You can use some extensions to achieve this.

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.

  • Icon Size

I just got a new MacBook Pro. At seemingly random intervals, the size of the icons jumps way up or down. It's while I'm scrolling, so I must be hitting something. It's driving me crazy. Is there a way to "lock in" a certain setting for icon size?

You just need to get use to the track pad. It is very sensitive, when you are on a window that has icons (for example Finder) if you have to fingers on the trackpad using a pinching motion it will decrease the size of icons, all you need to do is the opposite motion to get them back. Once you become used to the trackpad you shouldn't have any problems. Once you get used to it you will love it!

  • Icon sizes for Windows 7

My application is running in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I'm using LabWindows/CVI 10.0.1. I created an icon file in the included icon editor. I kept the default 32x32 and 16x16 sizes and added 48x48 and 256x256 versions, all with 32-bit color. I set the Target Settings to use this new icon.
When I look at the folder containing my application's executable in Windows Explorer and go through the various methods of viewing the folder, not all of the sizes show my icon. The 16x16 image is used for the List and Details views, and as I increase the icon size the 32x32 and 48x48 versions seem to kick in. Then when the icon size gets to medium, I see the default LabWindows/CVI icon (the one that looks like a window with the "cvi" symbol in it). As I make the icons even larger, eventually the 256x256 version of my custom icon takes over.
MSDN seems to say that those three sizes are all the sizes required for Windows 7. How can I override the default "cvi" application icon for all sizes? Is it necessary to use a different icon editor to create some different size of icon image?
    Thanks,
    Brian

What is probably happening is that your icon cache is corrupt. Searching online, I found many different ways to resolve this issue and none of them "official" from Microsoft, so I am hesitant to recommend any one way to rebuild your icon cache. However, all I did to resolve this was delete C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\IconCache.db and restart my system. The IconCache.db was rebuilt and the correct icon shows for larger sizes rather than the default. It seems that the first icon you view at the medium/large size gets stuck in the IconCache. For instance, I changed my icon before viewing it at a larger size (never saw the CVI icon) and the icon I used was the one stuck for the medium/large size.I don't think it will be an issue on a target system because you will not be changing the icon one you distribute the application.
It is not clear to me if this is an issue with a Windows bug (I did see similar reports on various forums, but nothing official), with our icon editor, or with the way CVI attaches icons to executables. I have filed bug report 354481 to investigate this issue.

  • Extend supported icon sizes for AIR Desktop Apps

Currently AIR Desktop Apps seem to only support a limited set of icon sizes (16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 128x128px).
It would be great to see bigger icon sizes (like 256x256 and 512x512px) being supported as well. For example, Windows7 does not display 128x128px icon size so the maximum icon size for AIR apps on Windows is currently 48x48px (which actually is pretty small and results in pixelated icons).
Can you please consider the option of extending supported icon sizes?

Feature request for this issue: Bug#3844899 - Adobe AIR does not support 256x256 desktop icons on Windows Vista, 7 or 8.x

  • Updated icon sizes for Android?

    Hi,
What are the current icon size requirements for Andriod Apps? I'm aware of the following link link, Adobe AIR * Application icons, however when compared to the current Icon style guide provided by Google, the data seems a bit out of date. The Google links is: Iconography | Android Developers

  • What is the default icon size for macbook pro 13 inch?

I have the 13 inch macbook pro, its not the retina. What is the default icon size for it? I accidently changed it on the show view options.

The default size is not related to the Mac Model, it's related to the OS X version. For Snow Leopard it's 48x48 pixels.
For Lion and Mountain Lion it's 64x64.
You can choose the size that is right for you. I typically use either 32x32 or 36x36. Some prefer larger some prefer smaller. It's up to you.
I've always found the default sizes to be too big for my taste.

  • How do I turn off and on the icon size slider bar at the lower right status bar of a folder window.

I have been trying for days to help a friend with a new iMac to turn on the icon size slider bar that on my iMac appears at the bottom of ever folder when it is open when in the "view" > "icon" mode.  I cannot find anything that discusses this slider bar.  I can turn this status bar off and on on both my machine and my friends machine, but I cannot turn off or on the slider on either machine.

This did not help.  I am a Mac User since 1984 and generally I am never stymied buy the Mac OS, but this one has me.   I can open and close the lower status bar, as you described, and that works fine for me because I have the icon slider bar already there and it works fine; however when I open the lower status bar on my friends machine there is no icon size slider bar, and I can't seem to find out how to get it there, as it is on my machine or at all. The icon size can be controlled from the View menu, but as a photographer, it is really handy to have it at the bottom of the folder window.  Thanks for trying.

  • Photoshop CC 2014 UI Menu Text And Icon Size?

so i really like that adobe has added the "experimental" option to increase the ui menu text and icon size in photoshop cc 2014, it was almost unreadable on my 2560 x 1440 27" monitor with photoshop cs4 and illustrator cs4, but the lone 200% setting is too big... seems that 125%, 150%, or maybe even 175% would be much better solutions. in fact, for reasons i can't quite understand, the ui text and icon size in illustrator cc 2014 is spot on, absolutely perfect on my monitor, even tho there is no option for increased ui size as far as i can tell, it was spot on the moment i installed and launched it.
in short, the photoshop cs4 and illustrator cs4 user interfaces were identical in size as far as i could tell, and far too small on my 2560 x 1440 27" monitor. in terms of cc 2014, the illustrator ui is perfect out of the box on my monitor, considerably larger than illustrator cs4, while the photoshop cc 2014 ui is identical to cs4, tiny, but can be enlarged 200% which makes the ui too big. why couldn't/didn't adobe just make the photoshop cc 2014 base ui the exact same size as the illustrator cc 2014 ui? it would have been perfect (for my monitor size).

thanks... just wish illustrator cc 2014 wasn't so perfect in terms of ui size, i mean it's just great and, consequently, makes it seem as if the ball was dropped with photoshop cc 2014... i mean how can one be spot on while the other be so far off?

  • Is there a way to increase the icon size (and the text below) without using zoom?  I am trying to help out someone who has moderate visual impairment that does not want to use zoom just to see the icons and their labels.

Is there a way to increase the icon size (and the text below) without using zoom in iOS 7?  I am trying to help out someone who has moderate visual impairment that does not want to use zoom just to see the icons and their labels.

    Hello Apple.
It seems you have gone to great lengths to improve accessibility in many areas of the iPad. Why was this obvious problem with icon text size missed?  (It's not with the Mac.). And for so long too.
Do you employ people with actual accessibility problems to help you do UI design?
I think too, that some buttons are too close for people who might have motor control problems.
I love my iPad but I fear as I age, the iPad might not keep up with me.

  • Calendar in Yosemite does not comply to Sidebar icon size setting?

The icon size and the font size in the sidebar of System apps can be set in
System Prefs => General => Sidebar icon size
The Finder of OS X 10.10 does react to this setting, Mail.app does and in Mavericks also Calendar.app did.
On my MBP running Yosemite, Calendar v8.0 always shows quite large icons and a large font in the sidebar.
Is this a problem of my installation, or is it "normal"?
There are other problems of the Calendar sidebar, for example I am unable to enlarge the sidebar to show longer names of individual calendars.

If you want the calendar entries that you create on the phone to sync with the gmail, you need to create the entry in the gmail calendar on the phone.  If you create it in the phone calendar, it is only on the phone.
Usually at the very top of the new event entry you have a choice of which calendar to create this event in.  Either Phone, gmail or any other option you have synced to your phone.  To get it to sync to the gmail calendar you need to select the gmail calender.

  • Icon size in JNLP file.

Hi! I change the attributes 'width' and 'height' in the tag 'icon href', but the size of icon not change, why? Anybody can hel me?? Thanks.

The width and height attributes for icons in the jnlp
file are hints to the implementation (java web start)
to aid it in only downloading the icons it needs.
They are not directives to the implementation to tell
it how large to display it. The current version of
Java Web Start dosn't use these hints at all. What version of WebStart were you referring to? I am running 1.0.1_02 (build b03) and I am wondering if these hints will be used.

  • Icon size in Application folder

WHen viewing the application folder from the Dock, the icons have now been enlarged and I have to scroll through the application folder to find apps, how can I reduce the icon size within the Application folder? when viewed from the Dock?
    Thanks
    John

Actually, you don't even have go to the View menu for the slider. It should be at the lower right of your Finder window in Icon View. AFA the alias in your Dock, poof it and create a new one by dragging your
apps folder to the Dock. Don't do it from the Sidebar, do it from Computer/Macintosh HD/Applications.
    Let us know.

  • Icon size in Finder window

This has gotta be an FAQ, but I can't find it. How does one change the size of icons that appear both in the Sidebar of Finder windows, and in the main part of Finder windows? I found how to change icon size for Desktop icons, but I want to change the size of icons within Finder windows.
    Thanks!
    G5   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Hi,
    thanks for the star too!
    I'm afraid I don't understand what didn't work... Mmmm...
What I tested on my own computer (I also run 10.4.8) was that
1/ I opened my home folder
2/ my files are in "Icon view"
3/ I went to the pull down menu at the top of the computer and chose View
4/ I selected Show View Options (or Apple + J)
5/ A window opened that allowed me to change the size of the icons in that window and also gave the possibility to change the size in all windows.
I'm sorry if I was not clear before.
Francine gave you the best option anyway. Thanks again!

  • Icon size in Lion?

In Snow Leopard and prior incarnations I recall that I could easily change icon size in any window by either using the scroll wheel on the mouse OR by a small slider that was in the bottom right corner of the foremost window. Now in Lion there is no "bar" at the bottom of a window and no "slider" there to adjust icon size.
I know you can do it through the right click Show View Options menu, but I'm looking for something more immediate, for those times when I'm looking at a overfull folder and I want to increase or, more likely, decrease, the size of the icons to get more on screen.
Has this capability been removed in Lion?
    Pier
PS Please forgive me if I've mis-remembered the specific mechanism for changing the size. I remember be able to do it and that doing it was trivial, but I may be off on the precise mechanism.

In Finder, go to the View menu and select Show Status Bar. This brings things back to the way you remember them.

  • Small Icon sizes in Open Dialog Box

When I upgraded from Snow Leapard to Lion I was very impressed that the icon sizes in the File->Open dialog boxes varied in size (per folder) on how you viewed them in Finder. For example, I would set my Finder Pictures folders and contents to a larger icon size to see them easier, then when I would open Photoshop and use the File->Open menu option, the icons would be the same size as how I viewed them in Finder.  It was beneficial to have a larger icon to view pictures when I would use File-> Open in Photoshop to select a photo. Since I have upgraded to Mountain Lion, it seems this feature has gone away?? It went back to the way it was with Snow Leapard. All icons are really small no matter how you view them in Finder.
Is there a way to change the icon sizes in the Open/Save dialog boxes to be larger in Mountain Lion? Possibly using the command prompt? Please help?!

I've used the Quicklook to get a larger image, but it's still not as convenient as it used to be with Lion. I'm confused on why the change was made to go back to small icons as a default?  When using Lion, you could have the icon size whatever you wanted.
