My apologies for using you name in the subject line. I tried repling to some of your earlier replies but I think nobody checked those topics again.
Could you please let me know a step by step process to concatenate the data of 3 infoobjects i.e. a 180 character string and use that to be displayed on the report. I read that you have some relavent code for the same purpose. If possible do send me the sample code at [email protected]

I have a infoprovider which is
having two infoobjects Z1 and Z2 both are auth relavant
i have two queries Q1 and Q2, Q1 has Z1 only and Q2 has Z2 only.

1. do i have to give both the group users authorization for two info objects Z1 and Z2 eventhough they both together
are not in one query but only one at a time in a query.Becuase all the queries are on th same infocube.
2 or else can i create one authorizatio and include both the info objects in it and then assign it two all the users irrespective of the group.

Answers to your questions in bold.

Answer - Yes, I think you would need to give both user groups, authorization to both the infoobjects.
You may need to check in RSSM, that both authorization objects are marked for authorization check for infoprovider. If both have been checked, then I guess you need to give authorization for both infoobjects. In RSSM, in infoprovider , give the infocube name on which the query is created and check the authorization objects checked for this infoprovider. Check the definition of the authorization objects in the same transaction.

Answer - Yes, you could do it this way as well. But this means that all the users in the two user groups will be authorized to see the same authorized dataset.

Create Two transformation (don't use infosource unless you are using read master data thing in the rule)
Now one transformation will load to infoobject 1
and second will load to infoobject 2.
scenario
DS-+INFOPACKAGE>->transformatino1 + DTP1>IOBJ1
DSINFOPACKAGE>>trasnformation2DTP2-->IOBJ2.
If you are using read master data then you will have data flow like this.
DSINFOPACKAGE>->transformation 1Infosource-->transformation1"+DTP-2->Infoobject 1.
DS-INFOPACKAGE-->->transformation 2 >Infosource>transformation 2"DTP2-->infoobject 2.
Else a very silly suggestion create a DSO with these two..IOBJ.:-) and load from DS.

I have an new request, in which i have characters more than 60 character. Ex: Material which has 80 character.
So for this i divided them as two infoobject each holding 40 character. Now i would like to know how to concatenate these two chracters either in BeX or in Web report.

How to transfer hierarchies between two InfoObjects

Hi guys,
I need your opinion to solve a problem.
I have to transfer hierarchies between two InfoObjects.
I have to transfer one hierarchy from 0GL_ACCOUNT to other infoobject already created.
The hierarchy datasource of 0GL_ACCOUNT is already associated, and the only option I see is to use flat files.
Do you know another way to do this?

If i am not wrong, a new infoobject can be created with 0GL_ACCOUNT as the reference characteristic so that the data in the 0GL_ACCOUNT infoobject will be available for the second infoobject also.

hello, I want to use two indicators for the same variable in two different VIs running at the same time
should I use global variables?? I want to avoid because I have lot of variables and it would takes too much memory,I tried with this code but the value of the second indicator is not updated
I tried to use the queue and it works but the problem is as i said previously that i have many variables shoud I use a queue for each one??
what should I do?

Toolbar button/hotkey for "show cover page in two page view" in Acrobat X?

In Acrobat X, how about make a toolbar button/hotkey for "show cover page in two page view"? I find toggling this option to be useful for changing up the order of adjacent pages in magazines/books in which a two page spread has to match for a full large picture. Due to frequent toggling, I would like a button/hotkey for this for easier access.

Hotkeys for existing menu items are not modifiable, but you can add a scripted button which toggles it with the following code:

Is it possible that you are using the same password for the old O2 Study and newer O2 Apple Base Station networks?
If so, Keychain Access is storing the old information about the old network and may be associating it with your AirPort Extreme settings based on the BSSID that William has mentioned.
If that's the case, open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > KeyChain Access and look for a listing with the old network name. Delete this entry. You may need to power down both the computer and the AirPort Extreme and restart them.

PSE 13 is now out and updates are usually only compatible with the latest version - ACR 8.6 didn't even make it for PSE 12.
ACR 8.7 for PSE 13 should probably include support but we don't know when it will be released.

The Early Watch report lists these because of the large number of rows in the MD/Dim tables. Keep in mind though, that Number Range buffering will really only help if you continue to generate a large volume of new SIDs or Dim IDs with ongoing loads, e.g.
If your transactions being loaded to a cube result in several thousand new rows being added a Dim table, then it makes sense to turn on Number Range buffering for that Dim ID. But if the transaction volume is only cause a few hundred DIM IDs to be added, buffering will not really get you anything.

Snmp error for guest access ticket on two WLC

I have one wcs (5.0.56.2) and two wlc 4400 ( 5.0.148.2). When i try to create a ticket for guest access on the two wlc without time restriction, it works well. But when I defined time restriction for the ticket, i have a snmp error on the passive wlc (snmp operation to device failed, attempt to set conflicting attribute value) and not on the active xlc.

Try connecting the iPad to the computer that you do not want to WiFi sync with and uncheck the WiFi sync option in iTunes. Then click on Apply. Reboot the iPad and see if that does the trick.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Try force quiting the app. From the users guide:

I have been trying for 24 hours to network two W 7 and a Vista Pre. The one W7 and the Vista can open anything the last W7 will NOT OPEN ANYTHING.
I get error code: 0x080070035 over and over and over.

Not sure if this will help or not. I was trying to network W7 and XP a few weeks ago. I had been trying to name the network with my own name on both computers. Nothing worked until I changed the network name to the default xp network name for both computers. Then it all worked fine.
