Folio renditions not showing in new iPad viewer

I created a v19 viewer and built my new issue with both 1024 and 2048 renditions. On the 1st gen iPad the viewer works perfectly. It says updating library for about 3 seconds and the new issue appears and downloads the 1048 renditions, no problem. On the 3rd gen iPad all I get is the updating library message indefinitely. These are retail folios and I checked the that product ID was entered correctly. They appear without a problem in the content viewer just not in the development app. Any suggestions?

Retail folios should not appear in the Adobe Content Viewer. They should appear only in the development and distribution apps. Are you sure you set the folios to Retail?

Apps not showing on new iPad

Just purchased an iPad Air and already own an iPad Mini and iPhone. Using the same iTunes account, it doesn't show purchased apps on my Air when I go into the App Store. Some apps work, others don't. The ones that don't, I deleted to reinstall. When I went to reinstall, it asked me to purchase again. The app developer said I don't need to re-purchase per device.
I've owned three previous iPads and three iPhones. Could that be an issue?
II've made sure I have automatic uploads set up via iCloud. When I set up my new Air, I set it up with my most recent backup. Should I set up as a new device?

I was signed in to my iTunes/App store account. What triggered it to work was going into my iTunes account, turning off Apps in the Cloud then turning it back on. Once I did that, all of my purchases showed up.
It could've just been old fashioned patience, but I know there have been other times when something hasn't worked where toggling the settings have done the trick.

Some iTunes vids in library not showing on new iPad

Im pretty sure the reason some of my music is missing is that I didn't buy it from iTunes, but rather copied it to my library from CDs (is that right?) But these are music videoes that I bought from iTunes. And, other iTunes vids did show up and offer themselves to me for download.
This is my first full day of life with an iPad so I'm still trying to figure it all out. Thanks!

Virtually all of the music on my iPad is music that I imported from CD. I think I might have 4 or 5 songs that I bought from iTunes and all of my music and music videos sync fine.
You are looking in the Music App for the songs - correct? And you are looking for the Music videos in the Videos app as well - correct?

Folio issue - not showing in Adobe Viewer iPad 1

I have a Folio created at 1024 x 768. It is loaded through the Folio Builder and everything is filled on in the Folio Producer.
When I log into the Adobe Viewer on an iPad 1, it does not show up.
My Adobe Viewer is up-to-date.
The Folio is created for Viewer 20.
Our Branded Viewer is updated to Viewer 20.
I also have another version uploaded at 2048 x 1536, it shows up in the Adobe Viewer on iPad 3.
Anyone have any ideas why is will not show on an iPad 1?

I am not sure exactly what happened. One of the articles imported, but it wqas scaled down 50%. Due to the size difference it would not load to the Viewer.
Reloading into the Folio did not work. I created another Folio with that article, loaded it. Then I copied from one folio to another in the Folio Producer.
Go figure?

That is Pages for iPad v2.0, which Pages '09 v4.3 can't read.
You need to either stick with the older version of Pages on the iPad or get Pages 5 for the Mac which is only available if you are running OSX 10.9 Mavericks.
Unfortunately that is not the end of your woes because Apple has made iCloud convert the files to Pages 5 now, and Pages 5 has over 90 features deleted on top of doing a shocking job of converting older Pages files.

New tables & indexes created do not show up in dba_segments view

I have created 3 tables and some indexes, but these objects do not show up in dba_segments view. Is this a normal behaviour? Previously, with dictionary managed tablespace, I can specify the minimum extent to create, when the table/index is created. But I'm not sure how the locally managed tablespace work. Please do advice. Thank you very much in advance.

Prior to 11g, when you created a table or whatever, you automatically allocated one extent.
This is now no longer true and depends on a parameter I don't remember.
dba_segments is a summary of dba_extents.
Obviously, if there is no extent allocated, the table (view is defined with inner join) will not show up.
You could qualify this is as a bug and submit a SR to Oracle. But then the performance impact may be huge.

Probably
do they show in last import? Probably they do - then you have one of two problems
1 - incorrect event sort - correct under the view menu ==> sort events
OR
2 - incorrect date/time setting on the camera - correct using the camera menu to set the correct date/time for future photos and the ones already imported correct by selecting them in the last import and using the adjust time/date command

All of a sudden, my folios do not preview on the iPad

I have successfully developed an app that is live in the Apple App store. (FYI) Yesterday, all of a sudden my folios would not preview on the iPad. The message said that I had to have Adobe Content Viewer open on the device, which I have open, but it will only preview to the desktop. I checked the cables, I've uninstalled Indesign. Reinstalled, updated the DPS tools, restarted, trashed preferences. I don't know what to do now. Everything was going smoothly until yesterday. What gives?

How to solve this problem?

Well, you nailed that one, thank you.
I had 3 accounts checked off: iCloud, Yahoo and "From my Mac."
When I unchecked my Yahoo contacts from my iPhone, the contacts that were not syncing to my Mac disappeared from my iPhone - so that explains why some of my iPhone created contacts were not syncing with my Mac.

However, this now begs some new questions:
What is iCloud trying to tell me regarding that message in my account that says I can't review my devices unless I have iOS 8 and/or Yosemite?
When I am creating a contact, how can I tell if it is being saved in Yahoo or iCloud accounts?
How can tell what account a contact is associated with by looking at a previously created contact?
How can I transfer Yahoo contacts to iCloud?
And when I look at the accounts checked off under 'accounts' on my iPhone Contacts, what the deuce does "From my Mac" mean and imply?
Everything used to work fine when I first set up my iPhone and my Mac. What have I done to screw this up? lol

Thanks! For whatever bizarre reason for which I have no answer - I sync'd my iPad to my MBP the old fashion way (not iCloud) and the movie showed up just fine. It is Nikon camera 'how to' video. I like to watch them for a better indepth discovery of what the camera can do. The only weird thing about the hard wire sync is that it was placed in a catagory "home movies" which was never there before...actually it showed up in two places "home movies" and TV shows.

You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.
Here's how to do the recovery. Note you may have to try to get into recovery mode more than once to succeed:

Old All-Day events not showing in Calendar List View

Reviewing events in my Calendar on the iPhone and have noticed that All Day Events that are older than one year do not show in the "List" view
For example, I have all my holidays in a calendar called "Vacation". Month and Day view list holidays from earlier than today (09 Sept 2008) properly, however list view shows nothing. Timed events (e.g. day trips) in the same calendar show.
Similarly no Birthdays appear in the past. I can see a case for Birthdays being omitted in the past, but not other events (e.g. wanting to know exactly when you went to that all day wedding last summer)

I have this same exact problem. For me, past events that have a specific time associated with them show up in List view; however, past events that are all day events only show in List view once in a blue moon only. Apple support has been absolutely clueless about this issue. They just tell me it's weird and they have no explanation. It's unbelievably annoying though.

Also try this...go to the project properties for the View project. Look at the JSF Libraries and remove the two JSF libraries and then re-add them....this sometimes helps.

Calendar events not showing up in list view

Hi,
some of my events are not showing up in list view. They are synced to the iphone. I can see them in day and month view.
It seems to me that events created with ical and synced through MM are not showing up, but I'm not sure.
Any idea?

Yes I have also events from the holidays and the events I created.(Invitations and others) but where is this option for the NC? In general>notifications I can't find anything about showing events from different calendars there. And how is this subscription made because I had the holidays as soon as I input my account on this device. Maybe I included the holiday calendar but I don't remember. How is that made? And where to find these options?
