Footer text in PO

Hi
We are priniting name of the PO relesed person in the each page of the footer in PO.
But in print/preview first time we are able to see the name only in last page.for the second and subsiquent times we are able to see in print/ preview.
We want to see/print in the first time itself.
Can anybody through some light on this.

We are able to print in all pages but not first time ....thts the problem.
If we access the transaction 2nd and consequtive time we could able to print it...
But the first time it appers only in last page..

In the footer text , in the output options tab ..there is a check box "Page protection".. Check that..
Documentation for "Page protection"
In some cases you may want to avoid that text is divided by a page
break. Therefore, you can protect text sections with a page protection.

Can I set up a master page to show custom alternating footer text dependant on page number?

Hi,
Is it possible to set up a master page to show different messages in the footer of a brochure dependant on page number? For example;
Page 1: Buy from us because...
Page 2: Our website address is...
Page 3: Here's a special offer...
Page 4: Our website address is...
Page 5: Buy from us because...
Page 6: Our website address is...
...and so on, repeating until the end of the brochure. The intention is for the footers to update automatically if the pagination of the brochure in question needs moving around - or if the messages need changing.

Thanks, but the text needs to be on a single master page which every page is assigned to. This is so the text alternates correctly regardless of whether new pages are inserted or moved. If I assigned separate master pages to individual pages and then moved the pages to a different location, the alternating footer text would then fall out of sync. I hope that made sense!

It's a bug striking in long documents.
Select a word somewhere higher in the page then use the arrows to reach the wanted insertion point.

How to make a condition check on footer text in adobe forms ?

Hi all,
I have a requirement where I need to change the existing footer text in the adobe form ( text is hardcoded in the layout ) .
I need to put a condition where new text can be placed or the existing text . Is this possible in the layout only ?? Because the text is hardcoded . I dont want to do programming in the interface for such a small req . Its a urgent req . So please advise .

Step1: Populate the ALV event table with 'END_OF_LIST' event
Step2: Populate the footer text in to an internal table which is of type
slis_t_listheader.
Step3: Create a subroutine with name 'END_OF_LIST' and with in this form we have to call the function module u2018REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITEu2019.
Step4: Now call the function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAYu2019 to display the ALV report. Whenever u2018END_OF_LIST' event is get fired it executes the subroutine END_OF_LIST and displays the text into the footer of the ALV GRID.

I'm using the standard report form for withholding tax, our requirement is to display the names of the signatories in the form IDWTCERT_PH_2307. I'm exploring the "Sender Variant" in the selection parameters under "Forms" tab. Would this solve our issue? Is the form customizable using the sender variant?
If this is so, kindly guide me on how to maintain or configure the text? So far, I have found the menu path in FI => FI Global Settings => Withholding Tax => Extended Withholding Tax => Generic Withholding Tax Reporting => Printouts => Define Header and Footer Texts in Forms, but I'm lost on how to customize this, particularly on the Text part.

Just Do the below settings as mentioned below:
Go To T-Code: SE71 and provide Form - J_1IEWT_CERT and copy this form to New Z Form and in that Z Form, Select Page Window Option from SE71 and Edit the Main Window and provide the New Signature and Save these Changes and Assign this Z-Form to the Company Code, Business Place and Withholding Tax Keys in T-Code: J1INCRT and Try the complete scenario.

Function in Javascript cannot be executed from Footer Text

Hi all
I created a shared component with name "xx.js" and in my page footer I called the function. When page is run, the function is not being called.
*xx.js*
function say_hello()
document.write("Hello World");
*Footer text*
<script type="text/javascript" src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#xx.js">

</script> It works fine javascript is directly in the page footer (or) function is removed in xx.js and footer text is <script type="text/javascript" src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#xx.js"></script>
xx.js is loaded to the page when seen using firebug.
Please help me to create a single javascript file for my customizations rather than multiple js files.

Iam just making an print forms using adobe forms,Iam havinga text and some variable in the end of the page.these things need to be printed only on the last page.
if my output of the main window comes for 2 pages then it should print only in the second page not in the first page.
if the data of my main item data comes to one page then this should be printed on the first page itself.

If you have a need wherein the samrtform has to have data differ for each copy of a printout
eg. Different form title per every print copy.
then the following code should work.
case sfsy-copycount0.
When 000.
form_title = 'Order confirmation'.
when 001.
form_title = 'Warehouse ticket'
when 0002.
form_title = 'Customer ticket'.
endcase.
Remember, display the element 'form_title' in a window of type 'copies window'.

Footer text shift

I am having a problem with footer content shifting. In four out of five browsers, my footer text appears outside of the footer at the bottom of the main content but above the footer area. The background image does not move and is in the right location. How can I keep the text inside the footer area?
The only browser that displays correctly is Firefox. IE, Opera, Chrome and Safari all have no text in the footer.

Hi Sachin. Thanks for your response. Sticky Footer was checked on both the A-master page and site properties. After reading your email, I unchecked it, saved and then rechecked it and saved. There are less issues now in IE now, but other browsers still display the footer in the wrong place on pages that have minimal content (including the home page).
I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I originally set the minimum page height to 500. I have now changed it to 200, but clearly that hasn't solved the problem.

There is no Page 0 in my application
2. You can add your custom stuff to your page templates.

After applying full scroll bar to the page including header and footer, Text editor ribbon actions cause page to automatically scroll down (while applying formatting)

After applying full scroll bar to the page including header and footer, I have provided content to
the page more than 100 lines and try to format the text from ribbon actions(format text area). On mouse over of font or fore color, the control jumps to the highlighted content area and not able to select the color. The page scrolls down and not able to click
on any action.
Consider this scenario also.
A content editor web part is added toward the bottom of the page.
Text is added to this (direct in the web part, not via a 'content link')
You highlight some text and go to the Markup Style dropdown...
Everything is fine until you hover over the "Paragraph" markup style, and suddenly the page scrolls to the web part you are editing, and you didn't have a chance
to click and apply the "Paragraph" formatting
I have tried testing this with text typed directly into the Content Editor, text pasted in from somewhere else, and text pasted in from somewhere else using "Paste as
Plaintext" option in the ribbon. In each scenario, I get the same results.
Furthermore, I have also tested this in both IE8 and IE9 and get the same results.
I can get it to occur most regularly with trying to apply the Paragraph "Markup Style" but
I've also seen this happen with Font Size (any font size). It's very frustrating since you aren't able to actually apply the formatting you need because the page jumps before you can click. Has anyone experienced this before. Any feedback would

I try to apply full scroll bar to the page including header and footer, the ribbon is missing after I scroll down to the web part. And I cannot apply the "Paragraph" markup style to the content.
I recommend to use the SharePoint core styles to preserve the native functionality and GUI.
By design in SharePoint, the ribbon is always at the top. When you select the content, you can apply the "Paragraph" markup style in the ribbon.

Footer & Text Link Issue

On some pages the green footer bar i created is being forced off the page (pushed down), I am not sure why. it doesnt look like his in preview mode or when i "preview page in browser", only ater i export to html and upload. Please see link below for examples

You have some problems with your code and they are showing up in Internet Exploiter and Firefox because they are less tolerant of those errors.
Your code suggests you need to understand that an ID happens once on a page. You can re-use a Class.
IDs are set up in your CSS with a hash:
#header { }
Classes are set up in your CSS with a dot:
.left_content { }
Use the W3C Validator to check your work, fix the problems and you may find that everything looks just fine in Firefox nad Internet Exploder.
