Fonts used in presentation - Way to display list?

I've searched all over and can't find an answer to this. Maybe I didn't word my search right. Anyway, is there a way to list all the fonts used in a presentation so I can make sure that someone else knows what fonts they will need to display the presentation?
I always try to use common use fonts, but sometimes that's not possible.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know if you've tried it, but if you look at the fonts list in the top left hand corner, you'll see a light gray line towards the top. The fonts listed above that line should be the ones you've most recently used. Presumably, those will be the ones in the presentation.

Probably your best bet would be to browse the websites or catalogs of other software stores to see what strikes you as professional, and use that as an inspiration to design your own.

I can think of a few different ways to present a list of 15-30 software titles with prices (one column, two column, sub-categorized by maker, sub-categorized by function, sub-categorized by sale vs. regular price), but only you have the knowledge to know what system is most likely to appeal to your customers and match the overall graphic presentation of your store.

Using Stage3D in tandem with Display List

Can it be done? Like... using Stage 3D but also using Flex Buttons or some old-fashioned drawing via Sprite / Shape?

Definitely. We got quite a lot of stuff already built via Flex, or, my case, my own UI library. I would hate to lose that once I go 3D. This is one of the things which makes me most happy about FP 11.
Practically, HUDs & Shops and stuff like that will get their own rendering, while the game has its own stuff via the 3D renderer.

Display list on selection-screen

Hello everyone,
I've got a question concerning selection screen. I want to know, if there is a way to display list/table on selection screen after user input. Specifically, when user enters for example 30 invoice numbers into select-options, I need those 30 numbers displayed on the same selection screen.

Your iPod touch running OS 4.2 has a ZOOM feature which will enable you to see the screen more clearly.
To turn Zoom on or off got to:

_Large Text_:
Large Text lets you make the text larger in alerts, and in Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes. You can choose 20-point, 24-point, 32-point, 40-point, 48-point, or 56-point text.
Set the text size: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility, tap Large Text, then tap the text size you want.
I hope this has helped a little - other than this option I think it pretty much is what it is.

Displaying Windows True Type fonts using Java 1.1.x

Can anyone shed some light on why I cant just use the name of the fon't I want to display? Here is the code I'm using:

sFontName is the name of the font, and it works with the font names that are garaunteed by Java (i.e. Dialog, DialogInput, Monospaced, Serif, SansSerif, or Symbol), but if I try to use a true type font name such as "Tahoma" it just loads the default font instead. Is there a different method required to load system dependant fonts?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If your font is properly installed (i.e. in the fonts folder and you've performed a restart) then it should work. I have code in the splash screen for an open source project like this:
subTitleLbl.setFont (new java.awt.Font ("Lucida Blackletter", 0, 18));Which works if the font is properly installed. Otherwise, it simply grabs the system font, as you indicated.
I've done some searching, and haven't found a way to load a font into java. Java won't do it because it's not platform independent.
Fortunately, this code works even if the font is not present--it just won't have the font you want.

Using a devices camera and adding the image to the display list

Hi,
My students and I have not been able to make an AIR app that can take a picture using the devices camera and then add the image to the display list. We are able to open the devices camera and of course take a picture, but that's it.
We've been using these two tutorials/examples:

Do I have to add the picture to the cameraroll in order to add it to the AIR apps display list?
Both examples from Adobe claim that their examples work. Do they not?
In the example, the event handler asyncImageLoaded is never called. The output text field shows -   result_txt.text = "Asynchronous media promise."; So the Event.COMPLETE is being added. But I don't think it's being dispatched.
Any ideas?

Programmatically list the fonts used in a PDF

I want to make a list of all the fonts used in a PDF. After reading (again) the ISO-32000 standard, I tend to think that the only way is to cycle through the pages and list the fonts used in each one.
Is there any other (and faster) way to do this?

Nope - that's the only way.
And don't forget, that you can NOT just look at the Page's Resource dict. You need to do a full recursive walk down the content stream finding all graphic objects that themselves have resources. Oh, and don't forget Annotations!

List fonts used in a document, search by font.

Help! I cannot find a way to list, by name, of the fonts used (past tense) in a document. Like in the document properties: where the word and character count is.
Example: The author used Arial, Arial Condensed and OCR A in her document. I would like to see a list of three font names. If I have (or don't have) those fonts is outside the scope of this request.
Simply smashing the styles of a document and then restylng by hand is not working so well for me. Most of the documents used manual formatting instead of styles too!
Second: I can search and replace text if it had a font applied to it, but I cannot specify the font to search on. ANY font will be match and changed to the 'replace' style. Any solution?

I created a brochure in pages and exported it to a pdf format. The pdf looks and opens perfectly using preview but when opened in adobe reader (which my printer uses), fonts look odd, transparencies don't display...etc. Tells me error exists on page?

Does this essentially mean there is no way to fix this problem on my end? It's a pity because the design and branding of my brochure will suffer if I remove transparencies and use different fonts. It also concerns me moving forward because it means the quality of print on my pieces will be significantly lower because most commercial printers use Adobe products.

Currently I am using �Sun Java� Wireless Toolkit 2.5 for CLDC, Beta 2 � toolkit for developing J2ME applications. I am using the �javax.microedition.amms.control.imageeffect� package(JSR 234) for adding effects like red eye, border, etc. I need to display all the images in my /res folder so that the user can select one from the list for further image processing. I used File Connection API for displaying the images from the file system's /root folder. But while trying to apply the image effects I found that I can not access the file system's /root folder through getResourceAsStream(). getResourceAsStream()could only access the /res folder . Is this correct? Is there any other way to give the InputStream to the media processor through setInput()? Is there any other alternative to getResourceAsStream()? Or Is there any direct way to access the /res folder and display all its files for the user to select?

you need to set resource path correct place image file resource folder is correct but there is problem so yu need put the image in resource in this way C:\WTK23\apps\Image\res\example\hello\image.gif this work

Best way to organize a display list?

I tried organizing a display list by using setChildIndex(player, numChildren - 5); etc.
But it get's all mixed up with the other objects and sometimes shows on top or bottom of expected.
Is there a good way to keep the objects organized, so it can be displayed line by line from top to bottom?

Usually if you want something handled one by one you would use an array or some simiar data structure that maintains the desired order such that you can step thru it and process its elements in that order.

It sounds like Target Display Mode may be what you are looking for:
Target Display Mode lets you use a Mac as the external display for another “primary” Mac. In some cases, you can also play the sound from your primary Mac on the speakers of the external Mac. For example, a MacBook Pro could use a 27-inch iMac as the display and play its audio on the iMac as well.

Use an iMac with Thunderbolt as a display
If you have an iMac with Thunderbolt, any other Mac with Thunderbolt can use it as a display. The iMac will play both the video and audio from the other Mac.
1. Connect the Thunderbolt cable to the Thunderbolt ports on each computer.
2. Make sure both Mac computers are turned on and awake.
3. Press Command (⌘)-F2 on the keyboard of the external display Mac.
4. If you want the external display Mac to play audio as well as video from the primary Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Sound, and then click Output. Select the external display Mac from the list of devices.
