Fonts do not show up on websites and mail

Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting here and I have been searching around the web like crazy. I am also somewhat of a competent person with computers so I have already tried to figure things out myself.
Essentially what is happen is flash sites most will come up but the words will only show up as A with a square around it. now it is tolerable in google chrome, but I cant even read google in safari. Another issue is that certain emails will come up completely as the A square's.
Things I have done already, first i though it might have been just flash, so I completly uninstalled it with appcleaner, and reinstalled it. Then I used , Disk Utility to rebuild and repair my disk. Still nothing. I even used disk warrior 4.3 to do a complete rebuild of the disk. Nothing still.
So after that I decided to take all the variables out of the equation so I installed lion on a small pocket harddrive that has 50gb. Cleaned it out and after the install I updated lion and installed the most recent flash. and even on a Fresh install still no luck.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, also if you are confused on the font I am seeing, please just leave an email and I can send you a PDF of what I see in email as well as, a PDF print of a website.

Normally the ftp programs would be automatically set to UTF-8.
If that were always true, the question-mark problem would never arise here, but it still does. One reason is that there are people who still use Fetch 4, which is set to ISO-8859-1 unless you uncheck the box "Translate ISO Characters" as explained in my note.

Fonts are not showing properly when opened through mail?

When sending a PDF via email the Frutiger font does not appear properly on an iPad or iPhone. When viewed on an iPhone all the text appears as gradient boxes and when viewing on an iPad font becomes too light to be legible. Is this a problem with the font in the iOS platform? I also tried opening the file in iBooks and got the same outcome.

Does disabling hardware acceleration have a positive effect or is it still happening?

Sharepoint Report Subscriptions not showing on sharepoint website, but are in the database

Hi All,
We have had an issue which sharepoint where our subscriptions for reports "disappear" from the website. This makes is a little hard to edit them if we need to adjust the subscription. The funny thing is the subscription is still working as it is
generating emails.
I was able to check SQL and look at the ReportingService Database and I can see all the subscriptions listed in SQL.
So the subscriptions are there. The question is, why are they not showing on the website.
Here is a query I used to show the subscriptions:

Also I found the ReportZone Column had 2 results 0 or 3
I noticed everything that had a 0 showed on the website where 3 did not.
I also saw something saying this might have to do with the AAM and having different addresses, but we only have one address

Please provide some more detail. Are you on Windows or Mac? In which applications are the fonts not showing? And what do you mean by "not showing" (provide a screen shot if possible)?

Fonts details not showing correctly in Acrobat XI

Hi,
Previous i used Acrobat 8, there is no issues when i select character to check font name, but now i upgrade the Acrobat to XI, there is some issues when check fonts, its not showing its accurate Font name like
In Acrobat 8, Its showing correctly "MyriadPro-Light". I checked in Enfocus Pitstop Professional also.
But in Acrobat XI, it's showing as "MyriadPro" only. Its really critical issue in my working area. So please anybody try solve this issue.

Is this only with one file and if so can you share it? I can't reproduce what you're describing; the Acrobat XI document properties dialog reports the Postscript name of each font just as it always has done. Here's a demo in Acrobat XI Pro:

CS6 - Arial Narrow fonts do not show up

I installed CS6 on a brand new computer with Win 7 Pro 64 bit. The arial narrow font will not show up in the pull down menu for fonts. This seems to be a common problem as there are a lot of results when searched online. I tried several of the solutions, but none have worked. Some people have said it is a Microsoft Office thing. I found a hotfix for Office 2007, but I am using Office 2010 so the hotfix does not apply. Has anybody ever figured this out? Please help.

After signing in under "help" tab it does not show as signed in and watermark is still on paid version.
The adobe website shows that I have a Premier Elements serial number. I sat for 2 hours on hold with adobe chat with no results.
I uninstalled the faulty program and swep the drive with a registry cleaner and reinstalled the program with the same problem.
Running windows Vista
I installed the program on the C:drive adobe folder with all the other adobe programs and its there, but also there is a adobe Premier Elements 12 folder in "Customers" "Documents" is this normal.
The last time I had a instll problem was with Windows 3.0
Tech support was better then.

1. What happened with the idea to explore the Event Viewer for Error relating to what appears to me to be an product activation issue?
2. Have you contacted Adobe via its Adobe Chat to resolve this issue? Adobe is the only one who can resolve an activation issue.

I have pre-set the topic for Serial Number Issues and Activating My Product.
In Premiere Elements 12 Help Menu/Sign In Sign Out constitutes Activation and Deactivation respectively. I cannot see that Adobe can interpret that any other way.

like a say though, not showing up in itunes still
before it recently had this failure, it had shown up as corrupted and that it needed restoring (but i was holding off, as i manually managed all music and was hoping for a way to back it all up, to no avail)
first time posting here, would appreciate a quick answer because tempted to just click the 'restore device defaults' option

Fonts Do Not Display Correctly in Safari and Firefox

Certain fonts do not display smoothly in Safari and Firefox. They appear to have little pieces of the letters missing. I'm sure others have experienced this problem before but I could not find how to fix this. On the Apple Discussions the fonts look fine... on Google for example, they look messed up. I do not know specifically which font(s) are displayed weird but it happens frequently. This happens in Safari and Firefox on my MacPro and MacBookPro. Is there a setting to fix this?

Hello Flash, welcome to Apple discussions; )
Look for Helvetica Fractions and Times Phonetic Fonts, if you have them,
they can be the usual suspects.
Check the Text encoding in both Safari & FF, under the "View" menu.
In System preferences-> Personal (top section) in Appearance tab->
on the last portion of the panel Font smoothing Style: set that to Automatic

Look into this application to find any corrupt font[s]Font Finagler

I have the ipad, Iphone, and a mac mini. I am confused as to why my phone number is not showing up in imessage and facetime on my mac mini and ipad. I had it set up but for some reason it is not working now, it just shows my apple sign in email address. How can I fix this?

Here is a troubleshooting resources I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue.
Phone number missing on iPad or iPod touch
If your phone number isn't listed on an iPod touch or iPad, follow these steps:
Update to the latest version of iOS.
Verify that you're using the same Apple ID that you're using on your iPhone.
On your iPad or iPod touch, sign out of your Apple ID in the following locations:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Sign in to your Apple ID with FaceTime and iMessage.
If your phone number still isn't listed, follow these steps:
Sign out of your Apple ID on all iOS devices, including your iPhone, in the following locations:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Sign in to your Apple ID on your iPhone.

I am having the same problem, i edited everything multiple times, sometime my album artwork will show up and then disappear after time. I have tried everything, even wiping my ipads music library and changing each file to AAC format, the artwork remains in my itunes when i pull up a song but as soon as i transfer the music to my ipad, everything loads successfully...EXCEPT the album artwork. Really annoying!! I really wish i could find an answer before I load all of my music back on and just give up on the search for answers,

First of all does, the iPod power on okay?
Have you tried plugging the iPod into a different USB ports, preferably a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC tower (these are directly soldered onto the motherboard and receive much high outputs of power than the ones on the front).
What about a different USB sync cable?
What shows up on the iPod's screen when you connect it? Does it charge at all? Maybe try resetting it with it still connected to your PC. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
