Following iTunes update on my computer, I can no longer access or sync my ATV.

After installing the new version of iTunes, I can no longer access or sync my ATV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do the following settings for X-Box...
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...
Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
On the set-up tab change the MTU Size to 1365 and click Save Settings...
Click on "Administration" tab and disable UPnP and click Save Settings...
Click on "Applications and Gaming" tab and then click on "Port Range Forwarding" subtab...
1) On the first line in Application box type in ABC, in the start box type in 53 and End box type in 3074, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box, click Save Settings once done...
2) Once you return to the set up page click on the Security tab and uncheck Block Anonymous Internet Requests and click on Save Settings...
3) Click on set-up and change the MTU Size to 1452 and click Save Settings...Click on the Status tab and take note of DNS1 and DNS2 Addresses...
4) Goto the XBox Network Settings and IP Address Settings and select manual IP Settings and assign the following on your Xbox
IP Address :- 192.168.1.20, Subnet Mask :- 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway :- 192.168.1.1...
5) Also assign the DNS Addresses on the Xbox
Use DNS1 and DNS2 Addresses you took note off of the router status tab as Primary DNS & Secondary DNS for the xbox...
6) Turn off your modem, router, and Xbox...Wait for a minute...
7) Plug the modem power first, wait for another minute and plug the router power cable, wait another minute and turn on the Xbox and test it...it will connect...

    Since you have 5 authorized systems, I would suggest you do a "deauthorize all", then simply reauthorize only the systems you are currently using. You are allowed to do this under your account settings for the iTunes store & you can do a "deauthorize all" once per year.

    I have not got my mac that I had used to import a photo album to my iphone. I am now using a different computer, and when I plug phone in to do the usual de-selecting of photo's I wish to change that option is not available. My memory is full and deleting the imported album would free up a large amount of space, how can I do this?

    Would this delete my Camera Roll? As I do not want to loose photo's from there.
    I would back up my photo's to this computer but this is my work computer which I am leaving as of next week.

  • After update 5.4.1, I can no longer access TC from Finder sidebar

    Time Machine can backup just fine (and it seems improved), but now when I click on the icon of my Time Capsule in the Finder sidebar, I see "connecting...", but eventually the connection times out.
    Has anyone gotten this to work, or do I have to downgrade the firmware? Nice job, Apple!

    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.

    If I imported a CD into my iTunes library from one computer how can I listen to it from another computer?  I imported music from a CD into my compter at work and when I got home and went to my iTunes account none of the songs were in my library.  I also noticed that on my Work computer there were a couple songs that I had to click on the little 'cloud' icon before I could listen to them (these were not songs I imported they were songs that were already in my library).  Not sure if this makes semse...help.

    Only if you have iTunes Match or of the computers are on the same local network.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

    I know this scneario has been worked over a lot lately but I have not found anything that works.
    About 2 weeks ago my computer stopped recognizing my Ipod, after working perfectly for a year. iTunes updater or my computer can't find it though Ipod does show it is charging in the dock. I did the 4 of 5 Rs I could, changed the fire wire port & cable. I took the Ipod to the Apple Store, it worked perffectly on their Windows machine. I ran MSCONFIG diagnostics with all 3rd party startup items turned off except iTunes & Ipod services --no change. Then put the Ipod in disk mode & ran MSCONFIG again with all 3rd party startup items turned off including Ipod services & iTunses. My Computer still could not recognize that anything was plugged into the I drive (where it used to show up). Any suggestions?

    I've just deleted everything on my iPod so that the computer maybe would recognize it,it still doesnt and I don't know what the **** the proplem is,I am angry because I don't understand. Why the **** are these things supposed to be so great when after a couple of weeks they get some technical problem and then just don't want to co-operate. Before I deleted everything,there were some songs it didnt want to play and others it would play but somewhere out in the song it would stop and skip to the next song. It also would just all of a sudden restart itself without being any problem at all.     After updating to iTunes 10.5 on Windows Vista I have found that I can no longer access the iTunes store... I am left with a blank iTunes screen with the loading bar stuck at halfway..
    All other features seem to work... only opening  the iTunes store is failing..
    I have ran the diagnostics feature and this says everything is ok, so I'm a bit stuck

    The "netsh winsock reset" command worked like a charm for my machine (running Windows XP SP3).  I have had two weeks of frustration with this issue and finally found your post which got me back online with the iTunes store.  My problem accessing the iTunes store began once I downloaded and installed iTunes 10.5 in preparation to upgrade to OS5.  Once 10.5 was installed, I could open iTunes and access everything except the store (which prevented any of my devices from being able to sync). I followed all of the suggestions that I could find in Apple Support and the suggestions that I was emailed from Apple's support techs.  I unistalled all Apple software and reinstalled iTunes multiple times, and still could not access the store. 
    Your suggestion is the only "cure" that I have found.
    I thank you, my iPod thanks you, and my iPhone 4 thanks you for taking the time to post this fix.

  • Updated to 10.4.1 on Itunes and now can no longer access the actual Itunes store ...

    Now i have a bit more space, i can explain what is really properly wrong. The other day i updated my itunes to the 10.4.1 version and now can no longer access the Itunes store - whenever i try to do so i get the bar at the top gets to about half way then stops and nothing happens - on rare occasions however i am taken into a place that resembles the Itunes store but there is no detail and whenever i click on anything, NOTHING happens.
    Now on a SUPER RARE occasion i'll get a notice that the request was timed out?
    If ANYBODY can help me i'll be very grateful

  • I haven't been able to access the iTunes store for almost a year, having been knocked out after downloading an iTunes update. With the most recent update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts as well.

    To solve the iTunes store problem, I have tried the suggestions suggested by Apple on the website to no avail.  Since downloading the last iTunes update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts.  It tries to connect to tuning service, but the refreshing catagory list notice never stops and connection is never made.  No store connection and no classical radio connection--What will I loose with the next update?  I'm not a computer person and don'y know what to do!  Help would be much appreciated.  Thank you!
