Font is missing on the install prompt. How do I reinstall all standard macbook pro system fonts?
I recently installed a font pack and then removed the fonts shortly thereafter. Apparently the font that is used in the "install prompt" (the window that pops up for me to enter a password before installing new software) is now missing. The window pops up but everything is blank. How do I go about reinstalling all of the standard macbook pro system fonts?

I was use Maverick, at 26/12/2014 i upgrade it to Yosemite 10.10.1. I am facing problem suddenly its restart. I check disk utility then i saw some problem and disk utility suggest me to reinstall and gave me woman Key like (Command + R).
whatever I tried to do but asking password, I am providing my administration password its not working. i had backup of last 23/12/2014. after upgrade to Yosemite i didn't get any backup i am trying but can't. Day long passing but not getting backup . Let me know what can I do.Dear

when I upgrade my operating on Yosemite then I found a problem. suddenly my mac shutdown and restart automatically. Then i checked system disk through disk utility. when I checked i found some problem. Disk utility command to recovery by recovery HD. When I tried as like "command +R" as then asking password. I tried with my all password like Master password, icould Pass word, user loging password but not working. I can't make backup after upgrade to Yosemite. but i made a backup before upgrade. File-vault enable.

Almost my iTunes library is missing since upgrade Lion 7.2. (the last 2.5 weeks worth of added music has transferred post-upgrade, none of whcih was bought from iTunes)

I do not mean the entire ITunes folder but, rather, the contents of the ITunes folder prior to September 29th. (90% of the media is missing, along with all playlists) The media that remains says it was added on 9/29 although I know most of it was added many months or even years earlier. There are no playlists listed at all, before or after 9/29. (I know for certain that I added non-iTunes purchased songs on 10/6 although I had not created playlists for them)
I have my iTunes folder backed up on both an external drive as well as Time Machine.
I run iTunes off of an ITunes folder on my computer rather than from the external, if that's what you mean about how I have it set up.
Is it OK to drag the entire iTunes folder from the external drive onto my laptop's drive and see if that fixes it?

I have installed a trial of Adobe illustrator on my macbook pro. It is the 2014 release of adobe illustrator. I want to trace an image using the custom trace button.
I start a new document. Then I place my scanned pencil/colored pencil drawing, in to the document. I have tried scanning and then placing it as a jpeg, bitmap, and tiff file. I have tried scanning and then placing it, in color and in black and white. The scan mode I use is flatbed. Adobe illustrator allows me to select the default button and one of eleven preset buttons (e.g high fidelity photo), but it does not allow me to click the custom trace button. The custom trace button is grey while all the other buttons are white.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could custom trace?It seems pointless to adjust it afterwards because it is then only a couple a pencil lines rather then a full drawing. And how do I adjust it afterwards? Would I do this using the different buttons under the window button?

I update my IPhone4 to IOS6 from IOS4.3.3. My all songs are missing in the Iphone4. How to get those songs into my Iphone from ITunes. Even after sync also not coming to IPhone.
The iphone is not storage/backup device.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone.
The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. -

I'm running OS 10.4 and purchased Mac Box Set with Snow Leopard. When I run the Snow Leo install it errors saying I need OS 10.5 to run the install. How do I get around this? I've read that it's possible to go direcectly from 10.4 to 10.6.

Surprisingly, I just went to the crash reporter and there were no reports re: the iPhoto issue. This is the only report I found, which I not sure is related to the iPhoto issue:

As for the TimeCapsule indeed, I use it as an extended drive but I'm surprised it would be considered a FAT-32 formatted drive as this is an Apple device.
I asked the apple reps if I could use the TimeCapsule for such purpose and no one raised a concern. It's also surprising that I didn't have an issue with this prior to the upgrade to OS X Yosemite.
Having said the above, thank you for your help - if the TimeCapsule is indeed the issue, perhaps I can solve the issue by transferring the iphoto library to an OS extended hard drive. -
I will be doing a hard install to wipe my mac. I have Lightroom currently installed. How can I reinstall Lightroom on the new OS without having to purchase it again?
As long as you have the serial number you should not have an issue installing and activating Lightroom when you finish the system reinstall.
