Follow up document in CRM and ERP

Hi Experts,
My requirement is that  when a service order is created in CRM , on line item level, a corresponding Service Notification (IW51) is to be created in ERP.
Please suggest the available design options to achieve this functionality.
Regards,
Lakshmi

Hi Kamal
In some cases like ;; from Lead to Opportunity , you will see create opportunity on the toolbar. but, some cases like custom made transactions you  wont have visibility of these transactions as a follow-up
for this you will have to add a button to toolbar button, and also the logic behind it. Most of the cases portal guys will do this
reward points if this works

  • CRM and ERP in one System

    Hi everybody,
SAP plans to deliver CRM and ERP as  an Co Implementation; that means CRM and ERP will be available in one system with one SID.
Does anybody know more, especially when will this be available?
    Thanks and regards.
    Andreas

    Hej.
The link information between sap item and archived document is stored in tables toa01, toa02, toa03 or toahr. Maybe you can do a mapping/export/import from the entries between erp and crm....
additionally you need to customize connection to the same archives.
Did not try that, but i think it's worth testing :o)

  • Basic question regarding Contract data exchange between CRM and ERP

    Hi,
    1) At a very general level, can somebody tell me via what technology are contract documents exchanged between CRM and ERP? IDocs, RFC modules or proxies?
    2) Is it possible to sychronise changes in a contract, e.g. if the contract is changes in the ERP system, those changes are auotomatically updated in the CRM contract?
    3) Can somebody point me to any documentation on this?
    Kind Regards,
    Tony.

contracts are exchanged between CRM ans ERP ssytem ny RFC and FM , you use object SALESCONTRACT for this,it is possible to synchronize changes between both the systems

  • Link Table between CRM and ERP

    Hi Experts,
Does anyone knows the link table between CRM and ERP for Contact Person (Buss Part) CRM and Contact Person ERP.
In my customer system, contacts are automatically duplicated in CRM.
When you make a change in ERP, this change is automatically done in CRM.
So I suppose that there is a table between the both systems to find the corresponding number...
Thank you for your help and hope my English is good enough to understand :o)
    Best regards,
    Luis.

    Hi Micky,
    Thanks for your answer.
    Unfortunatelly, number are differents...
I move this question to CRM forum ;o)

  • Communication between CRM and ERP for E-commerce scenario

Question more on lines of system architecture design.
We are planning to implement CRM E-commerce and wanted to find out more detail about the communication between CRM and ERP systems. Do they need to communicate in real time for this application, or is it mainly initial and delta loads? Is the amount of data exchanged huge ( necessitating both systems to be on the same network, or can they be on separate geographical locations )?
We also understand that E-commerce can also be done only using ERP. How does that differ from the CRM version?

    Hey Sanket,
Q 1 . Do CRM and ECC need to communicate in real time for Ecommerce application, or is it mainly initial and delta loads
Ans. CRM and ECC communicate using RFC connections which further uses TCP/IP as the protocol. The communication can be both  real time { delta loads} or offline {initial download}.
Q2 .Is the amount of data exchanged huge ( necessitating both systems to be on the same network, or can they be on separate geographical locations )?
Ans. The amount of data can be huge hence its preferable that both systems to be on the same network.
Q 3. We also understand that E-commerce can also be done only using ERP. How does that differ from the CRM version
Ans.Theres no difference functionally  but technically the application connects to the ECC system using JCO to execute all the RFC enabled function modules.
    Warm Regards,
    Sumit

  • Different pricing procedure between CRM and ERP

    Hello,
we`re using a CRM system which is connected to a ERP system. As not all pricing conditions from ERP are needed in CRM (an in addition the ERP pricing procedure is very complex), we would like to use a different (with less conditions) pricing procedure ind CRM.
But now, when we transfer an order from CRM to ERP, the pricing procedure from ERP gets downloaded into the order in CRM and the prices are lost. Therefore I have 2 questions:
    1. Is it not possible to have a different pricing procedure in CRM than in ERP?
    2. Is it possible to stop transferring the pricing procedure from ERP back to CRM when transferring orders?
Thank you in acvance for your help
    Jan

    Hi, Jan.
    1. Is it not possible to have a different pricing procedure in CRM than in ERP?
Yes. You can use different  pricing procedure for you business documents.
We use this for quotation management with inergation CRM-ERP.
But, You must use same Condition Types and other objects.
    Denis.

  • CRM and ERP Materials Replication

    Dear friends,
I want to know please how can i replicate materials in MM module in sap ERP that has characteristics and classes to sap CRM, and i want to know if there is prerequisite to do this without facing any problems.
    Best Regards,
    Mohamed

    Hi Mohamed,
Thease materials are called as configurable materials. Below is what you need to do
To download configurable material from R/3 to CRM adapter objects CLASS, ATTRIBUTE, OBJCL, SCE needs to be downloaded first. Change the filters for all these adapter objects in RCAC1 and use class 300 (Variant) other wise it will bring all the class and characteristics data to CRM.
Before using the load make sue that there is following entry in table SMOFPARSFA.
    Key               R3A_COMMON
    Parameter name     CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION.
once done you can bring the material from R/3 to CRM through download. once everything is done you need to create the knowledge base in ECC transaction CU31. once done the only you will be able to use the configurable products in CRM ( IPC should be configured )
    Thanks

  • Mutual Changes of sales document in  CRM and ECC

    HI
1.We have a scenario as we are creating orders in CRM, but want to change the same in ECC. Also whatever changes we do in ECC should flow back to CRM.
2.Similarly, if we create sales order in ECC, it should be changeable in CRM and the corresponsing changes flow back to ECC.
I came across following SAP notes for the same.
    1.889051: Scenario A
    2.642944:Interdependent changes
My question is What is the difference between Scenario A and Interdependent Changes?
    Please help urgently.

  • Mapping Between Business Partners and Customers in CRM and ERP

    Hi,
I wanted to know how are the business Partners and Customers replicated from ERP to CRM systems and Vice Versa. I would also want to know how can i check this mapping in the tables.
eg: Get a customer or BP from the ERP system, how do i find it in CRM system.
    Regards,
    Rishav

    Hi Rishav,
    Here is how it works.
The table for customers in ERP is KNA1 and the field for customer number is KUNNR.
In CRM the table CRMM_BUT_CUSTNO contains the mapping between customer number in ERP and the BP GUID
in CRM. The table BUT000 in CRM contains the mapping between BP GUID in CRM and the BP Number
Apart from that the table CRMV_BUPA_CUSTNO contains the mapping between Business Partner Number and Customer.
    Hope this clarifiies your doubt.
    Best Regards,
    Shourav.

  • Bp master data match between crm and erp

    hi gurus,
is there a match list indicating the customer master fields in erp and in crm.
which field can be synchronized to crm? which field is the target one?
can gurus help provide? thank you.

    Hi Daniel,
I am not sure if there is a list for that. But, the mandatory fields in R/3 should be same as the mandatory fields in CRM for the data transfer to be successful. You can set that up in transaction OVT0.

  • Settings for transactions replication from CRM to ERP

    Hi,
Can you explain or point to documentation on what settings we need to configure in CRM and ERP side to replicate the transactions such as quotation, Sales Order etc from CRM to ERP?
As I understand we can use Adapter Business objects in CRM to transfer the ERP documents to CRM transactions?
What is the method for transferring in the other direction?
What are the customization things we need to maintain in both systems? Such as having the same transaction and item category  types defined in both systems etc..
    Please clarify this replication process.
    Thanks

Take a look at the following notes:
    620139
    642944
    888665
    889051
And for replication of customazing and data take a look at building blocks B09 and C03.
However be aware that you will have to create transaction types and item category types on CRM, because this customazing can't be synchronized from ERP. So it has to be done manualy.
    Regards.

  • Sales order follow up document

    Hi
we have customized a sales order transaction & maintained copy control settings for this sale order  transaction, to determine three activity related follow up transactions Eg: ic activity, Bus Activity with Products and Adjest Order.
The problem is instead of our three follow up transactions other transactions are appearing ( Appointment, Interaction Log, Billing Document) in IC Web Client for the sales order transaction.
    plz kindly help me

    Hi,
In order specific transaction type  can be created as
follow up , copy control entry must be available in:
      SAP Implementation Guide
        Customer Relationship Management
          Transactions
            Basic Settings
              Copying Control for Business Transactions
Define Copying Control for Transaction Types
This is not necessary for transaction with business category task or
    activity.
In SAP Standard all activities and tasks are always allowed as follow-up
documents (not only in WebUI but also in SAP GUI). Note 661305 suggests
a modification which completely deactivates the automatic permission of
preceding documents of follow-up documents for activities and tasks. As
of CRM 7.0, this modification is no longer required because of a new
    customizing table.
The customizing of navigation bar profile is of importance.
Go to CRM => UI Framework => Technical Role Definition => Define
Navigation Bar Profile => position on Nav Bar Profile and choose
"Define Generic OP Mapping". In order a transaction type is shown
in the follow up pop up, an entry for the relevant object type must
be available for object action "CREATE".
I hope this information help you.
    Best Regards, Winnie

  • Delete SC line item when a follow-on document is created

    Hi
We are working in a classic scenario.
When a shopping cart is created from a catalog, it automatically creates a Purchase order in ECC.
However, users are able to delete the line items of the cart when a follow-on document is created and vendor is ready to supply the material.
How to restrict the users deleting the SC line items?
    PV.

    Hi Azad,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
We are on to SRM5.0 (SRMSERVER 550 SP11).
Even though it is standard functionality, still it is behaving the way explained.
Tried to look for OSS notes and could not find one for my version. We may take up with SAP.
Meanwhile, as this is causing lot of problem to business, I may have to achieve this by any means.
    Please throw your tips.
