Font size in email too small

All of a sudden the font size in the email app is small. It's as if each mail has been zoomed out. I upgraded to iOS 4.2 a few days ago, but this just started happening today. It is not dictated by the setting for minimum font size. I have never changed that setting and it's set to medium.
If I reboot the phone, the font size goes back to normal for awhile, but then gets small again. Any ideas?

Well, when it is happening it happens to all emails in the email app. The behavior is very strange. Again, it's as if all the emails are zoomed out. The only way to fix it that I can see is to hold the power button down and reboot the phone. When it comes back up it's normal....for awhile. I haven't figured out what triggers the behavior.

    Hi,

My Dreamweaver software top tab menus like File, Edit, View, Insert, Modify, Format etc. these are menus font size too small in my laptop display so i am facing problem in development. I have try to resolve this issue through change to desktop resolution but after change the resolution of window property i have get only little bit change in font size of tab menus but i am not satisfied with this change if you have any other solution for this problem please reply me or email me on [personal information deleted by moderator]

Unfortunately, the only way to change the font size in the Dreamweaver interface is by changing the display settings of your computer. On Windows, you can change the size of text and other items without changing the resolution by selecting Start > Control Panel > Display. I don't think there is an equivalent on a Mac.
If you find the size of the menu items a problem, I suggest that you submit a feature request through the form at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform.

  • Mail font size has become too small

    Hi,
The font size in my mail is too small and changing preference size numbers has no effect.
    Umm. Ever heard of that?
    What should I do?
    Garrett

Are you talking about the font size for received messages?
If so, this is caused by the sender using HTML for message composition.
Copied from Why HTML in E-Mail is a Bad Idea.
Because it introduces accessibility problems. When you write in plain text, the receiving mail client renders the text in whatever font the reader chooses. When you format email with HTML, the sender controls the formatting. But this is a trap: You only think your message will render the same way to the viewer as it appears to the sender. In reality, the receiver can end up squinting because the font looks so tiny, or vice versa. HTML is not rendered the same way from one viewing client to the next - all guarantee of accessiblity goes out the window. This is especially problematic for visually impaired persons.
With such a message open, at the menu bar go to View > Message and select Plain Text Alternative and all text will be converted to your chosen Message Font and size selected at Mail > Preferences > Fonts & Colors.
There is also a Terminal command available that automatically converts message text composed in HTML to Plain Text for all received messages.
Sorry if you are referring to something else.

  • How to fix font size that is too small to read on each new page

At Windows XP suggestion, screen resolution is set at 1280 x 1024 in Display Properties. Large fonts and large icons are selected. "Type" size on every new screen that comes up is so small that I can't read it without +++ to zoom in. Seems especially severe on web sites but email and regular applications (word perfect in particular) are also presenting such small font size that reading is very difficult without zooming in on every new page.
What setting(s) adjustments am I missing?
Or should I just disregard 1280 x 1024 suggestion and cut those numbers down?

hey there steffvl & welcome to Discussions,
it sounds as though you may have accidentally placed one of your movies into a Drop Zone... is the time shown for your Menu the the same as one of your movies? depending on the theme, some Drop Zones are hard to differentiate from the part of the Menu Page where you can drop/place movies. take a look @ the Map View for any alert warning symbols in the Menu Thumbnail. if you have dropped a movie into a Drop Zone, just place something else in there & then drag your movie to where it should be on the Menu. i hope it's something this simple.
    good luck.

  • FONT OF INCOMING EMAIL TOO SMALL

WHEN I GET AN INCOMING EMAIL, THE MESSAGE IS ALMOST TOO SMALL TO READ. I'VE GONE TO VIEW-ZOOM-TEXT ONLY-ZOOM IN. I DO THIS A COUPLE TIMES AND I CAN READ IT, BUT, THE REST OF THE TEXT GETS TOO BIG. SO WHEN I'M DONE READING, I HAVE TO UNDO WHAT I DID.

THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH. FUNNY HOW JUST A LITTLE CLICK CAN MESS UP EVERYTHING. THEN YOU FORGET ALL THE THINGS YOU DID TO TRY AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM. I HAVE A TENDENCY TO TRY STUFF AND NOT REMEMBER ALL THE THINGS I CHANGED. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY WEB PAGE LOOKS LIKE A BUNCH OF BLUE LINES AND NO COLOR OR LINES OR BUTTONS WHERE THEY BELONG. NOW THAT IS SCARE Y. I DID MANAGE TO FIX THAT, AFTER ALMOST HAVING A HEART ATTACK, OR PANIC ATTACK. THANKS AGAIN

  • How to change font size for email sent

Email sent from my 4th generation iPod Touch appears with a tiny font ( 4pt.) on computers screens and printouts. Is there a way to change this on the iPod Touch?  I have not been able to make the font larger in Mail on MBA. I am able to adjust font size of email form iPod Touch on Win 7.
    Thanks

Hi, I just tried a few of the other suggestoions on related threads. Adjusting the font in the iPod only enlarges font on screen of iDevice. I set it back to Medium. That was OK.
In Mail on MBA command + enlarges font on screen only. Printout is still very small.
Thsi\\is seems to be something related to Mail not the iPod. Email does appear in normal size font on iBook running Panther, XP, Win 7 units. Printouts are normal size too.
Thanks again for your help. Being able to make the font larger on the MBA screen is good.

  • Font size in email Invites

How do I change the font size of email which go out for meetings.  The font is seriously size 8 or smaller and I can't find an option anywhere to make it reasonable/readable size.
Where in the options is this possible?
    Thanks

If you have a licensed server, I believe you can edit this in the language.xml file. If you are hosted, I don't believe there is much you can do. We don't use the internal e-mail tool in Connect, as we don't like to send plain text emails, so we generate our own emails/invites and include the link to the room or object in the custom emails.

  • How do I change the default setting for font size when emailing?

I have Firefox 3.6.13. The default now is 10 and I'd like it 12.

Firefox has no email features, it is just a web browser. Any email settings will be part of the email service that you are using, you will need to contact the support for the email service to see how to change the default font size in emails.

The zooming factor set via the zoom slider or by scrolling is not persistent.
You can set the font for messages you send (including the plain text messages you compose and read) in
File > Options > Mail, under Compose messages, click

  • Iphoto pics emailed too small

Pictures emailed from my Mac on Iphoto 08 are too small even though I sent them 'actual size.'  Sent as 5.7MB, received as 151KB.

Add a photo to an Email and look at the bottom right of the Mail window. See the size indicator lower right?

  • Specify font size in email application

Where can I configure the font size used in the email application? Especially the list of messages only shows 5 where ther would be more room if a smaller font was used.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

i do not believe there is a way to make the overall font size smaller to allow for the ability to see more then 5 email on a screen.
yes, you can change the font size with a couple of different applications in the extras-devel, but they will not allow you to see more bars of email in the email client.
if you are in an email...or have an email open, you can use the volume key to zoom in or out and make the font size bigger.
but, this does not affect the inbox, etc.

  • Fonts on CS6 are too small

Any updates to solve the problem?

Attach an external Display that displays more pixels at a lower resolution like a dell ultrasharp 32"  UP3214Q displaye 3840px by 2160px a 16:9 aspect ratio at only 140DPI text should be quite readable.  Before there were displays with high resolution DPI most displays had a resolution around 96DPI so the font used in applications UI were designed for 96DPI displays they should be readable at 140dpi.  I have used 15" 1600x1200 displays for years their 133DPI resolution display fonts slightly smaller and much sharper then 96DPI displays. Your MPB LCD has a resolution of 220DPI at that resolution fonts designed for 96DPI displaye will be less the 1/5 the size they display at 96DPI. At 140DPI they will be 1/2 the size as displayed at 96dpi. 2.5 times the size of text on your 240dpi display. Your MBP supports 3840x2160 via HDMI at 30HZ.
These days Applications and OS need to be updated to support high dpi resolution displays. This will not happen over night.  IBM introduced the 204DPI T221 22.2" 16"10 aspect ratio display that displayed 3840x2400 pixels 9,2MP in 2001 and UI fonts were displayed too small..  Its now 2014 some 13 years later.... • Can you change the font size of emails?

    Hello All,
Lately on the new Tour i find text to email messages and some email messages have font sizes that are rather large. Is anyone aware of a way to set a font size for generic email?
"The world is not given to us by our fathers, It is something borrowed from our children."

It's actually a pretty awesome feature!  Whenever I get an HTML encoded e-mail, it looks like this so people sitting next to me can easily read it too!  It is also great in case I drop my Berry on the floor -- I can finish reading the rest of the sentence before I have to pick it up again!
