The statement "Windows XP Service Pack 2" has become literally a cut and paste statement at this point. It may not actually be required to function properly.
Again there has got to be a gamer on this forum who has loaded the card into a system with just Service Pack .

How does ANYONE record their guitar through ios Garageband considering all the latency??? I'm trying to just demo stuff using the Apogee Jam with the latest garageband using smart drums and it WILL NOT line up. There is latency. How is ANYONE using this?? I'm INCREDIBLY frustrated with this.

Are you monitoring through the internal speaker, the headphone jack, or something plugged into the dock connector?
I found that the latency on the head phone jack is really high compared to the internal speaker (which is good latency wise, bad frequency response wise). I don't have a dock based output to check.

Set up as new, since it newer has been connected to iTunes. Your iPhone will remain on iTunes. I have 4 different devices on my iTunes with no problems.
And regarding the sync - it will sync whatever you tell it to sync on iTunes.

Delete the account on your phone. This will not delete any data on her phone or iPad, or data stored in iCloud.

ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Most have restrictions in that you must be a current customer and have maintained service for a minimum period of time. Do yourself a favor, sell it and purchase a phone in India instead.

If I remember right there "may" be a problem if you have a proxie settings enabled.
System Preferences/ Network/ Advanced/ Proxies. Can't remember which one or if it was an issue in 10.7 or 10.6. Just make sure their all unchecked and try again.
You might try a search in these forums for more information. Different fix's for different issue's.

Either your battery is failing or your battery gauge needs to be recalibrated. Start by recalibrating:
When it shuts off charge for just a minute or two, then restart (hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears). Deliberately run the battery down until the phone shuts off at 1%. If it shuts off above 1% repeat the above until you get to 1%. Then charge for 4 hours with the wall charger without using the phone. This process will recalibrate the battery gauge.
To prevent this from happening again about once a month run the battery all the way down to 1%, then continue until the phone shuts off. Apple recommends this in their battery help article, but they don't say why you should do it. The have some hokum about "keeping the electrons moving." Honestly! The iPad battery tip gives the correct reason.
If this does not resolve the problem you most likely need a new battery. If you are near an Apple store take the phone in and they can test the battery for you.

I thought hey new phone, this part will be fixed. However, I got my service to work but it’s still the same problem with the cellular data. I have just left it alone and not worried about it, but it’s still not fixed and thought I could ask on here if anyone had any ideas. It has something to do with the apps actually installed on the iphone. Apps like the mail, safari, settings, itunes apps, etc. All my other apps turn on and off just fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

Make a new Apple ID for her.
Use it on her iPhone 4S for iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
Use your ID on her iPhone 4S for iTunes and App Stores.
Sign in with your Apple ID on iTunes Store (on iTunes app of her new computer)
Authorize her new computer with your Apple ID in iTunes (iTunes menu>Store>Authorize this Computer)
Check "Share my Library on my Local Network" in iTunes Preferences in your and her computer
Sign in Home Sharing of her iTunes with your Apple ID.
Copy all the Music she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Copy all the apps she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Export all playlist as xml files from the old computer to the new one.(right click on the playlist to export and "File>Library>Import Playlist to Import)
Sync her iPhone 4S with all content she wants from her new computer (all data from the old computer will be deleted)
Are you sharing Contacts or other data from iCloud?
Be careful or ask for help about moving from iCloud account to another one.

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode or yu do not have the syncing computer, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode see:
