Neep help getting online....Chinese Ethernet

Ok, I need some help from creative networkers for getting online. Where to begin?
1st: I am an American living in China, and there is a large language gap between myself and the ISP, who, incedentally, won't know what to do with my mac anyway...so rule out getting any help or information from them.
2nd: I can connect from a windows PC that has been provided for me by the university I work for, but the OS is in Chinese and there are myriad problems with the computer. To log in, there is an ICclient program with a log name and password that must be clicked to launch IE or firefox. As this is a mac forum, i don't need to get into why I'd prefer to connect directly from my macbook...
Ok, that's the background info. A few months ago, i was able to find (off of the Chinese PC) IP, Router, Subnet Mask, DNS Servers, etc.... and plug them into the mac to get online. Occasionally, I would be directed to the ISP homepage and have to log in there in there to continue browsing, but most of the time it connected fine as is.
Then, something at the ISP changed and I can no longer connect on the mac.
I still can plug in all of the DNS, IP, SBNTMSK, etc... and the network status bar tells me I have an active internet connection and communicating via IP xx.xxx.xx....but every application times out.
Because of this, the network diagnostics tool thinks there is no problem, and that I am connected, although I cannot functionally do anything but time out applications.
I've tried all kinds of different combinations of things, and have conceded that I'm stuck.
So as it is, I have a log in name, password, IP, DNS, Router, Sub-mask, the wire is hot, a green light in the status bar, but no internet. I can't get any support from the ISP because of the language barrier.
If anybody can help, you'd get a thousand thanks

ps. this is weird--if I connect with the PC and then switch he plug quickly, I can browse on the mac for about 5 minutes before it goes dead again.

I don't think I can really help you but after I read your post two things come to my mind.
First, maybe your provider uses a MAC filtering on their switches which would explain why you can use the Chinese Windows box. MAC means "Media Access Control", it's called Ethernet-ID on your MacBook. There are software which can spoof a MAC address but right now I don't know any for MacOS X. Maybe some other helpful person will come up with one ...
Second, you said you work for a university there. Are there no one who can jump in between the language barrier with your provider? Maybe one can be a translater for you ...

Can't get online with 10.4.11?????

I have a 2.16 GHz Intel iMac and updated to 10.4.11 and now I'm unable to get online w/ mail, safari, itunes, etc. I'm wireless with a Belkin N1 router. My good ol' iBook 10.3.9 is working fine, so I know my modem and router are working. I've read other threads on the topic but I'm still having trouble. Any wise MacGuru out there who can walk me through this?

Well, I am able to browse the internet again, and actually i still don't know why exactly i wasn't before. The update seems to have fondled a bit with my network settings, the ip-address that I received from my local network had changed to a 192 number while normally this is a 172 number. After updating the network settings (actually nothing has changed, just some back and forth-changing) it got the right ip again and internet worked. I have actually no clue about the reason why it keeps changing ip's. Strange update this 10.4.11. Now I manually have changed my ip-address, hope it keeps working.

Fund transfer module for online banking in jsp

i am working on safe and secured internet banking project . currently working on fund transfer module. any particular user can transfer money from his/her account to any account.my first jsp file for this is:- fundtrans.jsp

my prob is i m not able to print updated saving table i found 1 blank page or sometimes i find "sever is not capable for fulfilling the request". i m able to understand that whether my sql query is wrong or i m getting value from combobox via request.getParameter. please help me as soon as possible.

BAPI /FM for getting Transfer Order details based on Material Doc No.

Is there any FM or BAPI with which I would be able to get directly Transfer Order details, status etc based on Material Doc No without going into the tables?

Yes, you can use BAPI_WHSE_TO_GET_DETAIL.
You can find bapis using transaction BAPI and following functionnal nodes.

SAP is ERP package which provides complete integration between all the other industry modules like Finance, Materials, sales, Production and Quality.
The present system of your Production and Quality has to be mapped in the SAP. But the data has to be flown from the present systems to sap. We built some controls for Raw material inspection for quality, it will allow only raw materials which will meets your specifications. And at any point of time you will have better control on the production also. We can can easily which raw materils are used for production etc.

Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice.

how can I get the correct price and condition for a customer / material / date ?
I know this is possible using the BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE, but this bapi is using to much ressources on the system.
I'm trying to get the correct price and condition WITHOUT using that BAPI.
Does anyone know how it is possible ? As said before : I have the customer, material and a date.

You need it because it's possible to have a complex pricing procedure, and you can't do it with a simple select on a table. Think that you can have pricing requirements, formulas (ie: VOFM) and so on in your pricing procedure (tcode V/08).

Get the Stock for a given Material no

Hi,
I'm an ABAP consultant, new to MM.
I have a requirement - For a given Production Order I have to find the Material and respective BOM Explosion. Once that is done I have to get the Stock for those Materials [Child Materials].
I have used AUFK and AFPO to get the material from the Production Order and Used MAST table to get the other details and passed it to FM - 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2' - This gives me the Child materials.
Now I want to know how can I find the Stock for a given Material. I want to get the Overall Unrestricted stock. Which Table do I have to use. Is there any standard Function Module [FM] or BAPI to get it.
Please help.

I have gone through the MARD table. I want to confirm - for a Material no there are more than 1 plant and for each plant there are more than storage location. So I have to add the Unrestricted Stock of all those to get the Full Unrestricted Stock.

Not photos, just data synced with iCloud shown in Settings>iCloud. If you don't have sufficient storage to back up to iCloud, back up to your computer instead using iTunes (connect you phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to ths Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now). Also transfer your purchases to your iTunes library (connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). If you have photo stream photos older than 30 days tha you wan to save, save these to your camera roll before backing up (tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll).
When setting up your new phone, when given the option choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore the backup you made earlier.

- Table KLAH --> This contains the "Internal class no" [ for the given Class & Class type ]
- Table KSML --> This contains the " internal character numbers " [ nothing but characteristics attached to the class ] , which can be fetched with the above fetched internal class no
- Table AUSP --> This table contains the objects ( material ) attached to the internal characters of that class
- Table CABNT --> This table contains the "Description" for the internal character numbers.
