Fonts and indent first line in adobe forms

Hi,
I have a smartstyle with paragraph format DF for which left margin is 1.00cm and indent first line is -1.00cm. I am using this style in textmodule where i can see the text correctly as desired. but when i am using this text module in adobe form, indent first line is not recognized i.e the first line is also starting from 1.00cm which is supposed to be 0cm.
can anyone tell me how i can resolve this and also i need Arial font style in smartstyles which is not currently available when i am checking smartstyles, how can i add this font style in smartstyles?

Not sure if this will help you... but just some pointers....
How about triggering the javascript on selection of a particular record in the table...? i.e. call the particular javascript function only when some row in the table is selected and not otherwise.
About row selection, you can try using some type of UI control like radio button and through iteration of the table, you can find out which row's radio button has been selected..

Collecting Responses only collects first line in distributed form

Does anyone know if this is a common problem with a known solution? I have a distributed dynamic form which starts out with one line. The user fills it in, then adds additional lines when necessary. User then uses the submit via email button on the form to email the form back to me. I receive the form, and am prompted to save response into a response file. However, when viewing the response file, only the first line of the form is entered, even though the user has added and filled in multiple lines. Any idea what is causing this?

Edit: Actually, when I export it as a CSV file and open it in Excel, the data is there, but it is spread out...i.e., each line that has been added by the user is appended as additional columns, not as additional rows. I really only need to view it in Adobe, so is there any way of getting ALL of the collected data to display in the Adobe form collector?

How to draw and modify double lines with Adobe Illustrator?

I need tot draw roadmaps. This should be easy using the pen tool, but my problem is that I cannot find a way to draw double lines with this tool. I have seen many fancy border styles and patterns. Some do have double or even quadruple lines, but the problem is than that they have an offset from the vector line and the space in between the two lines (the edges of the road) cannot be filled. Somewere I also found some pens called 'Double line 1.1' to 'Double line 1.6' but they also had an offset from the vector and I could not chance the size of the lines and the interval in between them independently.
What I am looking for is a way to draw two lines in parallel and have the option tot fill the space in between with a color or even a pattern.
The color and size of the lines should be changeable to make a distinction between several types of road.
Is there an existing set of pencils for this purpose? It would be nice to be able to draw not only roads, but also railways and rivers!
I am surely not the first person who needs to do this?

Thanks for the answer. I have been searching for a solutions for a long
time, but today I found the solution on a forum (not on this one). That
solution is exactly as you described below, i.e. using a coloured line and a
narrower white line on top of the first one. My problem was that I did not
know how to create a custom brush based on the two lines. Now I know how to
do that. However, I still have the problem. I can now draw double lines and
I can change the color of the background line (the coloured one) but I
cannot change the white colour of the narrower line. I assume that I have to
completely redefine a new brush when I need to change that colour too.

I can offer suggestions, but I can not fix it.
Press enter three or four times before you start typing and then move the cursor back to the start. What happens is your point of insertion gets outside your predefined font range, it is a know bug and that will help you "stay in the lines" Another option is type Rick, go back to the start and then type your message. Anything which keeps the insertion point from the very end of the email really.

Changing row or cell background and Font size in the table in Adobe Form

I have a problem in the Adobe Forms (Non-interactive). I have developed a form in which a table is displayed dynamically. I wanted to highlight some rows depending upon the cell value.

Copy and paste from excel to adobe form

Hi everyone,
a customer in a project based on WDJ + Adobe Interactive Form asks us the ability to copy areas of data (numeric and alphanumeric) from an Excel Spreadsheet (set of contiguous rows and columns), and paste them into a text field free PDF, preserving the formatting (ie the structure of rows and columns, font and size).
Personally I think it is something not feasible unless a development at hoc.cosa do you think?
Any advice is very welcome.

Reading the documentation XFA at http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/xml/xfa_spec_3_1.pdf (richtext reference) we understand that you can make the cut & paste from Word or, better still from a RTF. But in this case from the Excel table information is lost as it is aligned in a single line.
The only way I think is to define a common layout to Excel and Adobe and use tables dynamically in the form
I do not think this is a limitation of the SAP solution!

Keep it as a favorite in your browser - you'll be using it alot.

How to generate a report with Courrier font and no horizontal lines?

Hi guys,
In a wizard-generated report, I want to accomplish the following things.
1. Print table data (I'm only printing one column) in a non-proportional font (e.g. Courrier).
2. Suppress the vertical lines that Apex automatically puts in between each record.
How can these two things be accomplished?

Fair enough. I'll try to be more specific. Assume you're running a query from SQL Developer on a single column from a single table. In the table, the data is already formatted to be displayed using a non-proportional font (old-time religion here). SQL Developer will show the contents of the column formatted exactly like the author intended (non-proportional font and no "helpful" horizontal lines between the rows). That's exactly what I want Apex to do. In the rectangular area that Apex creates for the report contents display, I want Apex to show the rows from that table in a non-proportional font with no horizontal lines between the rows. The report query will be just about as simple as possible (i.e. select col1 from tab1 order by col 2). How should I go about achieving this result?

Dynamic Height of a lines in Adobe forms

Hi All,
Below is my form layout -
The middle boxes are always blank and just need to show as columns. Now, there is a chance of more data on both Black circle data and red circle data.
If any of these increased, then I want to show the blank cells as well with vertical lines (separating columns). I tried subforms etc., but no luck, any help is highly appreciated.
Required format:
In below : right side second red box has multiple values as i told, so I need to have lines like green color dynamic increased.

Stuck with install/first use of Adobe forms in NWDS

I'm trying to use interactive forms in NWDS, but there seems to be nowhere in NWDS that I can access anything Adobe like. I'm not sure if this a very simple thing I'm missing in NWDS, or my installation has gone wrong.
From the beginning, I've installed Web AS ABAP+Java plugin 2004s SP6, running under linux. Everything starts up fine.
I'm running Windows XP on a virtual box to install SAPGUI 7.10 and NWDS 7.0.12. Can connect with SAPGUI and from NWDS to J2EE message server.
Installed Adobe Live Cycle Designer 7.1 (as not part of NWDS installation - 816065) plus patch plus xACF. Registered WDAbobeControl.dll according to 822198.
Tested successfully Adobe Webservices from browser, but do get an 500 error when called from within NWDS.
To start using forms, what should I do next ? I've tried creating a webdynpro project, but there's no indication of how to call a layout.
Any successful pointers rewarded with, er, points

Have you installed and configured ADS on your server.
without ADS... you cant work on your interactive forms.
check the following points
(this is an old version of requirements but still will help)
2-1 The SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (Support Package Stack 11) including Adobe LiveCycle Designer (forms design tool) is installed on your computer.
2-2 You have access to the SAP J2EE Engine (Release 6.40). (Note that you can download an evaluation version (Sneak Preview SAP Web Application Server 6.40 Java) from the SDN Download Area at https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/downloadarea.sdn.)
2-3 Adobe Reader 7.0.x is installed on your computer.
2-4 The Active Component Framework (ACF) of the Interactive Forms integration is installed on your computer. With SP Stack 11, calling a Web Dynpro application that includes a PDF form for the first time should automatically install the ACF in the background. If you experience
difficulties that may be related to the frontend installation, please see SAP Note 766191 on the SAP Service Marketplace for manual installation.

Apple App Store - give icon and / or first line description when sharing.

Loving the new IOS7 and running on an iPad 3 (my son gave me this as he bought a mini). Myself and all my kids own either iPads or iPhones (4s & 5s) and we share a lot off ideas and App's with each other via iMessage. My idea is: when we browse the App Store and find something we want to share via iMessage it only sends the link, would be nice to have either the icon (visual attraction) and / or the first description line for what that app does sent with the iMessage.

You could also just take a screenshot by pressing the home button and lock button simultaneously and just send the picture of the app. They could then go and search the App Store for the product by name instead of linking directly to it. Just a thought...

Need to format comma separated values in address line in Adobe Forms

Hi All,
I have one text in which fields are separated by comma. I want to display the text in a text field. But whenever there is a comma the text following it needs to be printed in the same text field on new line.
Is there any way to achieve this.
e.g. if the address line 01 = ABC, 01/123 XYZ, 890776
then the output should be printed as follows
ABC
01/123 XYZ
890776

You need to put the code in the java script where you ll read the text in the texfield and then read it in diff var on the basis of the comma and then print the various var as an output.

SAP and standard email function in Adobe form

In SAP, we're using lifecycle designer 9, We're using standard email function (with a big pushbutton in our form). Ours issues are :
- we're not abble to change dynamically the mail object and body.
- we're not abble to add some secondary receivers in the mail.

We 've already try with a javascript but it produce a mix objet ...
