Fonts in lots of pages look "empty", but after reinstal it shows right

After starting Mozilla FireFox application I try to open pages.
Some of those pages show messed up fonts (Letters looks empty with border).
After reinstalling default system font "Tahoma" into Windows Fonts directory and refreshing page they looks correctly.
After restart of computer procedure repeats.

You can use this extension to see which fonts are used for selected text.

You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).

Pages looks fine but prints blank

Using Pages in page layout mode, starting with a blank template, portrait 8.5 x 11.
The composed page looks fine on the screen but shows up completely blank on the printer. Tried PDF, Preview etc. all blank. The content even shows blank in the printer dialog. I'm baffled.

Duh! I have (embarassingly) solved my problem!
Somehow I had left the option "even Pages only" turned on and as there was only a single page I was printing a null set. Unfortunately the print dialog says something like 'using latest settings' and doesn't list them so it took me a while to realize the error. I've only been using a Mac since 1985 after all!

Website has many drop-down menus. Once selected, user updates the page based on selections. Unable to select more than 1 option at a time. Is there a setting to fix this? I was able to do before, but after reinstall, it has stopped.

This occurs on any website with active menu drop-downs. I am able to select the 1st drop-down, but must then load the page and do the next drop-down. I used to be able to make every selection at once and then reload the page to reflect all of those options.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

When I load an index.html file, the page looks fine, but when I refresh, the page shrinks.

I am using Dreamweaver. I open an index.html file in Firefox and it looks fine. When I make changes, and then refresh in Firefox, the page will shrink. If I close out Firefox and open the file in Firefox, it's fine until it's refreshed and then it shrinks again.
The file has one background image that is 1024px by 768px. I made sure the browser was completely open and I have a 27 inch monitor, so there is no reason for it to shrink down.
I've opened the same file in Chrome and Explorer and this doesn't happen.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox hoping this would help, but it didn't.
Suggestions on how to make this stop?

When I go to a website the main page looks normal but when I try to go to a secondary page it is a mess. it diesn't happen in internet explorer so the problem has to be with firefox. What do I do

I updated my Ipod Touch last night, it went through all the processes and said it complete - but now when I select any app - it flickers and goes back to the homescreen. Also, all my music/books are gone.

My ipod looks empty but the memory is full of all my songs! HELP PLEASE

when I turn on my nano.. it's empty! So I plugged it into my USB port and it connects to my iTunes, and the screen is completely empty from all my songs! iPod seems totally blank. The only thing is I still have 3.33GB of space taken up.
So now I can't put all my songs on.. I can't delete the ones there cause there appears to be none! ahhh
Can anyone help me with this problem?

It would appear that the iPod hard drive or iPod software has become corrupt. This doesn't mean that the songs are not on your iPod, hence the fact that the iPod reports used space and iTunes may show them.
You should restore the iPod and then reload the songs from iTunes.

Dear Helper, I have problems watching Youtube movies. The page looks ok, but the movie turns black after a second. What could be the problem?

Cursor/page looks "busy" even after retrieving all data?

Hello,
I created a page with several report regions, each of which runs a query against a single remote database. The performance of retrieving the info seems fine, except I am noticing some behavior that I don't know if it's normal or not.
After the data is returned for all the report regions, the browser's status bar and progress meter continue to indicate "transferring data from server", and the cursor is the pointer/hourglass (busy but still responsive) for about 10 seconds. The page is still responsive, but it seems like there is data being transferred (also confirmed by the network connection icon), but I have no idea what.
Any idea as to why this is happening? Is it normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When I browse the link from my build link i see busy status.
It shows loading history.htm from server.
Even though the page is loaded.
Could be htnl wrapper isuue?

After publishing (using iWeb) content looks fine, but pagenames don't show!

Pagenames/buttons like Home, Contact and all are not visible when opening site from server (see www.unitedsigns.nl). On my mac everything is fine. I published it to a usb-stick, and fine too. But on a windows laptop it is not.
I've done it many times before (see www.unitedtextile.nl) (and see buttons on top) and never had such problems. Did not get help from provider.

The reason that the navbar for your www.unitedsigns.nl site isn't being display is because not all of the necessary file are getting uploaded to the server. Open the Activity window (CommandOptionA) for that site (in Safari) you'll see that a number of files in the Scripts folder are missing.
How are you uploading the files to the server? If it's with iWeb's built in FTP client try the following:
1- publish you site to a folder on your HD.
Click to view full size
2 - download and use Cyberduck to upload the site folder to the server.
To fix just his problem at this time you can use Cyberduck to upload just the Scripts folder for the site. If you have problems with uploading from iWeb at a later date then you can use CD routinely to upload the site's files as described in the tutorial.
More on this can be found in this tutorial: #2 - Uploading only those published new or newly edited files when using a 3rd party FTP client.
Many users have found switching to Cyberduck fixed their uploading problem. Worth a try.

Ipad 3 update to ios 7 looked oke, but after using it, only white screen

I ipdated my iPad. I had set up everything and was working oke. Now after a couple of hours when I want to open Ipad I Groeten, white screens. So i reset the ipad using top and bottom buttons. No i get grey and black screen. Cannot put a back-up on Ipad. Need to turn of search ipad on Ipad. But that doesn't work. Can somebody help me?

How do I get my iPhone number to be the sender and receiver of the iMessages? It was until I created and logged in to my iCloud account, but after that it shows it as my email.

I need to know how to be able to set my iPhone number as my iMessage sender & receiver. It shows my number, but it's like blacked out where I can't choose it.. PLEASE HELP! It's about to drive my crazy!

What options you have under "Start new conversation from"?
