Font in call list as well as individual phone details is too small. I have increased contacts but it seems impossible to increase phone caller list and individual info details of contacts ?
Is it a way to increase from iphone 5 the phone caller list and individual info details of the contacts? I can increase font for Contacts but not for the caller list nor individual info details of contacts.
No JG9, no remedy yet. Still hoping.
I'm wondering if we should ask help from RIM instead of other users, as this is obviously glitch of the device, not tips ans tricks we want to learn.

I "updated" my iPhone4S 16gig this morning and can't get past the "Rescue Email" screen. I entered emails as well as opted out. I have gone back, but Apple ID Security insists I add security questions and mail. HELP!
Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. What caused you to get the impression that I was writing something else? furthermore this sentence - "The solution you described in your initial message isn't actually once since all the time you were operating on different account that weren't actually linked" does not make sense, I think you mis-edited it.and I need to point out that you are incorrect. Chrome is very resource intensive.
It is possible you are running other memory intensive apps.
You have a lot of 3rd party additions loaded at boot time. Do you really need all of them? Even after you get rid of MacCleaner (as suggested by rkaufmann87).
Do you really need the seagate and WD drive software? The Mac is fairly good at accessing disks without 3rd party intervention.
Any of the 3rd party additions listed by EtreCheck that you do not need, you should consider uninstalling.

I have spent hours trolling through help lines to change the font from minature text which I cannot see on my new 27" screen. Why does something so simple have to be so complicated ???this computer is supposed to be the be all to end all..just setting it up with printer , router etc has been a nightmare as the print is so small I need to have my eyes 2 inches from the screen to read anything ..What have they done ?
Not an ideal solution, but some users change the setting in: System Preferences>Displays, select the Scaled button and choose another resolution.
If you are within 14 days of purchased you can return the computer for a refund if you dislike it that much as Apple do have a good returns policy (so long as you purchased from Apple and not a reseller). -

I entered someone in my contacts but they do not show up in my list.
They do show up when they call and text me. I cannot access the contact from my list even when I search for them and have turned on the function to show contacts from all sources. When I type in the number manually their name shows up. Since I cannot access the contact, I cannot delete them to try and re-enter them. The only solutions I have found to accessing them is to add them to my favorites from the recent phone calls list and to search for the text convo i have with them by swiping to the left. Is there another solution for this?

In Contacts, check if you have created Contact Groups before. To check this, a button Group will show on top left corner in Contacts. If you have this button, tap it and check if all groups are marked.
Check if Restrictions are turned off.
If your device is new, try to remember if you have imported your contacts from SIM Card. If not, go to Settings >> Email, Contacts, Calendars>> Import Contacts from SIM Card.
You said the contact are show up when they text you. So, tap in the contact message to see his/her message. Swipe to the top and tap "Contact". It will show you all the information saved in your device (name, phone number, email address, etc). So, your contact is really saved somewhere in your device. You also can edit this contact here, tapping Edit button.

MY IPHONE 4 which has been working perfectly well has developed a fault on calls.
It will make calls OK and they can hear me perfectly but I CANNOT HEAR THEM AT ALL.
I have checked all the settings and cannot see anything wrong, can anyone help please!!Thanks for answering me. I tried what the help page said but still no luck. My son jut told me that his phone (same as mine) did the same thing and then resolved a little while later. I guess I might just have to wait and see.

Font Size from Desktop 4.1 to 4.1.4 is Too Small--can it be changed.
I notice that when I upgraded from Desktop 4.1 to Desktop 4.1.4 that the font size for memos, calendar, contacts, .etc is considerably smaller than it was in DT 4.1.
I've seen some posts here that seem to suggest that there is NO way to change the font size of Palm Desktop for the Palm III class of PDA's.
I suppose Palm thought they were doing us a favor by decreasing the font size and allowing more viewable text on screen BUT actually it's just another source of eye strain.
Anyone found a work around for this before I roll back to Desktop 4.1?--'cause I'm sure not about to change my system default font size or resolution to accommodate this new "feature".

I have always imported my cds (including books) into iTunes using one step called "join cd tracks" which is under the "Advanced" menu. Never a problem. But today I was importing a 10 disc book and on the 7th disc all of a sudden the choice to join cd tracks was greyed out. I have tried it with other discs. No luck. How can I get to this option again. I was not doing anything different so don't know what took away this choice. Can anyone help me?

after further days of trying finally, solved it for me Yesterday.
turned off notifications when locked, and bingo, wow.
i have not turned off iCloud but location services are also off.
best thing to do I found was keep checking your usage, settings, general, usage, and flip down to bottom, if the standby and usage are similar there is a problem, if there is a big difference then all is ok. Just keep turning things off and on until the difference is very apparent.
something on my phone was keeping the phone alive even when turned off, and I think this was the phone repeatedly trying to update continually.
to me this is definitely down to the iOS, my wife has exactly same phone and iOS but hers doesn't have any problem and the battery lasts for days.
the guy at the Genius Bar told me to restore the phone via iTunes, not iCloud. This is because iCloud remembers the exact info from your phone and simply reinstates it when you restore, and this includes the iOS too.
when I get home from holidays that's what I'll do, or wait for iOS 8 in few weeks. But I'm so pleased I finally made it work, I was beginning to think ditch the phone and buy Samsung.
