For Elements 7; how to insert a picture within a picture?

I need to do add a small photo insert into an existing photo. Is this possible with this software?

Certainly can!
1. Open the insert picture and select it: Select > All
2. Copy to the clipboard: Edit > Copy
3. Open the destination picture and paste from the clipboard: Edit > Paste. This places the insert centered on a new layer with transparent background.
4. To resize the insert, activate the Move tool and hold down Shift while dragging any corner handle. Position the insert with the mouse and/or arrow keys.
Kind of boring isn't it. Now you can add all kinds of effects. Here I added a border (using the Stroke command) and added a drop shadow.

I want to make a Press Releases page,that means I have to use the the Rich Text Editor.In this item,I dont know how to quote a picture into this field.though i know there is a picture icon in this field,and when i press it,it can pup up a window.That is the Image Properties Window,under this window,there is a URL text field.But I dont know what to fill in this field,I mean,I dont know what the URL link is .can you just give me a picture URL sample ?
is it like "#APP_IMAGES#136_1_1.jpg" or something else ?

Hi,
There is three types of images reference in oracle apex.
1 Standard image -> url reference is -----> #IMAGE_PREFIX#menu/books_64.gif
2 Workspace images -> url reference is ------> #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#java-icon.jpg
3 Application images -> url reference is ------> #APP_IMAGES#JqueryIcon.jpg

If you registered your Elements when you installed it, then the serial number you need should be on Adobe’s servers.
Login to www.adobe.com <http://www.adobe.com> then click Manage Account under your name, and click through to the products lists until you find PSE11 and maybe PSE9 if it’s serial number is also required to license your PSE11 upgrade.

Restart services after adding new images
To show those custom images on dashboards we need to give fmap:images/image_name.jpg

I sometimes get sent an acrobat document that i have to sign and return. I have tried to paste a jpg of my signature in the document, but no luck. I need to print the document, sign it with a pen, scan it and send it back.
Is there an easier way?

Several, but first you typically need to make a PDF of the signature. You can use the digital signature (I think that includes a graphic option). You can also simply add a graphic. To do that you can use the button tool and put a graphic on it. You can also open the PDF with your graphic and use the object touchup tool to copy it to your document and place it. The issue with the last technique is that it has to made the correct size - it is not scalable.
Another option is to try to use the pencil tool with a tablet PC or use PDF Annotator (3rd party) on a tablet.

Can't figure out how to insert an html within my template

I've searched, but perhaps I am not using the correct terminology. I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere.
We have a vendor who is trying to mimic my webpage for our customers who sign on to her service. My problem is that I don't like having versions of our webpage outside our organization because I'll have to get them to update every time I make a change to our page. I know it will be forgotten at some point. What I'd like to do is set up a page on our site and insert their html content page within my template framework. There is a form that needs to link to their site so it needs to live on their server. I tried inserting an html, but it didn't work. I know in the olden days I used to be able to do this in PageMill. Now, I just can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know the secret?

How to insert a page within a document

I need to insert an additional page within a document without reformatting my layout.
How do I do that?
--- So far "Insert" > "sections" > "text page or blank" puts the additional page at the end of the doument.

When you Insert a Section from the Add Section tool or the Insert Menu, the new section will be inserted directly after the current section, the section that the Insertion Cursor is in, or the Section Selected in the Thumbnails pane.
You can't insert a new section in the middle of an existing section, so it goes at the end of a 1-section document, which is what I would guess you have, a 1-section document. What you probably should do is insert a Section Break at the point where yiu want to add a section or page. Or forget about adding a Section and just Insert a Page Break there.

is there anyone know how to insert a picture from a front panel indicator into a excel sheet, I tried Addpicture (ActiveX) method, but it needs the filename of the picture, how can I get this filename of this indicator.

What kind of indicator? Is this a graph indicator, or a numeric indicator? I'm not familiar with the AddPicture method, but if it's looking for a filename then you need to save the image to disk. For a graph indicator you can get the graph image using an Invoke node and then use the picture functions to save the image to disk.
