Follow-up material being assigned to another follow-up material

Hi,
I am trying to assign a follow-up material A to material B but get the following message:
Material B is already a follow-up material in plant X.
This is not a warning or an error message but I still can't save the changes.
I have tried to search for any other material that has material B assigned as a follow-up material but can't find anything.
How can I get around this?
Thanks

Dear Deeksha,
If my understanding is correct then I guess already material B itself is acting/assigned as a followup material for some other
material(say For example for material C in the plant X) and in return you are trying to assign a material A as a followup material
for B.
Check in table MARC for the plant X and for field NFMAT = B,identify for which material this acts as a followup material in plant
X.
Check and revert

  • No material group assigned to this value

Hello, I am trying to add new value to a purchasing organization in extended attributes about product categories.
When I add new value system throws an error message: "No material group assigned to this value", this material group is created in R/3 backend but not in SRM. How can I transport this value to SRM? Only 3 values not all data about material groups.
    Thanks in advance

Hello, I have this in the transactions that you mentioned:
    r3ar2
    Request Name: ESN
    Adapter Object: DNL_CUST_PROD1
RequestType: Request: Objects could be loaded from R/3 backend / CRM DB
    Use One with mark
    Table: T023T
    FieldName: MATKL
    I/E: I Inlusive defined set/array
    Opt: BT
Low and High: range of material groups that I want to replicate.
I put in transaction R3ar4 the request name and when I check on transaction r3ar3 this transaction is running and take long time .... I think there is a problem because are only 3 product categories
What can I do to check if the system failed or something similar?
    Thanks

I dragged a copy of a photo onto my desktop from iPhoto, and it seems to be in some state of process/activity (vs. just being a copy of a photo on my desktop).  I tried to delete/move to trash the photo, and I keep getting the following message:  “DSC_0073.JPG” can’t be opened right now because it’s being used by another task, such as moving or copying an item or emptying the Trash. Try again when the current task is complete.
How do I delete this photo from my desktop?
    Thanks!

I ended up shutting down my system, and when I started it back up, I was able to drag the photo to the trash and delete it (I did get a message warning that my deleting the photo might negatively affect the application that was "using" it, but I deleted it anyway...it worked...and I'm hoping I didn't adversely affect another application!).
Thanks so much for your help!

  • When a linked .pdf is clicked, it downloads rather than following the link and opening in another safari window.

When a linked .pdf is clicked, it downloads rather than following the link and opening in another safari window.

Thanks for the tip, but I had already tried this and it did not help. The File still downloads and , at the same time, a new Safari window opens - but the Safari window is blank.
Another discussion thread related to this problem is:
How do I prevent automatic downloading of .pdf files?
but this deals  with Safari 5.1 which evidently has a problem with Adobe Reader.
I am using Safari 5.0, so the suggested solutions do not apply. ( I tried them anyway, but they did not work.)

  • Handling Unit not being assigned to TO for an outbound delivery

    Hi All
When I create a TO for an outbound delivery then a handling unit is not being assigned to the TO.
I cannot confirm the TO as it complains about the non assignment of HU.
I have done the following so far:
    1. Set up a default packing material w.r.t WhNo and movement type.
    2. Defined a packing group and then assigned the packing group to the packing material.
    3. Set 1 to the indicator for automatic HU creaion in customizations for automatic HU creation.
Is there something I am missing in the configuration?
    Any suggestions would help.
    Thanks,
    Arup

    Hello,
HU never get assign at the time of creation of TO. You can assign pick HU at the time of confirmation of TO. There are two ways
Use transaction code LH01 and assign pick HU
          OR
(ii)Or at the time of confirmation of TO click on pack tab and complete the packing

  • Excluded client problem - "Attempted to use IP Address assigned to another device" / "Identity Theft"

    Hi all
    Problem:
Client gets excluded caused by "Identity Theft" (when looking in the controller) and "Attempted to use IP Address assigned to another device" (when looking in the WCS).
    Setup:
Centrally placed WLAN Controller - The SSID and AP is in H-REAP mode, and the DHCP server locally is a ASA5505.
    Client:
    Samsung Galaxy Tap 10.1
Other clients on the same site do not apeer to have this problem.
    The problem is peoridic.
    Other info:
We have recently upgraded to 7.0.230 because the same type of client would get excluded with reason "unknown", and not be removed from the exclusion list - this apears to have been a bug in the WLC software.
Now we have the reason, and the client will get removed from the exlusion list after the default 60 seconds, but then get excluded again.
When doing a troupleshoot client from the WCS the following shows up:
04/16/2012 12:10:32 CEST INFO 10.1.33.13 DHCP offer received, dhcp server set.
04/16/2012 12:10:32 CEST ERROR 10.1.33.13 Received DHCP ACK, could not update client state.
04/16/2012 12:10:32 CEST INFO 10.1.33.13 Received DHCP request, error processing packet.
    04/16/2012 12:10:42 CEST ERROR 10.1.33.13 De-authentication sent to client. slot 0 (claller apf_ms.c:5113)
    The question right now is:
The "could not update client state" - is this the WLC not being able to update the client or is it the DHCP server ?

As i tried to explain before, we have local switching at the remote site, not centralized for this SSID.
And the DHCP server is on the same local VLAN.
It works fine, but all of a sudden a client will get "stuck" in this error.
If anyone wants to look, I have this debug output from the WLC.
The debug starts from right after I have removed the client from the exclusion list.
I can see in the ASA that the clients lease time in the DHCP server will get renewed duing this process to the default 3600 seconds.
    The clients MAC is :8c:77:12:ac:8c:3b
The ASA inside interface is: 192.168.2.1 /24
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Most likely, you're getting a network address from your router. The address assignment ("lease") expires, and has to be renewed, after a certain amount of time, which might be one hour or one day. The lease expired without being renewed because the device was offline at the time. Meanwhile, the address was leased to another device on the network. When the first device comes back online, it still has the address that's now also leased to the second device. Depending on what kind of router you have, the conflict may resolve itself automatically. If not, then from the menu bar, select
               ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the TCP/IP tab. Now look at the menu labeled Configure IPv4. If the selection in that menu is Using DHCP, click the button labeled Renew DHCP Lease. Test.
Less likely, you have a network address that you assigned yourself, and another device is assigning itself the same address. In that case, the selection in the Configure IPv4 menu will be either Manually or Using DHCP with manual address. This kind of conflict won't be resolved automatically. You have the following options to resolve it:
Change the menu selection to Using DHCP.
Change the manually-assigned address to one that isn't being used by another device.
Change the address of the other device.
Which of these options you should choose depends on the details of why you're using a static IP address. Any change you make to the network settings must be applied before it takes effect. To do that, click OK and then Apply.

  • Ip being used by another device? What does that mean?

An error message popped up saying another device has been using my ip address. What exactly does this mean, and how can I fix this? Please help.

Do you have another computer, iPhone/Pad/Pod? This is usually no problem.
Usually if you enable your router for Automatic (DHCP) IP address distribution, your device's IP address on your local area network will change without you knowing.

  • Your iCloud account is being used with another device (200+ iPads)

    Hello!
I work at a school and currently manage 200+ iPads, we use 1 iCloud account to keep a track of them, I have all backup services switched off and they purely use it for the 'find my iPad/phone' section on iCloud.
However, since iOS 8, a lot of these iPads display the message 'Your device is currently also being used on device studentiPad001' then when a student presses ok, it will pop up again with another iPad name it is being used on, it won't list all iPads that it is currently on but it will repeat this for at least 3-5 minutes.
I thought this would only happen the once after the update but it just picks random times to do it and random iPads, I will soon have to remove the iCloud account from the iPads as it is becoming a massive inconvenience.
Are there any other ways I can physically track the iPads or get rid of this notification?
    Thanks!

    Hello MrNeuf,
I would recommend releasing and renewing the IP lease on the affected computer. The following article provides further information and details the process of doing so.

  • Upgrade to LMS 4.2.5 - dmgtd.ext being used by another process

    I'm upgrading from LMS 4.2.4 to LMS 4.2.5 on a Window's system.
    The upgrade wizard starts and the prerequisites are met. It errors out with the following message;
"These files are currently being used by another running process. You must stop all processes listed below to proceed successfully with this installation.
    D:\CSCOpx\bin\dmgtd.exe"
The processes have stopped though. I ran the command "net stop crmdmgtd" and it returned "The Cisco Prime Daemon Manager service is not started."
So, does anyone know how to get the dmgtd.exe stopped so that I can proceed with the upgrade?
    Thanks,
    Mike S.

    Hi Mike,
After shutdown the LMS services (net stop crmdmgtd)
then Open the "task Manager" > Click on "Processes" and look for dmgtd.exe or dbsrv10.exe , sm_server or any other LMS services running  , I am sure there should be one . Kill it Manually from the Task Manager and run the installation again.
    Thanks-
    Afroz

  • Backup stopped before completing. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

I am working with a client who is attempting to backup to a NAS device
The device is a linksys NSS6000 (Cisco device).
It’s a dual 1Gbit LAN device that supports CIFS / FTP and NFS transfers. It has only 1Gbit lan connected.
The device has 4 *  500 gb sata drives in raid 1  attached.
Cables go from cat 5 to fiber back to cat5. (The NAS  is located at a neighboring office) The switches are 1gbit.
Server is a win2k8r1 fully up to date.
When backing up to the NAS device, the following error occurs:
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (86%).
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (90%).
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (94%).
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (98%).
Backup of volume Local Disk(D:) completed successfully.
    Backup stopped before completing.
    Summary of backup:
    Backup stopped before completing.
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
If we redirect the backup to a folder on a 2008 share, the backup completes successfully.
Only when backing up to the linksys NSS6000 does the error occur.
No other backup processes are writing to the NAS device so I can't understand why the process thinks the file is
    being used by another process.
One thing we did notice that when the backup to the NAS device occurs, throughput is about 150 mbit average
On the 2008 server shares we successfully backup to, the through put is 500 mbit.  Not sure if that is important, but
    might be worth mentioning.
The following event log entry was noted at the end of the backup.
The description for Event ID '519' in Source 'Microsoft-Windows-Backup' cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display the message,
or you may not have permission to access them.  The following information is part of the
    event:'2009-05-12T10:13:31.617Z', '', '2147942432', '%%2147942432'
    Any ideas?
    Thanks..Michael

I am also seeing the same problem backing up nightly to a brand new NAS device (WD My Book Live)
All the error codes are the same as those in this thread.
    From Windows Event Viewer:
The backup operation that started at '‎2011‎-‎03‎-‎25T06:00:19.811302700Z' has failed with following error code '2147942432' (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.). Please review the event details
for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved.

  • Move-item: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

    Hey,
I have a powershell script where I first use Get-childitem to receive a number of files.
Then I do some stuff with it and try to move the file afterwards.
Unfortunately if I am using a lot of files I receive very often the error:
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
Even -Force parameter does not help further.
Based on my look around it is not used by another process.
I think it is still 'in use' by powershell from script commands previously.
Is there any way to 'see' if the file is still in use currently and wait for this to end?
Or can I 'close' the current usage of the file?
    Thank you :)

    Hey,
    Thank you.
    I build the following function.
But either the $return = $true I receive "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." when I try to move-item... :(
    Function Wait-FileUnlock($FilePath){
    Write-Host " "
    $FileInfo = New-Object System.IO.FileInfo $($FilePath)
    DO{
    try{
    $fileStream = $fileInfo.Open([System.IO.FileMode]::Open, [System.IO.FileAccess]::Read, [System.IO.FileShare]::Read)
    $return = $true
    catch{
    Start-Sleep -Milliseconds 5
    Write-Host "." -NoNewline
    $return = $false
    While($return -ne $true)
    $Error
    return $return
    Another functions is:
    Function Wait-FileUnlock($FilePath){
    Write-Host " "
    DO{
    $Error.Clear()
    Rename-Item $FilePath $FilePath -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue | Out-Null
    Start-Sleep -Milliseconds 5
    Write-Host "." -NoNewline
    While($Error.Count -ne 0)
This one waits .. but it seems not to end waiting at any time :(
