I asked if I needed an Intel processor in order to play HD video smoothly, as stated in the iTunes player requirements.
What about the 64-bit version of Windows 7 running on a PC with a AMD Dual Core Athlon™ Neo X2 6850e, 8GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM, and a ATI Radeon HD 4330 with 512 MB of video memory.

You will be fine. Here are the Windows requirements relevant to your question:
1.) A PC with a 1GHz Intel or AMD processor -- you're good
2.) 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor is required to play HD video, an iTunes LP, or iTunes Extras from the iTunes Store -- You're good, if I'n not mistaken your AMD processor is faster than the 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
3.) 512MB of RAM; 1GB is required to play HD video, an iTunes LP, or iTunes Extras --- you're good
4.) DirectX 9.0-compatible video card with 32MB of video RAM; 64MB recommended -- more than good.
So, short story short: nothing to worry about!

Sorry! Can't believe it's 24th already! In reply to your query, I ordered the PDF to Word conversion file through the Adobe website. When I got my order confirmed by email, it called the programme a "manual", so I was expecting a hard copy! It took me a while to figure out your website, but now I've got my link, everything is working very well. The only criticism I have is that I have to sign in for each document I want to convert. I'm a maths teacher which requires amassing a lot of past papers at many levels within both the GCSE and the "A" level syllabuses!

How do I search for a previous question I posted?

How do I find older questions I had posted on the forum/community?
I had posted a question a few months prior and had a response. I'd like to look up that resonse again, but I cannot find it in my history.
The post is only a few months old, but does not show up in the history of my posts (that I can find).
How do I search for ALL of my old posts?

Click Your Stuff > DIscusssions. This should list all the threads you have contributed to, most recently active first, and paged back to your earliest post.
If you use the filter for Open Questions or Answered Questions you should see the threads that you started, still open and marked answered respectively.
If your thread really has disappeared then the usual explanation was that something contentious got added to it and the hosts deceived to evaporate the whole thing.

While writing I made a mistake... It is true I could become aware of the Scorpio incompatibility.
I also tried the same identical procedure with a Seagate one. This disk and the same procedure was performed by some people I know on many MacBookPro Mid-2010 and everything was OK.
We do not understand why this problenm occurs.
Furthermore, If I installed the system on the broken HDD (that works, but sometimes it fails so badly and makes the system experience kernel panic) I could boot from it.
I guess it is because of the **** Apple FIrmware written on the label.
Is it possible that I cannot manage to boot from my new HDD because it has not a "special" feature on it that makes it compatible with apple??? Why making things so **** difficult my god a closer world like Apple one is impossible to imagine.

The Mophie Air is a good battery case, but doesn't offer the protection she's looking for. I suggest sticking to the Lifeproof, the iPhone has a very good battery (2-3 days moderate usage for me).
To your 2nd to last paragraph, that is false. Verizon is allowing exisiting customers to keep Unlimited Data - but will lose it once they use a subsidized upgrade. So if you buy a 4S (or LTE device for example) outright, you will keep unlimited data. Mobile hotspot may use up a bit of data, but it is a separate add-on/feature. The new Family Share plans may change that, so it's one giant center of data all devices use.

I notice that you have several hundred lines of GUI code there. None of them have anything to do with the problem you are trying to solve. So put them all aside and write a SMALL test program that does nothing but the little loop you are having a problem with. Shouldn't be more than 20 lines of code.

Period and posting month

hi,
i need to manually post entry where document date and posting date in march and period in april. is that possible?
i tried to enter differently but system changes the period to same as posting month.
please advise.

If posting date is 09.04.2009 and your fiscal year is (March to April) your posting period is 1.
The system is doing the correct thing.
What you are doing is not possible.

I suppose you are modifying an entry document, this entry document has a document category (SPRO Environment, Health and Safety ->Waste management -> Disposal Processing -> Basic Settings for Disposal Processing -> Specify Document Categories -> Document Category/Functions Assignment), the document category may have assigned a status profile (the default for waste disposal management is EHS_WMM1).
With the status profile (SPRO - Environmental, Health & Safety -> Waste Management -> Disposal Processing -> Basic Settings for Disposal Processing -> Status Management -> Check, Extend, Set Status Profiles) you can see that has several status number, do double-click in any of these numbers and you will see other screen (Transaction Control), here you see what are you allowed or forbidden when your entry document has this status. You can see the avaliable trnsaction with the menu (Environment ->Transactions), waste management transactions starts with WA* and its description with WA-PRO:.
Back to the initial screen if you push the button 'Object Types' you go to 'Allowed Type Objects' the checkbox 'Waste Quantity' must be checked.

The new iMac is about 25% or so faster than your current iMac(comparable model would be the 3.1ghz version). There are a couple of things that you will benefit from such as the dual Thunderbolt/Mini Display ports/ which may help with multitasking. The video card in the new iMac again the comparable model being the 3.1ghz is a lotttttttt better than the current one that you have. So thinking of the long run those few things may be beneficial for you to upgrade(but it depends on what is important to you).
I had the 2.93ghz i7 version that I just bought in March this year and I turned around and sold it about a week before the new iMac's were announced. I got about $1600 for it, yeah I took a loss but to me it was worth it because my new iMac performs that much better. Now keep in mind I went from i7 to i7...3.4ghz i7 with the 2gb video card. Now I have dual thuderbolt/mini display ports. I have noticed significant gains in my video editing and also in my gaming. So to me it was definitely worth the upgrade!
One last thing, I would not have sold my 2.93 i7 and then bought the 3.1ghz i5, the big reason is because HT(hyper threading), it's only on the i7 model(3.4ghz)... If you take a look at some of the bench marks on engadget, maclife, macrumors, macworld, ****Barefeats.com(they really get into benchmarking)*** you will see charts that will help you make a better decision.
In closing I would say look into it, if you can get a good price out of your current iMac to put toward a new iMac then do it. Like others have mentioned to you, tech changes and Apple will change the tech in these machines next year or do a speed bump later this year or so. One last thing if you go from the 2.8 i5 up to the 3.4 i7, you would definitely see the difference (HT is a must especially for programs that utilize it. You can go to my youtube channel(mob1278) and take a look at my geekbench results.... my 2.93 i7 scored around 10500-11000(8gb ram)...my 3.4 i7 scores from 12700-13000 with 4gb ram....so yeah as you can see big difference. Basically the 3.4 i7 would perform similar or just under a 2.4ghz 8core 2010 Mac Pro which runs you about $3500 with no monitor.... it's your money spend it how you want....and Lion is only going to push it even more when it is released!

It's not bad for it - on this page www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html it says :
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
