Because readers (often) don't finish downloading a folio. If they start downloading something else, lose network connectivity, etc. the download will stop.

Breach of contract? You are in breach of contract by not paying for services rendered.
Why should you be late paying an invoice and yet expect Verizon to keep your device on? You are breaching the contract.

Why would you need to "zero out" more than once?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have always wondered why a hard drive would need to be written over more than once for better security?
If it is writing ALL zeros what is there left to find? I just don't get it.

Hello! A random write could leave a few bits that might be salvadged while the "zero all data" maps out bad blocks and writes all zeros. Once should be enough. Tom

Why was my free trial disabled after less than a day

Hi,
I set up an Azure trial yesterday afternoon, roughly 4pm GMT. I came into the office this morning, and found an e-mail from about 3:30am GMT, telling me my trial had been disabled due to reaching it's spending limits?
I did set up a VM yesterday, but didn't use it after it was provisioned, and I see I have 31 days left to use my current credit of £125 GBP.
Why would my account be disabled so quickly. How can I evaluate something in such a short period of time. Is there some way to contact Microsoft directly about this?

Support less than number of occurences

Hi,
I'm trying to create a shopping basket analysis on our sales. For the two articles starting with 529 and 521 there are 6 sales with them on the same order number as can be seen on the drillthrough.
But I thought that the support column was meant to show 6 as well, i.e. support = occurances. But I can see that it's not the case.
Can anyone help me shed some light on this please.

Thanks for your reply. I cannot find anything that would suggest that I have a test set with the missing items. Furthermore I can't find anything in any documentation or comments that give a hint to this problem. I.e. nothing that says "drillthrough
will give you the actual support for the itemset".
The definition of Node Support on MSDN is "Number of cases that contains all items in the itemset." I Believe that it should read "Equal to or less than the number of cases that contains all items in the itemset.
As you can understand I'm at loss. I can easily find the correct result just bny using regular sql, but thought of this as a proof of concept for setting up data mining models.
Once again, I'm really greatful for any help in this.

You cannot contact the iTech Developer. This ripoff vendor has no contact info and I expected more protection from Apple then to allow such a shady vendor to sell to their customers. Their collage app is a complete ripoff. It does nothing! It's partly my fault for not reading reviews first! I know better now. Thought Apple would safeguard their customers as they have always done in the past! I am very upset right now!

Thanks. I understand the initial concept that pictures I take are not on my device but on the camera roll. Or in your language, they are on the device. But after talking with able it seems I can roll the pictures around, from all the strange places that pictures might be sent to and returned from, including to the camera roll. So at the moment i figure that it is a place where I can save pictures, return pictures, and save pictures. Not albums, not photo stream, not recently recovered, not recently downloaded, just llike a camera, but I understand that I can return pictures to the camera if I want to save them or show them to anyone if my device is off line. Why would I have to download latest verison adobe flash player twice in one day when I already had?

   I play a game called Castville and I play on Zynga.com on mozilla firefox. About a week ago after
going into and playing castlville dozens of times I got a message saying I needed to download the latest verison of adobe flash even though I just downloaded it with no message or problem just moments before. I had to leave and then went back in that is when I saw the message about the download. The problem was I had to download it twice in one day one right after the other. I downloaded and I still had the same message well I downloaded again but I should have never had to download it all since it was already oin my computer now there are problems with the game and at the bottom of the screen I see
on occaison the abode flash sign flash or perhaps flicker once or twice and this it. Since I downloaded it twice abode had been crashing I get this picture of a plug in unplugged and a line above that says that I have to reloaded the game.   So can someone please tell me why I had to download abode flash player twice in one day when I already had it and 2 why it is now causing the game I have been playing for a couple weeks before I downloaded twice to start sicking and sometimes crashing. Why would the internet completely fail

Yesterday for an unknown reason, My Imac's Internet and Wifi completely failed and I have no idea why it did this? Is there something that I am missing? What could have caused my wifi and my internet to fail? Why did it cause my ipod and Iphone's internet fail aswell? It is fixed know, I phoned an apple representitive and got it fixed. But I am just wondering why the internet and wifi failed on all my apple divices.

In the Sustem/Network/Advanced/DNS preference pane check to see what DNS servers you're using. If it's not one of the two below delete those that are there and add both of the two below. See if that improves performance. Note what servers were there in case you want to go back to them.

Why would the browser preview display look different than what I am seeing in the design view? Pls help!

When working with accordion panels, when I first insert the widget it looks fine, then I begin customizing the content and then the Preview display does not look the same as the Design display. For instance, in the design display the panel aligns with the adjacent image, but in Preview, it appears offset by one or two pixels.

Cells in table don't accept number like this 0,5 (less than 1)

I don't know why but I couldn't put the number lower than 1. such as any decimal number, for instance 0,01, 0,00145 or 0,8. I don't why...

Is it possible for an Apple retail store to re-print a receipt from less than 12 months ago?

Hello, not sure if I am posting in the right place.
On the 28th of Janurary my Dad purchased a Macbook Pro, on my behalf. I of course payed him back! The laptop was bought in the Southampton retail store.
Last week my laptop suffered water damage whilst cycling home from University in therain, nightmare! We have decided to claim on insurance. To do that I will need my reciept. I have jut torn apart my bedroom looking for it, and I can't find it anywhere.
I don't actually remember a reciept but I presume we got one. I can't remember too much of the actual sale, but is there a chance that something was e-mailed to my Dad as proof of purchase? I remember him giving his e-mail, I think. I do not have an e-mail, so I hope he has one!
Failing all of this, is it possible for the Southampton Apple store to reprint my reciept, the only time that I can go into the store will unfortunatley be without my Dad. What wll I need for them to reprint the reciept?

My experience with anything purchased in my local (UK) Apple store is that their preferred method is to email the reciept, as a PDF, to the specified email id. (In this case your father's).
I'm guessing that if an email id is not given a hardcopy receipt would be provided.
The Southampton store will probably still have an electronic copy of the purchase so you should ask them.
