Font settings keep changing when I restart Mail

I've noticed over the past few days that whenever I restart Mail, my font settings keep changing, so I have to keep going back in and adjusting them.
Anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?
I did a search in this forum, but didn't see anything about this.

I should clarify that this happens after I restart my computer, then open Mail. If I close Mail, then reopen it, without restarting, then this does not happen.

The issue is that I have made up a contract in Word.

When we convert to PDF some of the numbers change. Example 20 becomes 201.

Flash Player preference settings keep changing

Under System Preferences, my Flash Player settings keep changing every so often (every few weeks or so), in the Storage, Camera and Mic and Playback tabs.
I have all three tabs set to Block and the settings change to Allow or Ask me.
Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?

This solved my problem partially, all I want is that Firefox keeps my Flash saves while I clear the history log.
Your way works too, now, instead of clearing the history log through the browser, I use CCleaner.

MSI VOX Audio default settings keep changing on startup

I've had this VOX tuner for about a year and a half and I've used it on 2000, XP SP1, SP2, etc...and I've fought with it every single time I reconfigure the O/S. I am a computer support professional - I know a couple of things about drivers, registry file, etc...and I STILL can't get this thing to work consistently!
Anyway, when I install the drivers and MSIPVS software, it always selects the MIDI synth input instead of Line In as the default audio input setting. I reconfigure MSIPVS and tell it to use Line In instead - everything works fine. Then I exit and restart MSIPVS - it goes back to MIDI and I have to reconfigure the audio to use Line In every single time I run the software. Of course, that means the recording doesn't work - because as soon as I click on record, it sets the audio default back to MIDI synth again. I've used two different audio cards with this and they all do the same thing (SoundBlaster Live! value and a SoundBlaster Audigy 2). I've used several different motherboards - I've completely replaced all components in my computer several times and I always have this same problem.
I've got an internal MSI TV tuner card on another machine running this same software - it has the same problem. It won't exit half the time (the window closes but you can still hear the audio running until you restart the computer).
The hardware seems fine, but the software is unbearably poor! I'd drop the software in a second if I could find something else that works better.
The weird thing is that in uninstalling, reinstalling, cleaning out the registry, fiddling endlessly -once in a while I can actually get it to work, but I have no idea what I've done to make this work twice in a row. I've reinstalled the software dozens of times now, reinstalled Windows...I don't know what else to try.
Obviously, I've upgraded all audio and video drivers - none of that makes any difference.
If I open the SoundBlaster mixer program, as I start the MSIPVS program, I can see the MIDI and Line In channels get muted and un-muted but by the time the software loads, it's defaulted back to MIDI Synth again.
Anybody have ANY ideas? I'm desperate to try anythig now. I'm considering throwing the whole thing out and getting an ATI tuner or something completely different - as long as it doesn't use this Intervideo software...

Oh yeah...one more thing I've noticed is that the WinCinema Manager causes all kinds of problems - if this program is running, the channel keeps changing to 1, 11, or 111 - it seems to be sending some kind of remote control signals to change the channels so I've had to disable this program - then the channels seem to work fine (but maybe it's causing my audio problems...?)

Service settings keep changing?????

I have digital voice and someone keeps changing my settings on the services I have. Is this your programmers or someone who is making changes?
Example: I have simultaneous ring turned on for my home office line and somehow it keeps getting turned off without me logging in.
Please fix this or I will have to seek better service.

If you have invested a lot of money into your computer system etc, I suggest that you take it to a dealer like Comp USA, Best Buy, C.City etc. It’s possible that you have many issues affecting your computer operation.
To my knowledge there are no known issues with Itunes that causes the problem's you mention!
I don’t think this is the best forum or Itunes catagory to resolve what could be complex computer problems.
That’s why when you purchase the computer you should have a warranty and or Technical Support included for issues you may have.
The reason I mention Virus is because you have to start somewhere, and with the little info you gave out, that’s where I thought you should start.

SB settings keep changing: solut

Ive figured out that when my THX settings for SB Audiligy 2ZS Platinum were continously reverting to default after I set it.......... That it wouldnt accept my own customized settings for Speaker Calibration. If you use the arrow buttons more/less to adjust the settings......it stays and doesnt keep changing...the only problem is that you can't have the exact settings you want........the arrow buttons change the values in increments....So the only thing you can do.. is have it set to the closest increment to the value you want. Also the surround mixer settings will get set to the closet preset increment to the value chosen. For example... I set the bass to 45%.....the closest preset, it seems, is 43% so it stays at 43 and doesnt keep changing after that. All these complications are awfully crazy and annoying for a card that costs $00+. It's weird because my previous SB Li've! card did not have any of these issues. Feel free to add to this post with any experiences, tips, tweaks you may have encountered with this definitely problematic card. It would be great if Creative could come up with a fix for all these quirks in their software. I ve tried everything to solve these problems including the recommended Cleansweep procedure.

its got nothing to do with that its the poorly programmed software.
You will have to hope and pray for a fix, but be prepared to wait possibly 4 years + , look for a fix for the bass redirection issue fix that has been a long awaited fix.

My notification settings keep changing on my exchange email account.

For some reason, the notification settings on my work email account keep getting changed without my knowledge. I have it setup to alert me with a banner, in the notification center and on the lock screen. However, twice in the last 5 weeks this has changed so I only have the badge app icon, no other notifications.
How can these settings just change like that, and how do I keep them consistent going forward?

Raw settings being changed when running droplet

When I process Canon Raw files using a droplet Photoshop appears to be opening the files through ACR and converting them.
To process Raw files I open them from Bridge into ACR and adjust the settings for the files, then click done. I then take those files and drop them on a droplet. The resulting Psd files are beig processed by the droplet, but their settings are being changed.
For example, I open 10 files in ACR and set them to 8bit, then click done. I then open another file in ACR and set it to 16 bit. If I then run the first ten files through a droplet they are all changed to 16bit (the dropket does not include a conversion to 16bit)
I'm using a PC

Clarity and Exposure are per-image metadata that should be distinct per image.
Admittedly I have only rarely used droplets and only as an output export action to apply to files coming out of LR some years back so am not sure if what is happening is to be expected or not, but here are some questions to help clarify what is happening for others to verify if that’s how things should be working or not:
Are you looking at a raw file in ACR before and after being processed by your droplet and you see different settings or are you just looking at the PSD and seeing it looks different than the raw file in ACR?
Do settings change if there is only one raw file dragged onto the droplet at a time and are the settings the same for every image no matter which images or how many are dragged at a time (the settings are saved as part of the droplet)?
Are the settings the same for every image in the group that have been dragged onto the droplet but change from one group to the next (the droplet is picking up the settings of one of the images in the group and applying that to all of them)?
Are the settings different for different raws in the group but seem to be correlated with the previous or next image in the set dragged onto the droplet? (the settings are picked up from the wrong image in the group)?
If you make a droplet with that does nothing other than open the raw file, not even save it to a PSD, do the raw file settings change? In other words does it matter what you’re doing in your droplet for the settings to change?

Table Format order and visibility in Form Settings keeps changing

Dear Experts,
We are facing a concurrent problem where there is constant change in the table format of the form settings in marketing documents.
The columns order keeps changing and also the visibility box which will be ticked, becomes again unticked the next day for particular columns which are used.
Event though it is set one time in manager login and locked the doc settings for other end users. The format keeps changing.
It has to be set dially manually. Is there a permanent solution for it .

Settings keep changing themselves

Minor settings keep tweaking themselves, such as I will make the podcast app "oldest to newest" however anytime I go out of the app then back in it becomes newest to oldest, and sometimes completely ignores my setting all together. I've got newest stuff on top. I suppose the simple solution would be to simply live with it. However its other settings as well, like the music app, it keeps going to the artist search screen sometimes while I'm trying to scroll down an album I am listening to. It's very annoying, is there something I can do to fix this?

That is a well know bug. I'm not sure of what the logic behind this procedure, but actual responses from users who tried it confirm that it works. Please switch your status to offline for at least a minute, then switch back to online. Then change your privacy settings to see if they will stick this time.

Do you have any FAT strorage devices attached to it? Is so unmount them or in the iPhoto preferences set actipon when a camera is connected to do nothing
Do you have iPhpoto set to launch on start up? Is so right click on the iPhoto icon in the Dock and under options uncheck that option
Do you have iPhoto in your list of programs to launch at login in the users and groups system preferences? If so then remove it
Was iPhoto running when you shut down and do you have the option checked to restart all programs ? If so quit iPhoto before shutting down or uncheck that option

users can preserve their transactions context even when we have to
restart the ASCS instance, either on the same Host or on the second host.
On HostA we have installed ERP2006 SR3:

Before doing interuption, the ensmon shows that the ERS is
properly connected to the SCS:

get replinfo request executed successfully
Replication is enabled in server, repl. server is connected
Replication is active
When we perform a restart of the ASCS10 instance, even if the user sessions are kept,
the transactions are reset. On the ERS11 work directory, the
file dev_enrepsrv indicates the following error message when ASCS10 restarts:
Reconnect: repl. table layout has changed, delete old one
And in fact, the number of entries in the replicated enqueue servers
are reset to 0 and the transactions are reset.

I have the same issue.
I installed DB and SCS instance on one AIX host and the ERS on another AIX host. The ERS connects to the SCS and when I issue the command
enqt pf=<ERS_Instance_profile> 11 30
the test entries are visible on ERS and SCS
But when I shutdown and restart the SCS all entries are reset. cleanipc on SCS does not change this.
Any idea what could be wrong? Any help is highly appreciated.

My Safari v5.0.5cookie settings keep changing

My Safari Cookie setting keep changing randomly it seems, I set them to (Only site I visit) look back later and they will have changed to one of the other settings, I have tried trashing the safari pref file and it still happens, anyone else seeing this behaviour?

every time i open my firefox, the settings have change. Specifically, the startup page: it starts up where i left off, even tough i don't want this. I want google as my startup page, and it keeps changing this. I already updated to the latest version, but this problem still continues. Please help!

I think the saved settings in user.js overrides your settings

Note that there shouldn't be numbered sessionstore-##.js files in the Firefox profile folder, so best is to remove all those numbered files.

Safari keeps freezing when using yahoo mail.

Safari keeps freezing while using Yahoo mail. Have to close out or reset safari to regain access. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Why not use Mac Mail instead of Yahoo's web based mail and having to access it via Safari and deal with incompatibility issues?
Open Mac Mail.
From the menu bar top of your screen click Mail / Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Click + (plus) under the Accounts panel on the left.
Type in your name, Yahoo email address and Yahoo password then click Create.
It's that easy.
To view incoming mail or start a new mail message just click the Mail icon in your Dock. If the Mail icon isn't in the Dock, go to your Applications folder, launch Mail. Then click and hold the Mail icon in the Dock, click Option / Keep In Dock.
