Folio Builder tool palette: Cannot sign in.

Help Please???
In Indesign CS and CC:  When I select 'Sign In' in the Folio Builder tool palette, the App manager will launch then I sign in with my credentials.  Then app manager simply quits.  tried this many times with same result in CS and CC.  Have also tried this and it corrupted my InDesing (meaning InDesigned prompted a window that the InDesign application has been dammaged):  Deleted the following file... /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and then restart Indesign?
Thanks, RW

    We have tried this on a range of Macs, we have logged on with both account with admin rights and the administrator on the Mac - all of which have failed. Examples of the Mac's etc are all below;
    Mac 1;
    OS 10.8.4
    Adobe CS5 Updated to 7.0.4.355
    Current Folio Builder v26
    Mac 2;
    OS 10.8.4
    Adobe CS5 Updated to 7.0.4.355
    Current FolioBuilder v28
    Mac 3;
    OS 10.8.5
    Adobe CS5 Updated to 7.0.4.355
    Current Foilio Builder v25
    Mac 4
    OS 10.6.8
    Adobe CS5 Updated to 7.0.4.355
    Current Foilio Builder v28
The strange thing is we have got it working, logges on as a user with admin rights on 2 Macs runing 10.9 and 10.6.8
    Please Help!

Did you get the tools from here?
BTW, in case you’re not aware you should be thinking about InDesign upgrades at this point or you’re going to have a problem come September:

  • I cannot sign in into folio builder in my CS5, always I get the message " Sing in failed, please try again."

I' using a CS5 InDesign with Folio Builder tools installed, always when i tried to Sign in I get the message "Sign in failed. Please try again", I tried over and over and nothing change. How can I sign in into folio builder in my CS5 InDesign?

DPS is no longer supported for CS5 and CS5.5. You need CS 6 or CC.

  • Folio builder has spinning signing in message

recently my folio builder has been not signing in.  it has a signing in message with the spinning icon above it.  It will not sign in. I have the newest tools and updates does anyone have a suggestion?

I've had this happen on my PC version. I had to reset my default browser to IE, and reset all my browser settings to their original settings. This worked for a few other co-workers experiencing the same issue.

  • Folio Builder sign in for Pro/Enterprise customers only?

Have Adobe changed the way users can access the Folio Builder?
I am having problems signing in to my personal Adobe ID and then using the Folio Builder tools... whereas I used to be able to do this.
I have folios in there, like interactive adverts, test work, then I share those folios, with the various Enterprise accounts for publishing into folios.
If someone can advise on best practice for Adobe DPS CS6, that would be helpful. I have updated to all the latest DPS tools for CS6.
    cheers
    David

Okay. This helped.... plus the sign-in window has changed...

  • Folio Builder Installer Damaged

I recently launched my Folio Builder panel and signed it. I told me that I need to install an update. I followed the link and downloaded the update. When I opened the installer, I got this message: "Installer.app" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image. "Install.app" is on the disk image "FolioPanel-CS55-12.2.3.dmg". Firefox.app downloaded this disk image today at 11.34 AM."
I tried to also install the Folio Builder tools but also got the same message.
I am working on a Mac OSX and recently upgraded to Mountain Lion. Could that be the issue? If so, how do I resolve?

    Turn off Gatekeeper.

  • InDesign CS6 Folio Builder Crashes Version 32.0.0

    Hi,
I've only just installed the DPS Desktop Tools for InDesign CS6 and the installation worked perfectly although upon opening Folio Builder in InDesign it results in the program crashing...
So far I've re installed InDesign I've tried a few other solutions although none seem to be relevant to this version 32.0.0
It wouldn't be that big a deal although I need the Folio Builder tool for my current assessment.. Not being able to work on it at home is going to be detrimental to the end result
    Hope someone can help me!

    Hi Bob
We're actually using your Lynda tutorial for our training, it's such a great resource thank you.
Here's a thread I was reading which wasn't helpful for myself although I did try some solutions that were relevant to me.
Re: InDesign CS 6 Folio Builder crashing
    Solutions tried:
    - Re installing InDesign CS6
    - Downloaded DPS updates directly from Adobe
    - One post suggested deleting my cache file/folders which would result in any folios I've made deleted however this
is the first time I've used the DPS tools in Adobe so I didn't worry.
    - I've also deleted/reset my preferences
Is there anything else you can suggest?

  • Folio Builder Panel - need clarifications

    Hi All,
I need the below clarifications on Folio Builder Panel:
    (1) After installing Folio Builder Tool, I tried to generate FOLIO file, it shows like only one FOLIO will be generated as free, pl. confirm whether I can continue in generating FOLIO as free like done in pre-release tool 'Adobe Digit Content Bundler'
    (2) After installing Folio Builder Tool, I unable to use 'Adobe Digit Content Bundler', pl. confirm whether I need to reinstall again the installed tool and installing again the 'Adobe Digit Content Bundler'
    Thanks,
    Praveen

Thanks Bob, for point 1, is it ok if I reinstall the same pre-release tool to generate the FOLIO file and continue for some more time, since my concern is not yet come to the conclusion to invest amount only for creating FOLIO files?

  • Cannot sign in to the Folio Builder

Cannot sign in to the Folio Builder, nor the Folio Producer tools online...
    Any update on this please?

Hi, we currently have a system outage whereby signing in is affected.
Our Engineering team is working on this and will update the status page ASAP.
    Thanks for your patience

  • Cannot access Adobe Folio Builder using Indesign (CS6) on Windows 7, error message is 'An error has occured while trying to sign in to the Folio Builder Panel' [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE]

Cannot access Adobe Folio Builder using Indesign (CS6) on Windows 7, error message is 'An error has occured while trying to sign in to the Folio Builder Panel' [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE]

Yes, I can open the DPS portal via the Folio Builder panel within InDesign. Although I have created Folios locally within InDesign CS6, the DPS portal is empty and everthing greyed out with just the text "There are no folios to display. Create folios with the folio builder in InDesign".
If I try to sign in within the Folio Builder panel in InDesign, I get the error message [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE] . In addition I am also not able to access the "Help" menu from within InDesign although I am connected to the internet.
To complicate it even further, I am working in the UK whereas all internet control (firewall) and licences are handeled by head office in Germany. I am not sure if this is a firwewall issue or not but if the IT department in Germany could get support from Adobe to understand the access requirements, this may help.
Hopefully using the forum someone out there will know the answer.

  • I cannot sign into Folio Builder in my CS6 download.

I had CS5.5 purchased and couldn't get the upgrade so I became a Creative Cloud member. Now i cannot access Folio Builder and try to update the CS6.0 but it won't let me log in to Folio Builder.

Moved to the Digital Publishing Suite forum. They will be able to help you here.

  • Can't sign in to Folio Builder - Urgent deadline

I keep getting the error message 'Sign in has failed [svr Unknown]'
    I am using CS5.5. I originally installed V1.01. This didn't allow me to log in so I downloaded 1.13.2. - I can't install this because I don't have OS 10.6!!
I am operating OS 10.5.8 and cannot upgrade to 10.6 as my machine is an iMac circa 2006. OS10.6 is a system requirment for the latest version of Folio Builder it seems.
Please can someone get back to me urgently with a solution to getting my Folio Builder to work as I have created a publication that needs to be uploaded for iPad tonight!!!
    Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure you are out of luck if you are on OS 10.5 You can try installing the older version of the folio producer tools from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/collection.jsp?collID=4&platform=Macintosh, but that won't impact the version of folio builder panel that's installed. You have to have the latest version of the panel.
Note that we have never supported 10.5, although in past releases it did happen to work. The system requirements at http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-publishing-suite-pro/tech-specs.html have always indicated 10.6 is the minimum.

  • Can't sign into Folio Builder. CS6 Recent DPS update. OSX 10.8.6

Can't sign into folio builder with Adobe ID within indesign 6. The sign in window won't even come up. I have updated the most previous DPS tools to no avail. I can access my folios and sign in to the folio builder through browser, but cannot access through program. I've tried a reinstall, deleting the service manager etc.
    Thanks.

I found a work around. Do a complete reinstall of Adobe suite. Update the DPS for CS6. When you first open Indesign CS6 [even before launch] you will be asked for Adobe ID, sign in here and when program opens it should automatically sign you into folio builder and connect with DPS. When they updated DPS I don't think they connected the back end of sign in within the program.
Very frustrating and thankfully I had no hard deadline.

    Hi.
I have been strugling with this issue all day. I am currently on Adobe Indesign CS6 (Not the cloud version) and I installed Adobe Folio Builder successfully. Everything works fine except that I cannot sign into folio builder. When I click on the sign in button nothing happens. I have looked into other posts from people with the same problem but none of the solutions that worked for them have worked for me. I tried clearing my preferences, reinstalling Desktop tools a few times and reinstalling adobe application manager but no luck. PLEASEEEEE Help!
