Font Wierdness---I delet 'em, yet, they re-appear---?
Well, actually a couple of font issues:
Background: A good while back, probably in ver. 10.3.9 or so, (I'm now 10.4.8) Disc Warrior reported some issues w/some of the non English Fonts, so, went thru & deleted those.
As well as 'Resolve Duplicates' to get rid of the black dot next to about half of all my installed fonts.
-been checking about weekly with Font Book since then. No matter how many times I've deleted the Chineese, Japaneese & Hebrew fonts they re-appear.
-as well, usually about half my fonts have the black dot indicating duplecate.
Wassup with this?

Deleted the fonts how? From Font Book, or the hard drive?
If you're only deleting them from Font Book, you're only deleting links to the actual fonts. Since the fonts themselves are still in a Fonts folder on the hard drive, they'll keep reappearing in Font Book since any fonts in any of the various Fonts folders are automatically active.
If you want them to be gone for good, you need to delete the actual fonts from the hard drive.

my playlists in itunes that contained voice memos are now blank on my phone, yet they are still on the playlist in itues on my computer. any ideas
i like to record concerts i go to a listen to them and the voice memos are how i record themIf you still have the 'pointers' to them in iTunes then I think that it assumes that you still have them on your computer so it won't re-download them or let you copy them from your iPod - try deleting the iTunes entry for one of them and then re-try re-downloading or, with your iPod connected, File > Transfer Purchases. If it works for that one then do the same for the others.

I deleted some videos from camera roll but they still appear in the videos folder
I removed some videos from my 4s to my computer but they still appear in a file called videos on my phone. The file Videos doesn't show up on my computer when I plug my phone in to the USB. How can I see this file on my computer when my phone is plugged in?
The "Photos section" within the Photos app is just a view of your Photo Stream, organized by dates and locations. You can see the exact same content by looking at "My Photo Stream" within the Albums section of the Photos app.
So, deleting things from Camera Roll will have no effect on Photo Stream nor the "Photos" section of the app, except for pictures in Camera Roll which may not have been uploaded to Photo Stream yet. -
I change my email my Verizon email to Comcast email. I am continually asked to give my password for my old email which I deleted. I have deleted this Verizon email from every area on my iPad that I'm aware of, And yet he still appearing. How do I solve this.
What you are describing sounds like you created a new apple id with your new comcast email address. There may be apps on your ipad that are associated with another id that was using your verizon email address. If thats what you're saying then those apps need to be updating by using the apple id that was used when they were downloaded.
If you're talking about something else then maybe a lttle clarification is necessary.
Go to settings/itunes and app stores. make sure the correct apple is shown.
Go to settings/mail, contacts and calendars. Makes sure all of the accounts are current.
Go to settings/icloud, facetime and messages, verify the same. -

Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. -
I delete some emails ,there are moved to trash . I delete them from trash folder too and they still appear in a folder called 'all messages". I repeat the same actions and after a while they appear again!what should i do to delete them permanently??
If you are using Apple's Mail app 6.5 is the latest version irrespective of what a previous poster says. It does sound though that you are using a gmail account online via a web browser. Please confirm and fill in missing information.

How do I delete stored email addresses in my iphone? When sending photos, I don't want to have certain email addresses "popping up" from the internal memory, I've deleted my entire "Contact" list but they still appear. Help please!
As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message. -
When I access my google e-mail account on the I-pad my inbox has at least 6 e-mails with no sender and no subject (absent via I-phone, Mac or PC) I cannot delete them as they cannot be selected- how do I stop them and clear the ones there now?
Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I have an iPad 2 and receive e-mail through regular internet connection. Lately, when I delete e-mails, and clear my Trash folder, they re-appear, downloaded anew from the server and marked as unread. My e-mail Advanced Settings are selected for "Remove from server when moved from Inbox." Even when I access the e-mail accountfrom my desktop and delete the e-mails, the re-appear on my iPad. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and what I can do to actually delete them?
Sounds like you are looking in the wrong Administrative Group container which is why you are seeing your Exchange 2010 servers in there.
When you install Exchange 2003 only you will see a container named by default as "CN=First Administrative Group" container. But this could be named anything if you changed the Organization Name on the installation when you installed the first
Exchange 2003 server into the domain/forest.
You will notice that when you install Exchange 2010 part of the AD setup is to create a new configuration container and is named by default "CN=First Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)".
So it sounds like you are not looking in the right location within ADSIEdit.

I recommend though that you ensure your Exchange 2003 servers are fully uninstalled or no longer present in your environment before you go deleting the Servers container though.. The following Microsoft article will help with this:

Only the carrier to whom the device is locked can unlock it.
If you do not meet their requirements or they do not offer unlocking there is no official way to unlock the device.

I have everything set for Arabic fonts and the keyboard as well. When I type in WORD or EXCEL I just get individual Arabic letters, but they never connect, they should be for example like this الس but they always appear like that ا ل س
MS Word for Mac has never supported Arabic. You have to use other apps. Mellel is best, but Pages 5, TextEdit, Nisus Writer, or Open/LibreOffice should work OK.
Sometimes you can make Word for Mac do connected Arabic if you are editing a document created with Windows Word. -
I have purchased tv shows on my I pad in I tunes yet they don't show on my iPad anywhere!i have tried syncing to my pc and they show and can be viewed in there.how can I get them to show on my iPad?i have turned on home sharing as well!
Where are you looking on your iPad for the shows? In iTunes? If so, look under Videos.

I have digital handbooks in iBooks on my iPad yet they are not showing in iBooks on my 3G iPhone. I have the iCloud completely set up - everything else syncs. Anyone have any idea why they're not showing on both devices?
You still have to sync them or download them to your phone. iBooks will sync your bookmarks, and your collections (which are they are organized when you tap "Collections" on your iPad) using iCloud, but it will not transfer copies of the actual books or pdfs to your other devices.

I seem to have a double iCloud sync going as I have two of everything in my Notes. When I try to delete one copy, they both disappear. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks

Further to the above I have now discovered that I have two iCloud accounts in my notes so there are two icloud folders !!
If I delete one, then all the notes are deleted from the other one. If I move all the notes from one into the other then the empty one is populated with two of everything !!
Dont want to uncheck Notes in iCloud as there is a drop down box that advises that all notes will be removed from my Mac if I take that action
Not sure what to do now !!
