Font problem in import and link
I'm using RH8 and have a problem with a Word doc I linked.In a numbered list, NumberList2, the font reverts to Times New Roman from Arial 10pt. I attach a pic. I've tried reapplying the style, linking again and again and it's very stubborn. Is there a fix?
Hi
If this is a Linked Word Document, Try going to File>Project Settings >Next and Click on Edit for Word Document conversion Settings, and
Select Edit and it would prompt you with all avauilable tags along with their Appearance, Example in Word and Robohelp.
Check your tag in the List and Select "Source " in Drop Down of RoboHelp Style.
And try to Select that and observe if the Appearnace or Style is imporved.
Alternately, if you want you can import the Word Doccument and its assocaiated CSS file would be imported too and you can make changes directly to CSS and reapply them.
Thanks,

Has anybody tested the import and linking enhancements in RH 9 HTML?
All,
I am testing a trial version of RH 9. All looks good except I’m not understanding some of the import and linking enhancements. Has anyone tried the new relative path benefit by moving a project or source document? I’ve done both and I get the same results as in RH 8—if the project moves, the links work fine, and when the source document moves, you have to use the “restore to link” feature in order to update the link document. Am I missing something?
Here’s the “what’s new in RH 9” lingo:
RoboHelp 9 saves the relative path, instead of the absolute path, of linked documents. As a result, the links work even when the RoboHelp project and the linked Microsoft Word or FrameMaker documents are moved.
Note: Earlier versions of RoboHelp projects that contain absolute paths of linked documents open normally in RoboHelp 9. While saving these projects, RoboHelp 9 saves the relative path
Thanks!Looking again at your first post in the thread, it does state on saving RoboHelp 9 changes the path to being relative. If Linking by Copy then it is an enhancement as it avoids the link having to be recreated if you move the project.
For Create by Reference I would say an absolute path is preferable as it then doesn't matter if the project moves and you are saying that does work. If it is the document that moves, somehow RoboHelp has to be told where.
Sounds like what is wrong is the help not qualifying when the relative link is used. You could add a comment to the help to get that fixed.

Problem with Import and Export Data Wizard
Downloaded and installed SQL Server Express 2008 R2 today because I want to explore how Access interacts with SQL Server (using my home computer). I'm using Access 2010 (under Windows 7), so the 2008 version of SQL Server Express seemed to be the version
to use.
After a couple of false starts, installation appeared to go okay. After the installation. My Start menu listed Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2. The latter listed Import and Export Data (64-bit). When I clicked that, the first Import
and Export Data Wizard page was displayed. I wasn't ready at that time to explore the wizard, so I closed it. An hour or so later I again attempted to open the Import and Export Data wizard. This time, the wizard didn't open. Instead this error message was
displayed: "The SSIS Runtime object could not be created. Verify that DTS.dll is available and registered."
I found DTS.dll on my computer at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn, so the file is available, but don't know whether it is registered.
How can I correct this problem?First can you please post all log file errors
>> I can't really give you a solution or specific recommendation since I did not saw this error yet myself, but on your own risk you can try:
1. You may try to just register 'dts.dll' using regsvr32.exe, but this error may indicate a bigger problem with setup.
If you are running SQL Server 64bit then try running this at the command prompt: %windir%\syswow64\regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\dts\binn\dts.dll"
2. You can try reinstall from start (In this case you have to make sure that you un-install all)

Problem with importing and creating self signed SSL certificate
Mac Pro, 10.7.2 Server. Attempting to import or create a self signed certificate for use as ichat.domain.com to encrypt iChat service. Server is acutally called server.domain.com but has an alias of ichat.domain.com. I understand that this is probably not best practice but I would like to keep things this way since we have one server, run multiple services on it, but want to continue to connect to each service at SERVICE.domain.com. We have been using this type of mismatched certificate with success since 10.4 or so.
I am working through setup of 10.7 Server to replace our 10.6 server.
Tried upgrade of 10.6 to 10.7 installation. The installation made a mess of some services and our Open Directory, but did move the certificate over and allowed iChat service to function properly.
Clean install and setup of 10.7 Server. Exported self signed certificate, private key, and encryption password from 10.6 Server and functioning 10.7 upgraded Server.
On import or manual creation of certificate get the following error:
Error
Check your server's logs for more information. The error (code 5001) was: Expected SecKeychainItemImport to return a SecIdentityRef, but it did not
Log shows:
Dec 29 17:56:55 server servermgrd[498]: -[CertsRequestHandler(HelperAdditions) importP12Data:passphrase:error:]: importedItems = (
"<SecCertificate 0x7fcf6ed43c00 [0x7fff78d96f40]>"
I have tried importing and manually creating other certificates with a variety of names with success. I assume that there is something buried somewhere that is causing this particular one to be a problem. Other than manually removing any remnants of the certificate from /etc/certficates I do not have any ideas what to try. I am essentially ready to move this server to 10.7 except for this problem and would like to avoid a reinstall.
Suggestions?

Applet font problem between linux and windows
I just want to share my experience in several project i've taken part.
In some projects, where all are developed under linux environment (suse 9.2),
we use jasper report for report generation and use the web applet for our clients to print.
They print ok in linux env, with the netscape 7.1, courier 10 font and jvm 1.4.2_06b version.
But when accessed from windows env, with the same browser and the same jvm version, the applet and the print out are different from those of lin env. The headers and footers are missing. When the we edit/lower the header and footer size at the jasper report file, then they appears @ the window env.
So strange that the font handling between win and lin differ (still my assumption). I'vent been able to solve this problem totally since the client must stick with one OS else the print out will be different.
Quite dissatisfied, coz i really think i could code once the report and run it anywhere in the applet and behaves in the same way.
Could anybody help ? T-T
Regards,
Albert Ganhi!
this is my first post and i would like to ask if how did you create the web applet printing. im totally new to java and i dont know where to start.
i hope that you can guide me or give me some instructions. thanks in advance =) -
FCP XML import and linking .r3d
I have a sequence that was originally edited in FCP (7.0) using ProRes proxies created out of RedCine. I remember that in Premiere 5.5 when you imported the XML, premiere re-linked the original .r3d's with all the scale and position attributes.
When I import the XML into Premiere CC it doesn't reconnect the .r3d files.
Did something change with CC or is there something wrong with the XML?Thank you all for your help. It still leaves a bit of a workflow problem. <br /><br />Basically we have some people ingesting / organizing content and maintaining on a network share. Duplicating the media is slow and moving it all into one volume is not too good either as it breaks all the relationships for others. Re-linking is good, but doesn't work if the material is spread across subdirectories and giving a key to link all the media together looses some of the benefit of having the export from FCP in the first place, it's just as easy to re-make the edit.<br /><br />We are only using cut edits, so this is quite simple. For users on the Mac using FCP and handing off to Premier it works fine, the problem is we want to hand off to Windows Premier. It's ok to run a script over the files to change the XML naming of the <pathurl> which seems to be causing the problem, but how to describe this in the Windows world?<br /><br />Thanks for all the help.... anyone from Adobe with any ideas?<br /><br />The problem as I see it is how to identify Mac OS mounts to a Windows version of Premier on XML import.

Font problem with Montserrat and Maven Pro from google
Seems like some fonts don't render as they should in Firefox 29.0.1. I tried to use google web fonts like Montserrat and Maven Pro, no problem with downloading but this fonts don't look good.
I tried to install Montserrat to my Windows 7 (64) and deactivated css so that FF runs the font but same problem occurs.
A really strange problem is that from my computer at work this fonts don't work from FF or Chrome, all versions of IE is fine.
At home i have a laptop with same OS and version of FF and from home it works! But not Chrome..
I have search on the net and at your support site but haven't find any answers yet.
You can look at http://arenago.axiell.com for your self. Below is troubleshooting information from my version of FF where this problems occurs (Sorry about the Swedish)

Problem with Queue and linked list
Hi... i've got an assignment it start like this.
You are required to write a complete console program in java includin main() to demonstrate the following:
Data Structure: Queue, Priority Queue
Object Involved: Linked-List, PrintJob
Operations Involved:
1. insert
2. remove
3. reset
4. search
Dats all... I've been given this much information... Can any1 try to help me please... How to make a start??? And wat does the print job means???
Can any1 tell me wat am supposed to do...Hi,
Why don't you start your demo like this?
import java.io.IOException;
public class Demo {
public Demo() {
public void startDemo() throws IOException {
do {
System.out.println("String Console Demo ");
System.out.println("\t" + "1. Queue Demo");
System.out.println("\t" + "2. PriorityQueue Demo");
System.out.println("\t" + "3. LinkedList Demo");
System.out.println("\t" + "4. PrintJob Demo");
System.out.println("Please choose one option");
choice = (char) System.in.read();
showDemo(choice);
} while (choice < '1' || choice > '4');
public void showDemo(char ch) {
switch (ch) {
case '1':
System.out.println("You have chosen Queue Demo ");
showOperations();
break;
case '2':
System.out.println("You have chosen Priority Queue Demo ");
showOperations();
break;
case '3':
System.out.println("You have chosen LinkedList Demo ");
showOperations();
break;
case '4':
System.out.println("You have chosen Print Job Demo ");
showOperations();
break;
private void showOperations() {
System.out.println("Please choose any operations ");
System.out.println("\t" + "1. Insert ");
System.out.println("\t" + "2. Remove ");
System.out.println("\t" + "3. Reset ");
System.out.println("\t" + "4. search ");
public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
Demo demo = new Demo();
demo.startDemo();
private char choice;
Write a separate classes for the data structures show the initial elements and call the methods based on the operations then show the result.

Problem with Import and Base Object
Hi everyone
Last week, I downloaded Flash CS5. I am trying different thing and here is the problem that I dont understand
I wrote a package like that
package {
import flash.text.TextField;
import fl.controls.Button;
public class ex1 extends Sprite {
public function ex1() {
var myButton:Button = new Bu
tton();
var label:TextField = new TextField();
addChild(label);
If I try to execute that script, the compiler returns error
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: Button.
1180: Call to a possibly undefined method Button.
If I insert in the main stage (with the Componet Editor) a Button in the main stage, and recompile it, no error.
If I delete the Button in the main stage and recompile again, no error
But, If I save the projet and reload it again, I've got the same error
By the way, I dont have any problem with the textField()
What is wrong with my setup.
OTHER QUESTION:
If in the ACTION FRAME (F9), I insert the folowing code:
import ex1;
var a:ex1 = new ex1();
one more time, I've got error from the compiler. Why ?
We cannot include a package in the ACTION FRAME ?
Thanks for your helpThere are some things (including $.fileName) that just do not work in jsxbin's.
I don't thing the exception hook will work either.
Either use an ini file in a well known location (~/Desktop) or make sure your
files are put in Presets/Scripts. That location can be determined with this bit
of code:
var SCRIPTS_FOLDER =
new Folder(app.path + '/' +
localize("$$$/ScriptingSupport/InstalledScripts=Presets/Scripts"));

Troubles importing and linking media in CS5.5
I am using CS5.5 and having trouble importing media. Importing .mpg or .VOB files (~30mins length, 1GB size) and both cause Prem to hang and not respond. I can leave it for half an hour and still no progress. However, when using a different computer, no troubles.
This is a clean install of CS5.5. Have cleared media cache.

Helvetica font problems with DW and Mac OS 10.5
wondering if anyone else has seen this, just upgraded to 10.5
and DW (CS3) doesn't seem to be able to access system-wide
Helvetica fonts. I get odd symbols that require the page to be
encoded in Unicode, but odd symbols still show up, and I can't get
rid of them, even by trying to eliminate them in code view. Even if
I use Arial as default font, DW's inability to access Helvetica
seems to be introducing the symbol problems. I also use Suitcase
Fusion, and they recommend switching Apple's Helvetica.dfont with
Postscript version of Helvetica, since not all apps can access the
.dfont. Since this is a system-wide font that has it's own issues.
Searched help and these forums but didn't see anything about this
online. If anyone has any tips let me know. thanks.If it happens in a new user you may be able to repair this with the 10.5.4 Combo Update This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before.
Remember to Verify Disk before update and repair permissions after update from /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.

IMovie Problems: Photo import and audio-video out of sync.
Photo import problem:
Some times, I have problems importing photos onto my new project, the photos will appear to be that just one same photo when played. It does not transit to the other photos following the first, it's just stuck on the first. Is this just an issue with iMovie '11? Are there any other ways to resolve this problem?
Audio-video out of sync:
I've checked some other discussions but I'd like to raise this issue again for APPLE. There are problems exporting my 7-minute film - the video and audio go completely out of sync no matter what format I export it to. There are not a lot of clips used. I'm now trying the method to detach the audio files from the video, hopefully it works.
These issues are bothering me, in addition to a failed firmware update on Mac OSX 10.7.2 a few weeks ago. I couldn't open my computer and I had to go to the Genius Bar to have them help me backup my files on my computer and reinstall the whole system again. Anyways, any help to the above iMovie issues are greatly appreciated. Just wish that Apple will address these current issues and not just focus on improving their products with awesome features ._.Hello,
Thanks for the reply, I am using embed code generated with Flash Media Playback, as follows:

Google chrome can not be opend via Icon
Google search is possible but if you want to Open any link it cannot be opend (no New window)
Internet is only available via wifi but not with the smart phone supplier (tmobile) - resulting in no access to InternetStrange! Try to remove the battery from the phone for a while and then try again. You can also start your phone in safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party apps installed in your phone:

Problems with import and import recent
When I click import or import recent, Premiere says it is importing, but it doesn't. The file type is MOV and it is usually something I just captured into Premiere. If I find the file and drag it to the timeline, it works fine. Also, how can I make it automatically be added to the timeline?
I have used older versions of the program on a PC and I thought I remembered that the captured clips were automatically added to the project. Im on a Mac now and the few times I've captured video it didn't add it to the project. Dragging and dropping works fine it's just a pain.

Interesting ... I'm pretty sure that there's later HP-supplied firmware (409 and 609) available for that drive, but it isn't showing up on the Downloads page for your particular HP model.
There's also another problem we need to check on with a TS-H653N supplied by HP: whether or not you need to get a free replacement.
So we'd better try downloading and running the following HP utility (it checks to see if you've got an affected drive):
