Bueno, ya que este es el foro "otros temas" (me imagino que valdrá también cómo offtopic), propongo este hilo para que los que usamos photoshop compartamos nuestros fondos de escritorio o creaciones varias hechas con photoshop, para que se vea que resultados da y para compartir impresiones, consejos, sugerencias ect, siempre puede ser didáctico y aumentar la participación :-D
Os pongo aquí unos cuantos de mi cosecha. Cómo veréis están bastante personalizados porque están adaptados a la estructura de mi escritorio, por lo que siempre hay un espacio de 60px técnicamente "pensado para no verse" en la parte de abajo, y la imagen principal siempre está a la izquierda.
Se admiten críticas pero no seáis demasiado duros conmigo que soy muy sensible y me deprimo X-DDDDD

Te felicito por tu iniciativa, desde hace tiempo he creido q ue hace falta ponerle un poco de picante a las cosas, y una de esas es que los demas usuarios den "criticas constructivas" de nuestros trabajos, eso lo hacen mucho en el foro de diseño en ingles.
Bueno por el tipo de trabajo debes ser una persona bastante joven!!!, yo estoy suscrito a otro foro en Venezuela donde la gran mayoria de los trabajos que los usuarios hacen son firmas para los foros y correo electronico. Sabes cuando inicie mi carrera como "freelance" para matar el tiempo en el cual no tenia trabajo, trabaje mucho haciendo "vectorizaciones de anime japones" en Illustrator, me ayudo mucho a soltar la mano y si me fajo aun puedo hacer una que otra ilustracion. Veo que todo son composiciones de imagenes, me gusto la ultima pero soy de los que siempre les gusta que todo tenga el mismo estilo, te das cuenta que la imagen del personaje difiere en estilo de los edificios, a mi gusto hubiera quedado bien que todo fuera lineal. Pero tienes en este wallpaper un buen uso de las degradaciones.
El primero me parecio muy simple en realidad creo que se puede hacer algo con mas malicia. Waoooo que buena la imagen del dragon, pero creo que podias dar un toque mas japones a la ilustracion.
Y la penultima son bien buenos los colores. pero las ilustraciones no tienen el mismo estilo.
Bueno sigue practicando, la practica hace al maestro, mientras mas te dediques a trabajar seras un mejor profesional.

Se cuelga al cambiar fondo escritorio en macbook

Buenas tardes,
hace dias que intento cambiar mi fondo de escritorio pero cuando entro en preferencias de sistema, escritorio y salvapantallas no se cargan las imagenes y me aparece un circulo de colores en movimiento sin haber ningun cambio. He borrado todas las imagenes del ordenador porque habia leido que podria tener un archivo corrupto pero no hay manera de hacerlo, ni a traves de internet escogiendo una imagen al azar. Alguna solucion? No se que hacer!!
PD: Soy nueva en apple.. si alguien sugiere algo que especifique muy bien porfa.. Gracias

Desafortunadamente, para solucionar este problema, necesita una explicación detallada de los pasos a seguir porque tiene que eliminar archivos del sistema y abrir carpetas ocultas.
Lo primero de todo es abrir una ventana de Finder pulsando el icono de Finder en el Dock (la barra en la parte inferior de la pantalla).
Después, para simplificar los pasos, abra el menú Ir (en la parte superior de la pantalla), mantenga pulsada la tecla Alt y verá una opción llamada "Biblioteca" en el menú Ir. Selecciónela.
Finalmente, en esa carpeta, busque la carpeta "Preferences" y haga doble clic en ella para abrirla. En esa carpeta, elimine los archivos "com.apple.desktop.plist" y "com.apple.systempreferences.plist", y reinicie

Veía perfectamente el mac en la tv y ahora veo el escritorio pero sin mis propiedaes y no veo video

No sé si estoy en el foro correcto, hasta hoy veía perfectamente el Mac en el TV, ahora conecta pero de fondo de pantalla no está mi escritorio, ni se ven los programas, parece una conexión standar, no sé si me explico no consigo que aparezca lo que veo en mi portátil aunque conecta e incluso puedo mover los escritorios. A mi me acaba de pasar lo mismo con mi Mac Book Pro 2011. Yo la compre en Mayo del 2012, eso quiere decir que me duró únicamente 2 años y 5 meses ya que me empezó a fallar este viernes 24 de octubre. Me paso lo de las rallas en toda la pantalla y lo que se parte en 2. Y junto con todo esto me di cuenta que no soy la única, sino que hay demasiada gente que le ha pasado lo mismo que a mi. Ya levanté mi queja con Apple y espero que hagan algo acerca de esto.
Ya firmé tambien la petición en change org, ojala y tambien sirva de algo,

HP Envy trackpad issues

Hi, I hope this problem can be fixed without having to return my laptop. I bought an HP Envy about a week ago and I've been having issues with the touchpad/trackpad or whatever you'd like to call it. My product number is E1P04AAR. The touchpad just simply doesn't behave. It's not precise, it rarely lets me right click, sometimes only clicking it works and sometimes only tapping it works. It jumps around sometimes for no reason at all. This is really bothering me and I hope someone could please help me out or tell me what to do. Thank you.

Maybe "Adjusting TouchPad or ClickPad pointing sensitivities in Windows 8", "Turning all TouchPad gestures off and on in Windows 8" and "Troubleshooting when TouchPad does not work in Windows 8" will have useful steps to try from this document: Using and Troubleshooting the TouchPad or ClickPad (Windows 8)

HP AiO Remote app will not recognize scan and copy function of HP Envy 120

Good morning! HP AiO Remote App is installed on my iPad4 and in the same WiFi network with my HP Envy 120 printer. The printer is recognized by the app and marked with a green led. When I tap on scan or copy in the app menu, it tells me that these functions were available in the app only for printers which provide these features. But HP Envy 120 has both scanner and copier. And last time it worked. Some idea what could have happened here? Thanks. UJ

Hi UJKarl, welcome to the HP Forums. You should be able to scan from the HP AIO Remote App on your Envy 120 printer. You probably just need to power cycle the printer, iPad and router to regain proper function.
Turn off your printer with the power button. Power down the iPad by holding the sleep button down until you get the option to 'slide to power off'. Then disconnect the power cord to your router and count to about 10, and then plug it back in. Once the router comes back online, turn the printer on. When the printer comes back online (blue wi-fi light stops blinking), then power the iPad back up. Try again, and it should work.

Is it possible to upgrade/add a graphics card to a Hp Envy dv7 dv7-7243cl laptop

I've been doing a lot of research lately, to mostly no avail, about whether or not my HP Envy dv7 dv7-7243c laptop can have a dedicated GPU added to it, as currently it only has the integrated Intel HD 4000 Mobile graphics card.
Mostly I've come across the unfortunate agreement that most laptops cannot have their graphics cards upgraded/swapped out, since the graphics card is soldered on to the motherboard. However, after talking to an HP "support representative", they said they believed it was possible to add a graphics card, as long as it is compatible with the Motherboard my computer has.
Furthermore, after finding the maitenence and service manual online for my computer ( http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03221579.pdf ) it says that it could have come with switchable graphics, specifically the Nvidia Geforce 630M or 650M.
So I am wondering, is it really at all possible to add a dedicated graphics card, either by having switchable graphics or something else? Or am I stuck with the integrated Intel HD graphics?
If I can upgrade/add a new card, where would I be able to find/buy a compatible one, and would I be able to install it myself or would I need to go to a local computer repair?
My laptop is the HP Envy dv7 dv7-7243cl Entertainment Notebook.
It has an Intel Core i7- 3630QM CPU @ 2.40 GHz, 12 GB memory, 150 GB SSD hard drive, 1 TB hard drive (5400 rpm).
I am currently running Windows 8.1 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit).

I am not a PC repair tech by trade or training.
Other than the replacement motherboard, and fan and heatsink combination, I wouldn't know if any other parts are required.
The parts you need are listed in chapter 3 of the service manual with the part numbers.
I also don't know if the boards come with the windows 8 product key included in the BIOS.
There may be multiple motherboards listed, so make sure you get the right one.
Same for the fan and heatsink.

Blue Screen of Death and USB malfunctions on HP Envy running Windows 7

Hello.
I have an HP Envy 14 notebook PC. It's running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, version 6.1.7601. When I run it, I eventually starts getting an error message from the right of the desktop toolbar telling me that a USB device I plugged in is malfunctioning and did not get installed correctly. This is happening while my USB ports are empty.
As this is happening, the computer also starts playing background static that you can hear over headphones as well. This sound goes away once you mute the machine. After plugging the computer into a monitor to play sound through its speakers, there is also a curious effect; after I remove all the cords and plug in earphones, I hear amplified booming sounds from small movements, rather than what is meant to be playing. This latter effect goes away once I restart the computer,
Eventually, the computer displays a blue screen and crashes. The blue screen asks me to disable BIOS memory options such as caching and shadowing. Once the machine restarts, it informs gives me the following report:

It also gives me the option to check for solutions. Doing so closes the screen and gives no further information. Please advise as to how to address these issues.

I have the same issue you have had. This happend to my old hp, I thought it was a fluke so when I bought my new hp envy a year ago I was dumbfounded to see that its happening all over again. This time my hp envy 14 is doing the same thing yours did with the same code and all. Can you please tell me what you did to fix this or were you even able to fix it at all?

Wireless printing problem with HP Envy all-in-one 110 when running Mac OS 10.7

I just bought the HP Envy all-in-one 110. I have a Macbook Air running IS 10.7. I managed to install the software correctly and the wirless network light is showing on the printer. I ran a test page from the printer and all the settings say they are "enabled." But I still can't get the printer to print over the wireless network. When I plugged in a USB cable, I managed to get it to print. I have a wireless router running over the Sonic.net DSL network. Network strength is good. I've switched off and restarted all equipment several times but still no results. Help!

I believe the router may not support Multicasting, a network protocol used for Apple's Bonjour service to operate as it should.
Will be helpful to know the exact router brand and model.
As a workaroung, you may try setting the printer by using standard IP, it should allow you to print, however the router issue (more likely) have to be handled first to allow the full software functionality including scanning.
Follow the steps below to set an IP print queue, it will also help to better understand the cause for the problem:
Enter System Preferences > Print & Scan.
Click the plus sign.
Click the IP icon.
Select the HP Jetdirect Socket protocol.
Enter the printer IP address into the Address field
Now try printing using the newly created print queue, listed as the printer IP address.

Envy 100 eAll-in-One D410a (US) doesn't work with cartridge HP300 (Europe)

Hi all,
I bought a HP Envy 100 eAll-in-One (CN517A) D410A in 2011 when I was living in the US. I always used HP60 cartridges without any problems while in the US.
In 2013 I was relocated to Europe (Luxembourg), and recently my last supply of US-bought HP60 cartridges run out, so I went out to buy new ones. HP60 is not available where I live, so I bought HP300 which explicitly says on the box that it is suited for "HP ENVY ENVY100 D410a". However, when I put them in the printer I get a "The cartridges listed above are not intended for use in this printer as it is currently configured." error on the printer.
I tried the eight solutions as explained here:

None worked. I put back in my old HP60 cartridges and did no longer get the error message and I can print (but poorly because these cartridges are almost empty).
Could it be that the HP300, by design, does not work with the US-built printer that I have even though the HP300 packaging box clearly says it should? Is there a way to make it work (firmware update?), or do I need to either buy HP60s from the US or get a new printer here in Europe?
Any clues or pointers to a possible solution would be greatly appreciated!

Can I install a 2nd hard drives to an HP Envy Dv7-7212nr unit

I just purchest a HP Envy Dv7-7212nr and the specs states there is 2 hard drive bays, When I opened the compartment were there the drives gose the secound bay has no connecter for the secound hard drive. can i purchase the connecter?

Estou implantando a versão 3.10 em um sistema SAP de contingência ONDE SE ENVIA PARA SEFAZ VIA PROGRAMA Z (o sistema foi comprado para funcionar assim.) Gostaria de saber por favor como é preenchido o campo IND_IEDEST para envio na Sefaz pois estou tendo erro neste .
Queria saber como é a regra para pessoa física e juridica.
Quando é 1 ou 2 ou 9.

1=Contribuinte ICMS (informar a IE do destinatário);
2=Contribuinte isento de Inscrição no cadastro de Contribuintes do ICMS;
9=Não Contribuinte, que pode ou não possuir Inscrição Estadual no Cadastro de Contribuintes do ICMS;

Envy 15-j119tx smart hard drive detects imminent failure two separate notebooks

Last week I bought an Envy 15-j119tx from a retailer, and every time I restarted it I would get an error message telling me that the smart hard drive detects an imminent failure. From my google search I found that I pretty much need to replace the hard drive. So I took the laptop back to the retailer and they apologised and gave me another one today. This one also has the same error, so I am really confused, is this a problem with this model or what?

Maybe that retailer had 800 pound gorillas stocking the shelves with laptops. I would bet if you installed a new drive it would be fine. It is also not impossible HP got a batch of bad drives and laptops shipped to the same retailer probably came off the assembly line together. I would take it back one more time and insist to start it up before you take the new one out of the store this time.
