Fonts on desktop app but not on ipad app

There is a font called Chalkboard SE on the iPhone/iPad Keynote app but in the Work Desktop app the font is only called Chalkboard not with the SE on the end.
Once I transfer my presentation to the iPhone it say the font is missing (the Chalkboard one I used on my desktop) and it replacces it with Chalkduster although the iPad app have Chalkboard SE - that is the same as just Chalkboard.
I can't go and change all the fonts to SE on the iPhone (to small of a work space) I will change the fonts to SE if I can just get it on the Keynote desktop app.
I have looked ALL over for the font but NO luck
Please advice or help anyone.

NO I don't think so this is something that should be done by Apple, that is what we pay for, Apple advertise it as "work on your mac and carry on working where you left off on your iPad".

Slideshow works on desktop viewer, but not on iPad

I have an MSO slideshow that works great on the desktop viewer, but when previewed on the iPad it just shows the first state and doesn't transition to the next state.
We have made slideshows before that work on both the desktop and iPad content viewer and can't seem to figure out what is causing these not to work. The filename links don't have any special characters or spaces in them. What causes this to happen?

By any chance, do you link to the MSO from buttons in a scrollable frame? If so, you need to use a different method to convert the MSO to a slideshow. For example, you can select the MSO and choose "Swipe" in the Overlays panel, or you can create an invisible button with a "Go to Next State" action.

Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ?

Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ? iPad only prints 4x6 on full size paper. It's an HP 8600.

I also have this problem printing photos from an iPad to an Epson WF-2540 printer. It prints only 4x6 and without border (so print starts at extreme top left corner of paper). Borderless printing is not selected on printer. Printing a square photo just crops to 4x6 size.

The applications will launch in desktop mode but not in a windows 8.1 app I am hoping for help with this I have tried everything to fix crashing or slowness and have reinstalled the program in aurora nightly or even firefox beta forms. Help!

I would assume the options to switch into it would be the same. I can't confirm though since I don't run Windows 8.

V18 works on content viewer desktop, but not on iPad

I am doing a farily complex show/hide MSO using v18 of the tools, it works great on the desktop viewer, but not on the iPad. The initial go to state xxx doesn't even work. Is this a known bug? What could be causing this?

I think I tracked down what is happening:
If I download the article/use the article in the middle of when the whole folio is downloading, the mso does not work. But if I wait for the entire folio to download it works fine. This is very strange. Even if I hit the home button after downloading an individual article then go back (while the folio is still downloading it works)

My iPhone phone number appeared as a recipient option on my mac as soon as I launched Messages on my iPhone but not on the iPad and I can't find a way to add it.

You do not have an app but you can setup your iMessage on the iPhone and switch it on (as it is since you receive messages on the iPhone).
In the same setup screen under iMessage you should have send receipt, send as SMS and also Send and Receive howmanyadress > Click on here and you will enter a new screen.
On top there should be you Apple ID and under your phone number. Under the phone number you can add some Mail adress to be used for iMessage. I believe it is important ot have the Apple ID on the top of this screen and at least one Apple Mail checked as to be used for iMessage.
This should be enought to get iMessage both on iPhone and Mac.
Try this and let iCloud to sync for few minutes and you should have the data on the Mac too.

How far do you get trying to log in?
1. Will it not let you enter your username and password?
2. Does it reject your known-valid username and password?
2.1 Did you notice that it tends to uppercase the first letter of the username (possibly causing a mismatch)?
2.2 Do you get the generic red "Please enter a correct username and/or password." message or something more specific?
3. Does it accept them and take you somewhere useless or broken?

It's a glitch with facebook. All you can do is wait for FB to fix it or find a work around like third party apps that might work better

You need a third party app to do that. Look at Mail Shot or Group Email in the app store. You cannot do it with the built in mail app and the contacts app in iOS 5 without a third party app.

If only one device is not getting updated data, you need to troubleshoot that device and not photostream itself.
Verify that ipad is connected to wifi, charged over 20 percent, camera app is closed and take a photo of the screen (or anything else, but then close that camera app).
Open photostream folder on that ipad and see if picture shows up. If you network is good, should not take long.
Don't forget that while your phone can use wifi and cellular (even it suppose to use wifi for photostream, cellular networks got much better since original photostream was implemented) - you ipad is probably wifi only.
If picture shows up - you ipad and photostream have no problems and you can go to other devices one by one.

Why is my Apple id working on my MacBook but not my iPad? I can log in o.k. on my MacBook, but using the same user name and password on my iPad, I just get the Incorrect Apple ID or Password message.
on my iPad, I have used the Forgotten Apple ID or Password link and reset the password. Even after I get the successfully reset password message it still gives me the Incorrect Apple ID or Password message!
In desperation I have restored the iPad to Factory settings. It appears to be running OS 7. something.
My Macbook is running 10.8.5.
But the same problme persists.

Because the iPad requires a lot more power to charge than your iPhone, and typically car and computer USB ports simply don't proivide that much.
Its the same reason your iPhone comes with a 5Watt charger (and even then the iPhone only uses part of that) while the iPads come with the 10 or 12 watt charger.
They just need more power.

Why do fonts appear in Keynote, but not in Font Folder?

I made a misguided move in adding fonts through Font Book and am trying to restore my fonts to a previous iteration. Strangely though, the fonts appear in Keynote, but not in the usual Fonts folders. Can anyone shed light on why this might be the case? More information can be found, under the Mavericks discussion forum, here.

As is my guess, there is now something wrong with those fonts. There are utilities, that can possibly repair them - two mentioned in the article. If you have a backup of the fonts, from when they worked, perhaps just going to that, and reinstalling them will solve the issue. I'd hate to think that they might have to be acquired all over again, but that might be "plan D."
Periodically, I will copy all of my fonts to DVD (now - used to be CD), just to have them available for new computers, or OS's. Over the decades, I have lost a few to corruption, that could not be repaired. In several cases, I had an older BU, that did work, but have had to buy a few again. Just checked on my workstation, and I've got 19,362, though seldom more than about 350 ever installed at one time.
This reminds me that it's about time to do another BU, as I will be getting a new workstation and laptop fairly soon, and will need to transfer my fonts to them.
Good luck, and hope that things can be saved - I hate to loose a favorite font.
