Font dimensions in Folder Tab

Please, turn off automatic font dimension in the Folder Tab, or at least add the option. Sometime part of the name for 2 or more folders is the same: I like to see those parts perfectly aligned.

Gone... only for some folders, some other with shorter/longer names will be affected.
It seems as if the name of the folder is within certain tolerances Adobe wants to show it all...

Neither would I. Just very annoying... I like to see things with the same length lined up.
Anyway I'm already using the max possible width for the column... Adobe, please, not enough, for my taste.

Fonts in the Folder panel

Is there anyway to enlarge the fonts in the folder panel? Favorites is a good size but the folders are very small for viewing.

No, you can't.
a few options:
Leave a feature request for this option in the Feature section of this forum, the more the get them the sooner there might be an option for it in the next version
use capitals for your foldernames in the finder (indeed a little odd but it helps)
the more pixels you have for screen resolution the smaller the fonts get, but you need a sharp image on the other hand so this is not really an option.
and last (without being funny because I have done so myself) if you have trouble reading it try reading glasses or computer glasses, that helped me a lot :-)

Push Buttons, Radio Buttons, Folder Tabs

Could someone please let me in on the secret to selecting
background colors for push-buttons, radio-buttons and folder
tabs. I've tried the obvious properties with no luck.
I am developing on a Windows NT 4.0 platform using Developer
6.0. I will be releasing my app to the web soon and could
really use some help.
Ideally, I would like to be able to select any color ( i.e. to
match the background color of the canvas ), but so far the only
choices seem to be black, white or a couple of other non-
desirable colors ( bright red, green, yellow, yuck! ). Is a
custom color palette the ticket?
I realize that many button properties are controlled by Windows.
If this is the case, are there any work-arounds? When I
distribute the application, will I be able to offer my customers
the ability to configure Windows to correctly define the button
colors?
I am sure that others have these same questions. I have not
been able to find any answers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
1. Disabling Push button.
    In PBO loop at sccreen and check the field name is equal to push button name
    set screen-input = 0.
    modify screen.
    endloop.
2.assign a function code to radio button in screen element it will trigger the PAI.
In PAI during loop at table control check the field value is equal to 'X'.then not down the roqw number and in PBO enable the button based on the row number by looping at screen.
3Assign the fcode to push button.Once the user presses the button in PAI check the focde and see for which line it is pressed based on it call the pop up screen using FM or dialog box.

Authorization at Folder Tab level

Hello Experts
I have design a form which has lots of folder tabs , but now i want authorization at folder tab level, so that only authorized user has access to those tab, while unauthorize user is not able to see content inside the tab
ex
user1 - Full authorization
user2 - No authorization on tab level

Yes u can write a small logic like that, for a specific user some folders will not be avaliable, for that i suggest u create a new UDT with some cols like user name, and folder item UID to restrict, so that the end user admin can update this table with the required folder item ID and user code as the users can change in the future,
So u can have a logic like
If loggedInUser = restrictedUser Then
msgbox("Not authorized to view this information")
bubbleevent = false
End If
U need to execute this logic in the item click event.

New Folder tabs not highlighted

I added new tabs with new controls to the Sales Order document using the SDK 6.5
On the item click of the folder item I set the PaneLevel of the form. The folder tab gets highlighted and the pane is visible.
But this works only for the first two new folders.
The following folder tabs are NOT highlighted, but the PaneLevel is set correctly and the pane is displayed correctly too.
Why are the other folder tabs not highlighted?
I tried to use the Select method but it crashed SBO.
I would appreciate any ideas/help.

My email settings are messed up. The INBOX and NEW FOLDER tabs are on top of each other so that I cannot open a new folder.

The INBOX tab and the NEW FOLDER tab are entangled and are sitting one on top of the other so it's impossible to create a new email folder.

I am hoping it is just that you are doubleclicking the star too quickly.

Maximum number of Folder tabs??

Is there a maximum number of folder tabs you can have on a form? If I add 12 folders to a form (and open the form in B1), I am not able to click on any of the folder tabs past the 9th folder.
To see what I mean, open the ComplexForm sample project. In the "Adding Folder Items" section, change the number of loop iterations to 10 (or higher). Then try to click on that 10th form when you run the project.

I'm currently having the exact same problem with using more than 9 folders.
I've managed to create a new set of folders so that when clicked they now look as if they are selected however as they are not grouped with the other folders when clicked the selected folder from the other group of folders doesn't deselect. Another problem I've got is positioning the new folders so it looks as if they are in the same group as the others as currently I can place them in the correct left position however you can see where they overlap.

Accessing server under the Folder Tab

I have some users who are on a PC using CS3, CS4 and CS5. They are all having the same issue. When they access the Mac server (which houses our image database) it does not appear in their listing under the Folder Tab. Now they have other servers that show up, but not this one.
Oddly enough, sometimes it does show up but most of the time it doesn't. We've gone through and mapped a network drive - no luck.
Any suggestions?

If you reboot Bridge does the server show?
If so, you probably have "start Bridge at login" checked. Bridge starts before the computer recognizes the server.

Firefox seems to be using a font that isn't working properly.

When i inter to options and set the font in the content tab to larger number like 20 or another number and click ok it not respond and the font stell as it is what i can do for solving that problem ?

Click on the text in the menu so that you see the bounding box around it. Look to the right of the Movie Menu customization workspace, Adjustments Palette, Text and edit your text font style and size.
In this screenshot, "Glass Flowers" text in the main menu is selected and its Adjustments Palette Text editing opportunities are shown. To do comparable editing in the scene menu, click on the scene menu in the bin to bring its image up to the screen.

Dreamweavwr CS6 Mac no Image Dimensions in Assets tab?

I have a imac with mavericks. I have a file open. I let it sit open for over an hour. I have restarted it a few times. Still no image dimensions. The size and file name appear though.

In mine, the dimensions show. You probably need to scroll the window horizontally to see the tab, you can then resize it by grabbing the line between the Name and Dimensions tabs and sliding it over..
EDIT: OP, I'm on Windows7, so I don't have any info for you unfortunately. Maybe try rebuilding the site cache from the Files window's menu, or clearing the program cache:http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494811

Is there any way to change the font of the sheet tabs?

Does anyone know of a way to format the sheet tab font? Right now it looks like the old Marker font used in the note app. It is very difficult for me to see. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While looking at such a tab, click View > Show Path Bar from Finder's menu. The information you are requesting will be displayed at the bottom of the window.
