Font in print out of smartform

Hi All,
I have uploaded a font and it is maintained in both Font & Printer Family. I have created a STYLE for the font and using the same in my Smartform.
When i see the preview of the Smartform, the font is displayed large + Bold ( as per our requirement).
But when i take a print out, a small size font is printed.
Any pointers for the same would be helpful.
Ps. : The font is printed correctly when logged on with EN language but when logged on with JA language then it doesnt print correctly though it displays correctly in print preview.

Hi,
The settings mentioned by Kishan are already in place. Still it doesnt give the desired output.
Also, this is a new Form created in English language.
I have tried the existing fonts as well as uploading fonts, but still no +ve results.
Also, could someone please explain, why the font through STYLE can be entered only of max size 99.00. But in PRINTER the font for 120,160 is also maintained.

Font for Print out and Print Preview

Hi all,
I am working in SAP R/3 4.6C and using SmartForm.I have a trouble :
I uploaded Arial Font into System Font and Printer Font and i want to use this font for print out and print preview.But this font is only applied for print out and the print preview uses still Courier Font not Arial as I want.
So, anybody tell me why and give some idea to solve this problem.

There is no arial font option in 4.6..but it 4.6 scriptforms arial option is there,but it will not work..it will give some other font...
Mainly 4.6 version does not support ARAIL font..
4.6 does not support all the fonts which are avilable in MS-WORD..only few fonts are uploaded into SAP 4.6 syatem...this is the problem

GD&T font symbols print out jibberish

I am using Acrobat 8 , when I print MS doc file with GD&T font symbols; the PDF prints out jibberish

Ok, unfortunately, since it isn't Distiller Server, it isn't for use on a server. Sorry not to have better news. Adobe's LiveCycle PDF Generator is their PDF creator licensed for server use.
Still may be worth understanding the problem as PDF Generator may have the same issue. Does the created PDF show gibberish? Are you embedding the font?

Missing fonts on print out

Hey
Can someone confirm if it is possible to print the following characters or is it a case that Designer\Server can not handle these correctly. I have the font cartridge and symbolsets set up correctly. Even if you try copy them into a text box in designer it tries to substitute them so that is what raised the question if they can be handled correctly.

1 Have the fonts been embedded when the pdf was made?
2. Fontexplorer caused too many problems when I upgraded to 10.5.2 with quark 7.0 so I had to disgard it.
3. Are you printing through a postscript printer? or not.
I have some fonts that will print through a kinolta minolta fine but come out as you described when put through a OKi 5600.
Can you highlight all your text in reader 8>0 and convert to outlines. It might tell you fonts not embedded, not sure if you can do this with reader as I use Professional with pitstop.

In SAP Utilities , i have to develop a smartform for Dunning letters.
can any one tell me on what parameters the dunning letteres are printed?
where to see the layout.......thro which transaction?
what are the tables and fields to be used?
what are the fields to be specified in the smartforms?
what are the fields that are to be passed as parameters?

Junk Character in Print out from Smartform

Hi,
In customer master data we have correct name of customer: MD "NM-OP, LTD" but in invoices,
printed from SAP we have incorrect name: MD #MN#OP, LTD#
Previously we had another name of this cutsomer without special characters like " and - But now, after changes in master data of cutomer in SAP in printed version of invoice we had wrong characters like #
Please sugget what can be done for this type of issue in SMARTFORMS.

Balance sheet statement Print out

Dear all,
I would like to print out a balance sheet report through transaction code S_ALR_87012284. But I would like to assign another form (smartform) to this transaction instead of print out ABAP List. (It means the screen display ABAP List but print out via smartform). What should I do now ? Is there any transaction code for assigning a print form to a transaction instead of ABAP coding ?

If I understood your requirement correctly then you want different ZERO balance clearing GL Account for below type GL Accounts
xxxx00 accounts for all accounting principles
xxxx01 accounts for US GAAP
xxxx02 accounts for IAS
xxxx03 accounts for local GAAP
Please correct me if I am wrong. If correct then you can post accounting entries to different GL Account by using Substitution OBBH. You have to decide the pre-requisite and on the basis of that you can write the substituon.

Verdana Font not printing properly using Vista and Acrobat Pro v8

Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this problem. When I send a word doc to the pdf printer that is all in verdana font it prints out gibberish, however, if in aerial or times new roman thats fine. I'm using Vista and printing via a terminal server.

I'm sorry but I'm not if the font is embedded as I expect it is, as I have no problem printing the font on various personal computers I use. However, the user that I am trying to support is having problems.
Previously when we were using Windows XP Pro and Acrobat Pro v8 and the user had no problems printing over the LAN. We recently moved and ugraded our systems to Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and printing via Terminal Services. The fault may lie with the pinter drivers not being installed on the Terminal Server, but I'm not sure I just need someone to confirm they have had the same problem and how they fixed it.
Any suggestions would be greatful.

Smartform prints out Black boxes instead of Shade

Hello Experts,
I have developed some smartforms which have some boxes that are shaded with grey color for heading.
They work fine for some existing printers. But when i issue a print out on a new printer i
see that the shaded boxes are displayed as solid black boxes on the print out.
I also tried to print it in color but invain. Even the LOGO also got blacked out.
Can any one suggest me what to do.
Is it with my smartform or printer settings. Please advice.

I don't know if u can't find out a solution.
All device output (printers) having the same divice type have the same behavior, i.e. printers having a different device type can give a different output, so if u'll correct the problem for a certain group of printers u could have a new problem for other group.
I think the best soltion is to use the printer used to test the smartforms

Font is changed when print out and other issues

Hi,
I need help with some of my issues with Diadem. I am quite new with Diadem.
I use Diadem to generate report from teststands. The data is passed from Teststands - VI using Diadem connectivity toolkit and a VB script is called to generate PDF and print out the computer.
1. First issue: the font on the diadem looks different with the one is printed out or in pdf. The font in pdf is bigger than in Diadem. You can look in my screenshot.
2. Second issue: sometime it cannot export pdf and the error message is Cannot open the .pdf file.
3. I need to get the channel name and the content of it in the script. Could you please tell me how to do it?

Could u tell me how2control printing out the certain page in smartforms?

there are many pages when I preview ,
but I only need one or several of the pages.
How to print the certain page in smartforms?
and if there are several windows in one page
how can I just print out one or several windows of them?
what should I insert "command" or "program lines" into
the "flow logic" ?

Font while printing Smartform

Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to display Large Font size in Smartform. I am able to display the same for the PRINTER in print preview.
But when i print the smartform, the font is printed in very small size.
I think it is because the printer is not supporting the font.
Please let me know the workaround for such problem.

method for font size....
Define the paragraphs & character formats using SMARTSTYLES & use them in your smartform.
You have to give the smartstyle name in the Form attributes-->Output options for the formats to be used in your smartform.
frm ur pc only u can get this font file..
go to control panel , in tat go to font and select your desired font file..
now give the path of this font file in se73..
after doing that this file will be uploaded into ur SAP server.
Se73 - > True type font installation - > Font name - > specify the name of the font file - > execute

Smartform print out problem : urgent

Hi,
I have developed a smartform to take the printout of the Sales Order created in VA01.
I am facing a problem while taking the printout only if the line item in the sales order are more than 25.
I the line items are less than 25 then I am able to see to the print preview as well as able to take the print out but if the item are more than 25 then I am not able to see the preview also and even able to take the print.

Remember one thing u <b>always give the first page--> next page will ber first page only.. in u r requirement</b> (because in the firtst u r printing the item details, who knows there colud be chances of items may not fit in 1 page so when the items are more it will give proble if u give the first page next page is second page)
do as follows-- you have 2 pages PAGE1(first page) PAGE2)second Page).. now
1..in PAGE1's give the next page as PAGE1, in the PAGE2 give the next page as PAGE2.
2.. After competion of printing the ITEM details u need to print the ITEM COnditions.. so we will trigger the second page explicitily by using the COMMAND after completion of first page..
for this--> at end of the main window <b>right clice > create>flow logi-->command</b>.
now command widow will be inserted.. in this tick the GOTO NEXT PAGE :inthis give PAGE2. in condition tab of the COMMAND "tick only after end of Main Window.

How to avoid that every page of a smartform is going to be printed out

Hi,
I have following problem. In my smartform I builded different pages (like a cover page, different lists etc.). The user should decide by setting parameters what lists he want to print. So if he don´t need the cover page, it should not be printed out.
Is there any way to set this up in the smartform? Right now, the printing parameters (what the user wants to print) are stored in an internal table and should be processed in the smartform. My problem is that there is no way to implement conditions on a page in a smartform.
Please let me know if somebody has a solution for this requirement.
