Footer looks normal in Muse but adds extra space beneath it on some pages.

I've had a weird issue recently that I can't figure out how to fix. The problem only occurs on certain pages and not all pages. I have attached two screenshots showing the footer at the bottom of the page as it appears in Muse and then the footer with extra space beneath it as it appears on the website.
I have tried turning off sticky footers among other solutions and nothing has fixed it so far. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Make sure all your Masters and Pages have Sticky Footer on in Page Properties.
Also, I see that in your Masters, the Footer Guide and Bottom of Page Guide overlaps, while the Bottom of Browser Guide is down below.
You need to ensure that your Footer Guide is above the footer content and both the Bottom of Page Guide and Bottom of Browser Guide overlap each other and lie at the bottom edge of the footer content.
That should fix those.
Cheers,
Vikas

    I made an iMovie, 6.0.3 using music from iTunes and photos from the Internet. It looked fine on iMovie, but when I uploaded it to youtube, some of the photo near the beginning were corrupted on youtube. I tried a different photo, and the corruption took place at the same moment of the video. How do I prepare the video for export to get it ready for youtube? I wasn't sure whether to clik web or web streaming. Am I supposed to clik Quick Time after I clik Share?

    I unfortunately cannot remember where I got the 'trrndlines' plugin... I assume that it must have been from CFX (as it is located under /Users/Dom/Library/iMovie/Plug-ins/cfx/XXXtrrndlines.bundle).
    As for what it does, I also do not know, as I do not think I ever used it in my previous video projects.
    At this stage, I think I just need to uninstall it so that iMovie doesnt try to use it.
    Do you know how to uninstall a CFX plugin in iMovie?
    NOTE: I have re-installed iMovie 6.0.4 (instead of iMovie 6.0.3), but still encounter the same issue.

  • Website looks normal in FF but not in IE

    Someone made this website for my volleyball club in
    dreamweaver, and the size looks normal in FF. I made some changes
    to the template (sidenote: I pretty much have no idea what i'm
    doing) and I think messed something up. Now in FF the size looks
    normal, but in IE the website is too large. Can someone please help
    me?
    the website is www.cobbatlanta.com
    Thanks!

    You do have a few errors in your html. They "shouldn't" be causing any issue, but you should clean them up either way. Run your page through the validator here:http://validator.w3.org to get a list.
    I'm betting your IE has a much smaller width viewport than Firefox?
    Your logo breaks out of the container <div> on narrow viewports. Is that what you're seeing?
    EDIT: If that's the problem you are seeing, it can be fixed pretty easily. Without changing anything else, adding a min-width to your #container div should fix it. In your ac. css file, change...
    #container{
        margin: 60px auto 15px auto;
        width: 60%;
        padding: 10px;
        background-color: #000000;
        color: #ffffff;
        border: 1px solid #ffffff;
    to
    #container{
        margin: 60px auto 15px auto;
        width: 60%;
        padding: 10px;
        background-color: #000000;
        color: #ffffff;
        border: 1px solid #ffffff;
        min-width: 750px;
    So the outer border can't collapse past the logo

  • Firefox copy feature always adds extra space before or after when double clicking to select text

    I have only just started using Firefox but I've noticed a strange "feature" (I'm not sure if it's a feature or a bug, thus the quotes). I'm used to Opera and IE where by when I double click some text the text will be automatically selected. Firefox does something like this but for some reason I don't yet understand it adds an extra space at the beginning or end of the selection. This is a problem for someone like me who for work does a lot of copy and paste. I use web software that is intolerant of extra spaces and this feature/bug is going to end up causing some major issues.
    Is there a way to alter this behavior so that it behaves more like all my other computer programs? Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Not sure if this will help with your issue, but can try.
    In the URL bar type about:config
    Then change layout.word_select.eat_space_to_next_word to false.

  • Snippet adds extra space in design view

    Hi All,
    I've created a supercript snippet that is set to wrap with
    design view preview (just sup tags before and after the selection).
    If I select the text to apply the snippet in design view then
    dreamweaver adds an extra space in front of the 'after' block, it
    doesn't if I select the text in code view.
    Does anyone know a way to make this work properly in design
    view as having to do it in code view all the time is just
    really annoying?
    Cheers,
    Tosh

  • URGENT -- Printing reports adds extra spaces in between pages

    Hello Experts,
    I would like to ask for your help regarding printing from concurrent requests.
    I am currently having an issue with printing multiple pages from Oracle reports, both in text format and RTF/PDF formats.
    When I generate a multiple page report and print it directly from a concurrent request, print outs generate extra space after each page even though page size is indicated in the reports (all of them are in letter size).
    I have already tried editing the printer drivers both the actual driver config file and through the application but the results are still the same.
    This is very important since printing is done on continuous paper and continuous pre-printed forms
    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • Browser extra space to the right of page

    Hi,
    I hope someone may be able to help, I have noticed the website in the link below has about an inch of extra space to the right of the page.  The header and footer containers are all set to fit the browser width so I'm baffled as to why this extra space is visible.  I removed the image but it didn't make any difference.

  • Issue with photos in iMovie - looks normal in timeline but won't play

    I'm having an issue with importing photos into iMovie. I've done it many a time without trouble but suddenly, when I really need it...ahh!
    The problem is with a video I've already exported once—I'm not sure if that's related. I created a slide in Powerpoint, made it into a jpg, then dragged it into my timeline (also something I've done before without issue). It looks totally normal in the timeline, but when I play the video it shows a still from the previous clip instead of my photo. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

    Gah. This is where I'm at...I'm using the code from above and
    my mp3 sound file is ID'd in the linkage properties as monkey7.mp3
    and it's still not working.
    What buttons should be checked in the Linkage properties? If
    my id is monkey7.mp3 and I check the Export for ActionScript
    button, my sound file plays multiple times and it still won't stop.
    If I do the same thing but ID it as "monkey7.mp3", it plays
    correctly but won't stop.
    I don't know if this matters but my mc where my sound file is
    located is one frame. Is that correct?
    I'm sure the code is correct but I'm missing something and I
    can't figure it out!

  • I need an add on that stops "flashing" gifs some pages are using.Is there an add-on that will stop this and not interfere w/reg videos?

    Flashing videos (or stop motion/strobe videos) make me physically ill. They affect my eyesight and make me dizzy and nauseous. More and more web sites today are doing this, here is an example: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/golf-devil-ball-golf/phil-mickelson-sinks-monster-putt-to-start-back-nine-211512594.html
    I only have to see them for a few seconds (while the page is loading and before I can close it) and it me. Is there a Mozilla/Firefox add on that I can use to disable these 6-10sec flashers and not affect other video watching? Please help! Thanks

    There can be various way to animate images.
    In this case it is an animated image and you can set the <b>image.animation_mode</b> pref to "once" on the <b>about:config</b> page to animate such an image only once or use "none" to block the animation completely.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Animated_images
    You can look at the SuperStop extension that allows to stop animated GIF images via Shift+Esc:
    * https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/superstop/
    Other pages may use other means like displaying a sequence on images via JavaScript or Flash objects.

  • Looping issue and extra space after inserting in DW page

    I found an answer to looping an Edge composition, works like a charm in publish preview, still won't loop live on the web. Also when I insert it, it leaves a gap at bottom even though the div is 250 px high and the composition is 250px high... see www.arkaytd.com/dev2, note the gap between the edge composition and the navigation bar. Did not see anything  in the code that would cause it...

    Should I insert it here in the page source code?:
    <object id="EdgeID" type="text/html" width="980" height="250" data-dw-widget="Edge" data="edgeanimate_assets/ArkayIntro/Assets/ArkayIntro.html">    </object>
    Or in the .css file for the page?
    .AnimationPanel {
      clear: both;
      min-height: 250px;
      width: auto;
      display: block;
    Here: is the URL for the animation:

  • JAVA mapping using SAX parser adds extra tags

    Hi,
      We are using  java mapping using a SAX parser.It works well in standalone application ie it parses correctly and gets our desired xml structure and the xml is well formed too but when we import it in XI as a jar file it does not throw any errors but adds extra start tags, as a result the output xml is not well formed.XI is adding extra start tags.
    If any one else has faced a similar situation please help.
    Regards,
    Anirban.

    Hi Roberto,
    Thank you for the response.
    As I said, it doesnt throw any error. It is working perfectly in standalone application. But when we deploy it to XI Server, it is not forming the well formed XML. We too are puzzled by this situation.
    Okay, i will explain my scenario here.
    The following is my input XML to the java pgm..
    <Header>
    </Header>
    <Body>
    </Body>
    <SubBody1>
    </SubBody1>
    <SubBody2>
    </SubBody2>
    <SubBody3>
    </SubBody3>
    <SubBody4>
    </SubBody4>
    <Trail>
    </Trail>
    The desired output is
    <Header>
      <Body>
         <NameChanged1>
            <NameChanged2>
    <SubBody3>
    <SubBody4>
    </SubBody4>
    </SubBody3>
    </NameChanged2>
    </NameChanged1>
    <Trail>
    </Trail>
    Just look at the SubBody2 and SubBody1 node, its tag name has been changed in the output XML. Thats y i have decided to use java mapping instead of message mapping.
    I have developed the code for everything, i.e for changing the tag name and for forming the nested xml and it is working fine as a standalone application. But while deploying it to XI, the output is not well formed. I dont know the reason for it. Even I have checked the cardinality of the output Data types, that I have created. Its perfectly okay with all.
    Any Ideas???
    Regards,
    Anirban

  • Unnecessary extra space automatically added in a 2-col. index

    I am composing an index of topics for a volume of articles. The problem is that InDesign automatically adds an extra space here and there after an individual entry. The best way to describe the situation is to show a screenshot, I think:
    http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=2866334.jpg
    In the right-hand column, you can see the redundant space between the lines with the text "62-64" and "Urpräsentierbar/Nichturpräsen-".
    Knowledgeable help would be deeply appreciated!

    Your screencap doesn't show everything I would want to see (returns and
    spaces, which you can see with Type > Show Hidden Characters), but the
    autolead does give a clue. The fact that your lead is (12) and not 12
    means that Indesign will open up the leading to the appropriate amount
    for the size of the text. 10 pt text gets 12 pt lead, but 20 pt text
    will give you 24 pt lead, which would look like a whole lot of extra space.
    Things to check:
    -An extra return. Obvious, but I can't rule it out from your screencap.
    -Varying text sizes. A 20 pt return, for example. Highlight all the text
    in those two lines (all of it, even the return) and see if the size (or
    lead) field is blank. Blank means the values are different.
    -Extra space above or below the paragraph. Yes, these short little lines
    are paragraphs, and you can assign space above or below to each one.
    You'll have to switch the Control panel to Paragraph Formatting Controls.
    -Align to baseline grid.

  • IE6 shows extra space inside div

    I built some callout boxes using using divs instead of
    tables.
    My Problem: IE7, Firefox and Safari display the callouts
    correctly, but for some reason, IE6 adds extra space below the
    content within the callout box divs.
    I've tried adding a "div collapser" to reduce the height of
    the closing div to zero... (eg. .clear {font-size: 0px; height:
    0px} ) ...but that didn't work.
    You can see the page and css at:
    http://staging.digitaloilfield.com/cssspaceproblem1.htm
    How do I get IE6 to display my callouts correctly?
    Leif

    Here's what I've tried so far:
    - I've removed all the margins on the paragraphs -- that
    didn't work
    - I've tried the trick of closing the div on the same line of
    code -- that didn't work
    - I've tried removing the div containing the &nbsp --
    that didn't work (it causes spacing problems between the two
    callout boxes)
    Has anyone come across this problem before, or know what I'm
    talking about? Or is this one of those: "That's IE6 for ya"
    problems?
