Font/icon problems? (iTunes 10)

I recently installed iTunes 10 and it seems like I'm having problems with my fonts and icons in the program. When I plug in my iPhone (iPhone 4 with 4.0.1 or 2 or whatever the newest is) all of the headline type in the iPhone window are chopped of and all I can see are the bottoms of the letters (barely). Same goes for the Genius window, all of the playlist titles are cut off the same way.
I also noticed that the icons for the Genius window are hhuuggee to the point that when I hover over a genius playlist in the window and the circle with the play arrow shows up, all that you can see is the bottom right corner of the icon.
Anyone else having this problem and/or know how to fix it?

I'm having the same problem. I visited the Genius Bar at an Apple Store to find out what is going on and they weren't much help. (Isn't that what they're for?!?!) After figuring out that it only occurred when an iPhone and their iTouch was hooked up and they uninstalled and reinstalled itunes (and all it's components), they said it looked like a font issue.
After googling "iTunes font problems" I'm seeing this is not the only time iTunes has had font problems. I'm curious if they will fix this flaw.

Itunes Store fonts/icons are getting bigger

Hi,
Just found out this morning that fonts/icons in iTunes Store are getting bigger. I found no way how to change the size. Have spent hours for googling but with no luck. I know that store is actually a browser, but when I checked Firefox, Safari, nothing show the same size of icons/fonts.

Try a reset, press and hold both the home and power buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. Check apps.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I got IOS7 on my iPhone 5 but do not have iTunes Radio, i know its located in the music app but i do not have a icon for iTunes Radio. Help!?

I just got IOS7 last night and couldnt figure out how to get ITunes Radio, i found out it was in the music app but i have no icon showing iTunes Radio. How can i find it!? Or get it!?

I was looking for it too and apparently it's only avalible in the US. Not sure where you live, but this could be the problem. It was for me.

ITunes 9.2 update made all my icons into iTunes ones

First thank you for taking the time to read my post and maybe you could help me =)
So I updated iTunes to 9.2 version this morning in order to upgrade my iPhone to ios4.
After that my old iTunes icon became blank so I right-clicked on it to assign it on iTunes.exe again.
I was so not inspired ! That action made all my icons become iTunes icons. All exe icons on my desktop, in my folder... are now iTunes icons.
I tried everything. Run anti-virus (no one detected), uninstall, reinstall iTunes...
The only way I can retrieve my old icons is to uninstall iTunes. But as soon that I reinstall iTunes, all my icons turn into the dark side of iTunes again...
I am kind of desperate. How can I sync my iPhone from now on?
Did anyone had this problem?
What should I do?

Same problem here, on a WinXP-Pro sp 2 box, Pentium 4 custom box with a Radeon 9800 graphics card. Happy to track down DLL versions or generate logs if anyone knows anything that might help troubleshoot this...

All I get is usb icon with iTunes icon on iphone5-.

Posted earlier, but brand new iphone5 is locked,unresponsive. Have tried everything including trying to restore from itunes. Regardless, all I ever get on iphone is the uSB icon/with itunes icon (like it is asking you to connect to pc). I have tried windows, mac machines plus different USB cable still no luck. Is there anyway I can unbrick my phone?

FWIW/Hopefully might help someone else..... our issue was hardware related and after visit to genius bar left w/ new iphone 5.
On a seperate note..... VERY impressed with Apple/Genius Bar at my local store. Within 15 minutes had problem identified and on our way w/new phone.

I'm not sure why this would happen. But I think I did see another post a week or two ago about this. Have you tried rebooting your computer and resetting your iPad.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

My latest OS upgrade (to 6.1.3) resulted in loss of all music on the iPhone. It is still on my computer intact, but cannot get it back on the phone. If I click on music under the iPhone icon in iTunes, it shows me only voice memos. Help!

From the requirements point of view, you can happily move to iOS 6. From the user tranquility pov, it's a crapshoot. Remember that MILLIONS of iDevices have been sold, a couple of those just this past Xmas season and hence all with iOS 6 preinstalled. "Many complain in the forums" is a number that ranges in the 10's or 100's: i.e., a minuscule amount of the total devices out there. And. of course, nobody comes here to gush excitedly about how well his iGadget works; everybody here (save those of us regular users who attempt to help, we're not Apple employees) has a gripe, grumble or complaint.
I can tell you from personal experience that my i5 with iOS 6.1.4 works as desired. All my colleagues' iPhones with iOS 6 work as expected. And we have a particularly flaky Wi-Fi environment thanks to our less than stellar netadmins.
But in the end, it is entirely up to you. Will you bite the bullet, or wait some more? Check the new stuff that came with iOS 6 and decide whether or not to risk it.

Can you help me with FontExplorer font activation problems?

Anyone know how to solve a font activation problem I am having with FontExplorer 4.2? I am on a new mac with new fonts, I am using Maverick with Adobe CS6. With my new mac I bought the latest version of FontExporer Pro X 4.2. This program is having trouble with font activation in all my Adoble suite apps including Indesign. Here is what I am seeing:
1. The font activates, but the Adobe app does not recognize that it is active. If I go back to Font Explorer and deactivate manually, then re-activate manually. The adobe app might then recognize it. Sometimes it still doesn't. But this does not stay permanently, as soon as I do a restart I have to go through this process again. I see this more often with the User system fonts, but a few times with my regular fonts.
2. Other times, such as in Indesign, I go to open the file and the file stalls and doesn’t progress while it is trying to activate the fonts.
3. Another time I have seen after an illustrator file is opened the fonts aren't recognized as being opened and the text goes blank on the page.
4. In all adobe apps, if I go to use "replace font" on the missing fonts (even though they are turned on) the "replace font" menu only shows the basic system fonts, it won't show me the other fonts turned on.
I have seen these issues with both formerly created files and fresh new files.
I have tried the following based on feedback from Font Explorer staff:
Refresh your Spotlight database
1. Quit all applications other than FontExplorer X
2. Choose Tools > Refresh Spotlight Database
Clean your font caches
1. Quit all applications other than FontExplorer X 2. Choose Tools > Clean Application Font Caches (check all available checkboxes)
3. Choose Tools > Clean System Font Caches (requires restart)
Still after trying this multiple times, the errors continue and even get more random.
I have also tried this based on their feedback:
go to FONTEXPLORER X PRO -> PREFERENCES -> ADVANCED and make sure that "Automatically deactivate fonts which have not been activated by the system" is NOT set to never.
Then click on TOOLS and clean all font caches. Then reboot the system.
The auto-activation is using a new Apple technology (called Core Text), which unfortunately does not work correctly with some of the Adobe and Quark applications when keeping the fonts permanently activated. We are currently working on an update, and the next version of FontExplorer X Pro will fix this issue.
This has also not work. Can anyone help me?

Here is the official work-around for this problem.
1. Locate "FontExplorer X Pro.app" in Applications
2. Right-click on "FontExplorer X Pro.app" and select "Show Package Contents"
3. Navigate to /Contents/Helpers/
4. Double-click "FontExplorerXLauncher-3.app" or right-click and "Open" to launch it manually. This is needed only once, afterwards the plugins will work normally.
Please make sure you open the version with the "-3" suffix, the other one does not fix the problem.

After updating to iOS 7 there is no app store icon or iTunes icon on my iPhone 4s.

I recently updated to iOS 7 and a few days leter I realise there is no appstore icon or iTunes icon.
I searched for them in spotlight but they were not there.
I even asked siri to open appstore but it said "you don't seem to have an app named appstore"
I use an iPhone 4s.

Figured it out. I couldn't find mine anywhere! But apperantly I had turned it af in restrictions. When I turned it back on the app was back!

Many thanks for your help on this. The instructions provided with the tv box were typically difficult to follow perhaps because Apple try to cover all languages etc. I also found the control on my iPad that pulls from the bottom of the screen and allows the iPad to control the tv. Is there a way to change the font in Itunes?

I've now found several ways to do this, but they're of no use to me because I lack the technical knowledge/skills. However, I think I could do what this one says, if i could get the printed copy, or if I could slow down the video/audio. Anyway, for those more capable, here's a link to the YouTube video.

Take an XML-Editor and open:

What info do you want to transfer and from which app(s) ? If it's contents/files of apps then for some it'll be via the File Sharing section at the device's apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, other apps may have wifi functionality so you can transfer files to/from your computer via your wifi network.
