Fonts In Adobe Buzzword

I am new to the Adobe Buzzword. I went to the Help section of
Buzzword and I saw a section entitled Adding and Editing Content.
But I didn't read anything about where one could possibly add more
fonts to do your documents. There are very few fonts and most of
them are not even the standard ones. Is there a way that I can add
more fonts to the Adobe Buzzword? If so, would you tell me how?

Currently we don't import fonts, but we're looking into
adding more for the future! Keep checking back! :)

How to install fonts in Adobe Livecycle Designer

Hi All,
   I want to install new fonts in adobe LiveCycle designer.
   I installed this fonts in Control Panel >Fonts>File -->Install New Fonts and it is possible to see them in Livecycle Designer but when i preview the adobe print form this not work.
I found in the installation of the ADS configuration Guide this informations.
Adobe document services require access to fonts that are installed with the Font Manager Module. This module contains a number of Adobe bundled fonts installed in /usr/sap//j2ee/os_libs/adssap/FontManagerService/fonts/adobe.

i.      Expand "Server à Services "

Also restart the application com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices
Expand "Server à Services à Deploy"
Select the "Applications" button at the bottom of the screen
Stop and start the com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices application

Error code 50 while trying to download a font from adobe creative cloud

I received a error code 50 while trying to download a font from adobe creative cloud saying that the "Creative Cloud desktop failed to update" and that I should contact customer service. How should I resolve this issue?

Installing & Using a Font in Adobe Photoshop - Kindly Help me

My name is Kush and I'm from India.
Friends, I have Windows XP and I desperately need to use this Font called "Arsalannian" The problem is that it is not compatible with Windows XP and so I'm not able to install it in Windows. I need to use this font in Adobe Photoshop.

Friends, is there any way that I can use this font in Adobe Photoshop Directly. Is there any way that I can type the Title (just 2 words) that I want in this Font, in some other application (is there any such online or OS independent text application that does not require the font to be installed in Windows) and then copy and paste it in Adobe Photoshop ?
I do have a scan of the Title that I want to use as a Jpeg Image, but I want it as a Text.
Will be a great help if you can kindly guide me on how to do this or any way to use / load the font in Adobe Photoshop. Please help me Friends.

that font file looks like it's corrupted. Not much you can do about it other than trying to download it from another location. (things like this happen from time to time with free fonts)

Exception thrown while processing pdf file with composite fonts using adobe pdf library (v 9.1 )

Hi All,
I have an issue with processing composite fonts with adobe pdf library (v 9.1 ).
While processing a pdf file having composite fonts, the pdf library is throwing an exception.
The api which throwed exception is "PDPageAcquirePDEContent()". In my code i am calling PDDocGetNumPages(), PDDocAcquirePage() before this api is called, but all those functions suceeded. In the HANDLER, using the ASGetErrorString(), i got this exception error as "The encoding (CMap) specified by a font is missing."
Now coming to the input file (which is also attached), this document have three different composite fonts ( details are given below )
Font Name : TicketBold, Bold(Embedded)
Font Type : Trueype (CID)
Encoding : Identity-H
Font Name : Times-Roman (Embedded)
Font Type : Type 1 (CID)
Encoding : Identity-H
Font Name : TimesNewRomanPSMT (embedded)
Font Type : TrueType(CID)
Encoding: Identity-H
If i convert all the composite fonts to outline using pitstop before processing, it works fine.
So my question is that whether pdf library doesnt support composite fonts (which i dont think so ) or i need to do a special handling for these kinds of fonts in my application ( which i strongly belive ). If its the latter case, please let me know how to handle it in my application.

Thanks for your reply. May i ask you which sample of the PDF Library you used to test my scenario.
One question i would like to put to you beofre going for filing a formal issue to Adobe will be does this issue has anything to do with the initialization of the pdf library?
What i meant is that when we call the PDFLInit() we pass a PDFLDataRec structure which is initialized by various path to font folders, cmap folders and unicode folders. Whether if i miss any of these folders will it cause this issue???

Change font in Adobe Acrobat Extended Pro

I was wondering how I am able to change the font in Adobe Acrobat. I know we can use the type writer, but how can I make it my own font, color and size? Please help! =)

You cannot create fonts with Acrobat.
Doing so requires a dedicated font creation application.
Or purchas of Fonts to augment what the OS and applications install.
To change fonts in a PDF to something else that is on the local machine and available to Acrobat you could try this:
Select characters with the TouchUp Text too.
Right click for the context menu.
Select Properties.
Select the Text tab.
Look over the configuration options to see if they meet your needs.

Unable to see a font in Adobe Type Kit from within Adobe Muse

While I am able to install a font, Fertigo Pro from Adobe Type Kit, am unable to see the same font in Adobe Type Kit from within Adobe Muse.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. From http://help.typekit.com/customer/portal/articles/1189216-introduction-to-desktop-fonts-fro m-typekit: You are now able to sync fonts from Typekit to your desktop via Adobe Creative Cloud and use them in all your applications for web mockups, print design, word processing, and more.
Using of a font for web mockups is not the same as using it as a web font on a live website. The two uses are covered by different font licenses.
You can use a desktop synced font in Muse as a system font and export it as an image. But to use a Typekit web font in Muse is not currently supported (though you can try the Muse Insider workflow referred to in the other forum post I mentioned above).
Hope this clarifies things a bit.

Change font in Adobe Form in the interface

Hi all,
I have one issue changing the font in adobe forms.
In the interface I have as import one string. With this string I have to generate the PDF and I need to change the font.
Here is an example:
Import string: "this is an [[FONT=CURIEL]]example of [[N]] adobe [[SIZE=15]] forms"
the characters [[ ]] indicate an scape sequence.
[[FONT=CURIEL]] means that all the following text should be in curiel font.
[[N]] means new line
[[SIZE=15]] menas that all the following text should be in size 15.
All this text I has to be added to a string variable and paste in the PDF.
I know that I can add a new line with "cl_abap_char_utilities=>newline"
I know that with Javascrit I can change the font and the size, but for that I have to change all the text.
Is there any way to change some text inside the variable and not all of it?

Install a font in adobe premiere

Hello!
Could somebody suggest please, how to install True Type font in Adobe Premiere CS3, so I can use it in editing?
The font is downloaded from www.cooltext.com
The thing is it doesn't appear in Font Library in Adobe Premiere, but it does appear in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
I pasted the font in all font folders I could find...
Where could be the problem that I don't see it in Premiere..?

Ann,
That was a nice trick that you taught me some months ago!
Works a treat for doing a preview of a font, that is on the computer, but not officially installed in Windows/Fonts.
To the OP, most apps. will see all, but only, fonts that are installed on the system (Ann's trick aside), but not all. I believe that ALL Adobe programs will see all correctly, non-corrupted fonts that are installed.

Times font in Adobe PDF

Hallo Framers,
Using Frame 7.1, Windows XP.
I use the Adobe PDF driver in Frame with the SetPrint utility. My problem is that our Style Guide demands the Times font and Adobe PDF converts this to Times New Roman.
My colleaguse use a local postscript printer which does have Times, but I get errors using this (IT have so far been unable to mend it).
Can I persuade Adobe PDF to accept the Times font? If not, it seems that "Frame best practice" (use Adobe PDF) is incompatible with our style guide (use Times). And obviously the style guide takes priority.

I'm unsure that there's a significant difference to the reader between
Times and Times New, but the problem is that your colleagues are using
the fonts ON THE PRINTER, not on their computers. Unless the printer
manufacturer provided the fonts on a CD to install them on the
computer, it's unlikely that those fonts are actually being
incorporated in your co-worker's PDFs. And if they are, it's highly
unlikely (but possible) that those fonts are licensed for inclusion in
a PDF -- if you're concerned about the legality of that, you should
check the actual PDFs with Acrobat's preflight tool.
If I were you, I'd buy a legal copy of Times, or simply ask the
keepers of the style guide if Times New can be substituted if your
system doesn't have Times.

MICR font in Adobe Form

Hi All,
I am working on Adobe Form for A/P Check(Cheque) through F110 transaction. In Adobe Live cycle Designer(and in ADS), I don't see MICR font option in the list of available fonts. I know it's there in smartforms and Scripts. But how can I get the font in Adobe?
I already searched in the forum but didn't get any solution. I appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

I have a requirement,where in we have to fit 12 characters in a space of 90 mm with helvetica narrow font,
We tried the percentage of text in palletes but we cant fit in.

Problem using Gotham font in Adobe Muse

I am working on a web design project using Adobe Muse for my client who uses predominantly Gotham. They own most of the Gotham font family in .otf and they also have the Gotham SSm (Screen Smart Font) for web use. When trying to load the font to Adobe Muse as a self-hosted web font, Muse cannot load it because the following web fonts formats are missing: .woff, .eot and .svg. Muse also requires that the .ttf font is installed as as a system font. My client only has .otf font. Does this mean that we cannot use Gotham in Muse? Or is there a way around this?

As described in Adobe Muse Help | Typography, Muse can work with .otf fonts as system fonts. .woff/.eot fonts are, however, required for self-hosting.
Also. if your client has access to Gotham Screen Smart web fonts via a Cloud.Typography subscription, note that the Cloud.Typography terms of service do not allow you to serve web fonts in a self-hosted manner. They are are required to be served using their delivery agent via the CSS key mechanism. Cloud.typography Terms of Service | Hoefler & Co.

Using an icon font in Adobe Premiere Pro

Hello,
i want to use an icon font (e.g. Font Awesome) with Adobe Premiere Pro. I installed the font on my PC. If i copy an icon from the character map to the title creator, it does not get displayed.
If I do the same in Adobe Illustrator it works perfectly!
Is there a way to use icon fonts in Adobe Premiere Pro? If not, how can i create title fastest in anothere Adobe App and import this title to Adobe Premiere Pro?

I checked both fonts and they both have got an .ttf version installed on my PC. I found out that for example the "heart icon" works fine in both fonts and is exactly the icon from the fonts character map. This might be because this icon can be created by typing "Alt" and "Num 3".
The other icons still don't work. Might someone cross check the font (http://www.entypo.com/) with his own version of Premiere Pro? Maybe this helps.
