Font of text comes out different to my original MS Word fonts? Please Help!!
When I create (print PDF) the text comes out in a different font to what I used on the MS Word document I PDF'd? My text in the word document was font "Academy" but when I made this a PDF the text is in another standard style font? How can I keep the Academy font in the PDF? Thanks.
Did you embed it (check the fonts under the document properties to see if embedded) or are you looking at it on another machine? What versions of WORD and Acrobat, as well as OS?

After updating my iphone 5s to ios 8.0.2, I am not able to use watsapp and line properly, iphone automatically comes out of the apps after few mins. Please suggest how to fix it.
I had this same problem with what's app. There is a new update for the app on the app store which is compatible with ios8. Update the app, or delete it and re-add it. I found a lot of apps weren't compliant with ios8, but after updating everything worked fine.

My IMessage says my sign in is incorrect, but then I go to the App Store sign out and sign back in and it works perfectly fine. I really need IMessage because I have a flip Phone which is so hard to text on so I like to use IMessage. Somebody please help me;(

That probably explains why you have/had no clue you were purchasing a locked device and think it's an Apple problem to get it unlocked. -

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

I am using Adobe PDF plugin 10.1.5.33. I can open PDF files and they look fine. When I print some of the test comes out all garbled - usually labels, notes at bottom etc. If I disable plugin then when I open PDF Firefox uses Adobe PDF reader to open file and then printing is fine. I have Adobe reader 10.1.5
I am seeing the same issue with Reader 11.0.1.36. Without the Adobe plugin enabled, no issue. Probably related to the type of font being used for the garbled text. There are many font bugs related to various fonts and various Adobe programs filed at Bugzilla. Looks like Adobe has some fixing to do with their Firefox / Netscape plugin.

Printed text comes out in miniature
I have converted a mobile phone user manual to MSWord. The on screen view and preview modes show text as normal filling the page however when I print it it comes out as if the page was 3.5 x 2.5 inches. There is no truncation just a very small font. Any ideas as to what is going wrong.? Please assist.

Why does text come out looking like junk?
I have a scanned copy of my college diploma and an award from Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. All the text on these documents come out looking like symbols and individual letters?

Hi Experts!!
I have created a smartform and print program which should actually print some Thai characters and English characters too. I created a smartstyle and have some 10 paragraph formats and are all have THANGSAN font. So, I am printing all the thai and english characters in THANGSAN font only.
When print preview is seen, the output is very fine, but when being printed, the thai characters are appearing fine but the english characters' font is being changed to somehting else (courier or arial). Why is this happening so? Because of this, all the output is being merged and looking very weird.
The smartform is created in EN and is translated to all languages. All user has logged on to SAP in EN language.
Can somebody please help me out with whether the problem is with THANGSAN or the printer?
P.S. The smartform is actually similar to the standard script Z_RVINVOICE01 in which only THANGSAN is used.

Exporting to Tagged PDF: Why would every single line of text come out as a separate Span tag?
I've inherited an InDesign file for which I have to generate a 508-compliant PDF. Normally this is pretty smooth with InDesign, and most issues have historically been pretty easy to fix.
With this document, though, every single individual line is exporting to tagged PDF as a separate <Span> tag.
I've turned off overrides and hyphenation, and looked for manual line breaks. I've also tried exporting it out to IDML and opening that, and the resulting PDF was no better.
If anyone has an idea of whether there's some odd setting I'm missing that could explain why this is happening, that would be very helpful!Thank you for being so helpful and constructive.
I tried to look at the ASDL settings, john46 but it's asking me for my HomeHub password... the only password I have is for our wireless network and that one doesn't work.
I can't test the phone line right now because I'll have to disconnect the internet and I'm currently working on another computer whilst chatting on this one with you. However I will do that later. I'll also look at the RogerB link you provided.
Truth is, we're pensioners who use the internet but we havent a grain of technical understanding between us. We're old fashioned enough to admit that we just want someone who knows what he's doing to come here and fix it for us. It's already cost us £130 for an engineer to come out from OpenReach to tell us the phone line is OK and it's the router causing the problem. Best case scenario is that another BT engineer who knows about broadband comes out and does it because the last BT person that I spoke to in Delhi did actually confirm that there is a fault on the BT side. I'm getting so frustrated right now I'll probably call out an independant I find in Yellow Pages and get charged an arm and a leg again and I'll then cancel with BT in a fit of pique. -
My itunes music is grayed out and unplayable on my new iphone 5. only a few songs work and the rest just take up space. They will play correctly in my itunes on the computer but not the phone. Please help.
I am so relieved to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this! However, I am sorry to hear you are going through this as well. Lucky for me I am upgrading to a 5s which will be sent to me on Wednesday.
