder, got the same results.
Still getting the prompt "A newer version of Folio Builder is available for download."
Any ideas on steps to rectify?
    Thx

I found a solution to my problem, which is kind of similar.  Hopefully this can help others who get the update folio builder request, even when its been updated.
I found Indesign CS6 + Folio Builder has some type of glitch on my Windows 7 machine.  If the folio builder window is open when I open Indesign, it will close as soon as Indesign starts up.  When I open the Folio Builder panel it will always ask me to update the folio builder, even though it is fully updated.
The solution for me, is to make sure the folio builder panel is always closed when I close down Indesign.  In this way when Indesign is opened, the folio builder panel does not open automatically.  I then wait for a few seconds after Indesign has fully opened.  Once it's fully open and ready to go, I open the folio builder panel and viola the folio builder panel opens correctly and I'm signed in.

  • Can not update folio's since latest Folio Builder panel update

I want to add articles to my folio, but since the latest update after uploading one page (say vertical) the Folio Builder keeps spinning (see image) and if I log on to the website it syas articles are corrupt.
Now I need this folio to be updated before tomoroow and I'm stuck here?
    Bug?

    See screenshot.

It looks like we are experiencing the same problem. (See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/924524?tstart=0) The common thread seems to be uploading pages as PDFs -- the publication I was working on was also set up that way.

  • Folio Builder is missing from indesign cs6 panel

    Hi,
I have Indeisgn CS6. I need to access my Folio Builder, however after updating the system my folio builder has disappeared completely from the drop down 'Windows' tool.
Any idea how to get this back?

  • InDesign folio builder software update required

I recently downloaded the English version of InDesign from Adobe Creative Cloud. I created an article. I opened the folio builder. The software update required popped up. I updated the required software. When I tried using the folio builder afterwards, the same icon message appears. What can I do to solve the problem?

You need to update your software. Download the latest version from http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f60-21ba9a4512e5e5e0b8d-7 ffe.html.

  • Folio Builder Won't update...Help!

Thanks upfront for any response. I'm on a newer mac(Quad-Core Intel Xeon 12 GB of memory)  10.6.8 with Indesign 5.5. The folio panel in Indesign simply has the download update button at the bottom. I myself have downloaded it and tried to install too many times. It simply crashes about 3 secs into installing, and tells me to download the Adobe Support Advisor, (which I did and) and it does nothing other then package up the info for a Rated ($) question you can pay for later.
I've also now downloaded the most recent update (may 2 release) for the FolioProducerTools-CS55-1.10 and FolioPanel-CS55-12.2.2. Both to no avail. Also, I have about 3 other people in my department try it as well with the same results... I'm starting to think it might be a permissions thing with our IT department. Although I'm an admin on this machine.
I'm headed to a cool Pepcon conference next week and would like to be able to get my feet wet with some of this DPS stuff before I go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Scott

James, what I nightmare. I found this as I am having the same problem. I've followed the solutions from other members and adobe folks with no success.
When I launch Indesign CS5.5, my FOLIO BUILDER has the "Download Update" information.
I have downloaded and installed the following several times:
    FolioProducerTools-CS55-1.10.1.dmg
    FolioPanel-CS5-12.2.2.1.dmg
    Things I've tried:
    1. In Activity Monitor, quitting CS5.5ServiceManager and installing both again.
    2. Deleted all folders in Library > Preferences > StageManager > Local Store.
    3. Updated Indesign to latest version 7.5.3 and did everything again and reinstalled.
Incidentally, I got it to work on another computer which is running 10.5.
    Here are my computer specs:
    Mac OS X Version 10.6.8
    2.66 GHz Intel Core i5
    4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
How do I attached my installer log? Please help, thank you!

  • Cannot access Adobe Folio Builder using Indesign (CS6) on Windows 7, error message is 'An error has occured while trying to sign in to the Folio Builder Panel' [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE]

Cannot access Adobe Folio Builder using Indesign (CS6) on Windows 7, error message is 'An error has occured while trying to sign in to the Folio Builder Panel' [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE]

Yes, I can open the DPS portal via the Folio Builder panel within InDesign. Although I have created Folios locally within InDesign CS6, the DPS portal is empty and everthing greyed out with just the text "There are no folios to display. Create folios with the folio builder in InDesign".
If I try to sign in within the Folio Builder panel in InDesign, I get the error message [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE] . In addition I am also not able to access the "Help" menu from within InDesign although I am connected to the internet.
To complicate it even further, I am working in the UK whereas all internet control (firewall) and licences are handeled by head office in Germany. I am not sure if this is a firwewall issue or not but if the IT department in Germany could get support from Adobe to understand the access requirements, this may help.
Hopefully using the forum someone out there will know the answer.

  • FOLIO BUILDER - Signing in loader doesn't stop spinning

I am facing a bizzare situation with folio builder.
As I open the FB panel first it just blinks and does not open. On second approach the panel opens but is filled with spining "signing in"
loader. It spins for hours with no result.

    All external drives - ejected.
    Tried
    - quiting Innd
    - restarting Mac
    with no results
Any ideas how to solve this issue?
I would be very gratefull for any assistance.
