For iPhone5 with mophie case users!!!

Three days ago I purchased iPhone 5 with mophie case. I tried to transfer data from my old 4S to new device via iTune.
However, I was not successful at it because my computer could not recognize my i5.
After trying to find out the problem myself for couple days, I called the Apple Support but still not succesful.
I was told my Support rep to go to Apple Store and exchange to new device since it seems like the device is defective.
Well, it turns out that I had mophie case on while I connect the i5 to iTune and that is why the computer cannot read the device.
Mophie case is only for charging the battery so when you are doing something with iTune, you should take the case off and connect to computer.
I was told that many i5 with mophie case make the same mistake like I did.
If you are having same problem, now you know why...

The iPhone 5 juice pack cases don't have the ability to sync via Micro-USB. You can either do this wirelessly by connecting your phone to the same network as the device you'd like to sync with, or you can remove the bottom portion of the case and connect directly to the Lightening connection.

I am a caretaker and thought it would be great however I had to take Mophie off as when I have gone to recharge twice the screen zooms out of proportion AND worse phone will not work so off it came and phone is fine. Switch off zoom by double tapping with three fingers. Permanently disable it in Settings > General > Accessibility.

Adf security with upper case user results in 500-internal server error

I'v set up ADF security as explained in the documentation.
The only difference being that the role test-all has been removed.
I have one user 'paul' with a password of 'password'
I have one application role 'myrole'
'paul' is a member of 'myrole'
I have one unbounded task flow with one view (view1).
Via the janz-data.xml 'View1' has been granted to 'myrole' (view action)
When running View1 I get the login.html page which is correct.
The fun starts when playing around with the user/password.
If I login with 'paul' and 'password' view1 is display, this is correct
If I login with an unknown user or an incorrect password Windows Explorer 7 shows a generic HTTP 403 error page and not the error.html
If I login with 'PAUL' and 'password' (or Paul, or any mixed cased version of Paul with the correct password) I get the following stack trace :

Where can I download Acrobat Extended version 9 for use with a single user license?

I am helping a client who has previously purchases a single user license of Acrobat Extended version 9. It shows up under 'My Products' for his Adobe ID account and provides the serial. However, no version of Acrobat I have been able to find on the Adobe.com website or from people asking the same question on these forums will accept his Serial #.
Has adobe made these single user serial #'s invalid due to their change in licensing format, or I am just now finding the correct version to go with this serial? Please assist, I would hate to have to tell this client they have to re-pay for a product they already have purchased simply because you have changed your licensing format.

First, it's not possible. You cannot attach a primary site to an existing CAS.
Primary sites in 2012 are *not* the same as primary sites in 2007 and a CAS is 2012 is completely different from a central primary site in 2007.
CASes cannot manage clients. Also, primary sites are *not* used for delegation in 2012. As Torsten points out, multiple primary sites are used for scale-out (in terms of client count) only. Placing primary sites for different organizational units provides
no functional differences but does add complexity, latency, and additional failure points.
Thus, as the others have pointed out, your premise for doing this is completely incorrect. What are your actual business goals?
As for the IP Addressing, that depends upon your networking infrastructure. There is no way to configure ConfigMgr to use different interfaces for different types of traffic. You could potentially manipulate the routing tables in Windows but that's asking
for trouble IMO.

Hardware Requirements for a SCCM 2012 CAS with SQL Server Remote

The hardware requirements for a CAS server with SQL Server Enterprise locally installed are:
16 cores (Intel Xeon L5520 or comparable CPU)
64 GB of RAM
1.5 TB of disk space for the operating system, Configuration Manager, SQL Server, and all database files.
Does anyone know what the hardware requirements are if SQL Server Enterprise is remote from the CAS server? It's not listed. -Shane

Even though I am going to be strung up for even saying this, I do agree there is a use for a CAS outside of 100,000 users. If you do indeed have distinct admins managing their own images and apps in remote
locations then I see the benefit of a CAS. A remote ConfigMgr console connecting to a primary site would perform poorly. Admin A at the primary site would not experience any issues but Admin B would be in for a lot of work and waiting. Any
time Admin B needed to add an app or image it would have to be copied up to the remote primary site and then distributed back down. This is not the best scenario.
There are scenarios in company merger situations (and others I am sure) where the management of both locations has not been consolidated down to one location yet and is not going to be done as part of the deployment or upgrade. If you had a 2007 environment
it is going to be very hard to convince the admin at the remote location that this upgrade is going to be a good thing for him/her. There is an option for the remote admin to RDP into a server in the primary site but the image and apps still need
to be distributed down to the remote location. During testing this can be very time consuming.
I do agree that adding a CAS adds additional complexity but in some cases such as the one I described it is the right decision.

We had that design with 2007 (implemented before my time), and as you predicted EU admins complained about difficulty using the console RDP-ed into a box close to the primary site. The bandwidth to and from different regions is out of scope for me so I do what
I can with what I have. We too will be moving forward with a CAS hierarchy.
Administratively the other IT depts in other regions operate on their own. I dont handle any of the EU computers on a day to day basis whatsoever, etc. We're not merging but our IT shops operate with near independence.

Problem - SFDC does not create cases from emails that have more than 10 MB of attachments. Our clients will not go-live if their clients cannot send in emails with attachments over 10 MBs
Potential resolution - Configure MS exchange to strip off the attachments(if over 10 MB) and store it in a public folder, forward the email to Salesforce (so the case gets created or the email
is associated to an existing case), the client should have some way to know if the attachments were stripped off and should be able to dlownload the attachments and continue with case resolution.

From your description, you want to achieve the following goal:
Configure Exchange to filter the attachments if the size is over 10 MB and store it in a public folder, and then forward the email to Salesforce.
Based on my knowledge, I'm afraid that it can't be achieved. Exchange can filter messages with attachments, but it couldn't store these attachments on public folder automatically. Also, I don't see any transport rule can do it.

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

I have purchased a from within an app. I submit my password for the app, and then my Apple ID. I then get the following messages "Regrant failure _ please log in with the same user that has bought this app" and that is followed by "cant conn with IT _

I give both of these. I had the same problem. My wife had the PocketBible on her Ipad 2 and she transferred ownership to me. I had to delete the app and reinstall it from the App store(logged in with my apple ID) and its working without a problem. I do not get those error messages when I attempt to Buy/Upgrade or Add/Remove books.

Yes, but when I bought my standalone license and clicked on the "Download" button it took me to the LightroomCC page. The downloaded file is named Lightroom 6, but in the CC app the installed program is LightroomCC (2015).

I updated itunes, shut the phone off and on, it still didn't give me blue bubbles. Kept following the suggestions on the page ... I didn't know there was an IMessaging switch, but, shoot, it was OFF. Anyway, I toggled it on and now the text bubbles are blue again.

Implementing max user sessions settings for TACACS with ACS 5.3

I'm a little confused about the configuration of max user sessions for device administration with TACACS.
When I've changed the configutration of unlimited sessions for a value in Access Policies > Max User Session Policy > Max Session User Settings
I think this value could limit the maximum number of sessions for each user, but instead this value limit in a global meaning all of my sessions.
For example: I need to limit the session for my users in 2.
user1 = Max 2 sessions
user2 = Max 2 sessions
user3 = Max 2 sessions
Whe i Put the value of 2 in Max Session User Settings
user1 + user2 + user3 = Max 2 sessions
This is a limitation of ACS 5.3 or my configuration needs something aditional.

Are you saying that when you authenticate with user1 and user 2 that user3 isnt able to get access?
Do you have tacacs accounting enabled on the network access device?
Also what do you have configured for the group settings? If there is a maximum group setting and all the users are a member of the same group then the lesser of the two will be enforced. So if the group max sessions is set to 1 then the all users in that group will have a max session of 1.
