As above said in the subject line is there any way to configure output device for m.type 261 goodsissue
I want to configure output device only for m.type 261 not for other m.types so kindly let me know the configuration settings.

J1I5 is to update qty in register of RG23A & C, when you do MIGO, 101 movement automatically update as receipt in Register, no need to do J1I5 for that, but when you do goods issue(261 Movementype) , you have to update the same thru J1I5 to update the issue side of Excise Register Rg23A / C
You have to slect appropriate Clasiification Indicators to update the register accordingly, system will show the material document of 261 Movement, if you select Classification Indicator as IIM / IPD / IWD, system will update the Issue Qty inrespective column based on these Classification .

Movement type for free of charge good issue

Does anybody know what is the movement type for free of charge good issue??
I want to know the equivalent movement type of good receipt 511 (delivery w/o charge) but for good issue.

Thanls for your reply but this is not what we need.
We want to do a manual good issue without charge and we don't know what is the correct movement type we have to use.
I have tried to use 601 in mb1a transaction but an error has appeared: "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 601"
I think we need the equivalent movement of good receipt 511 but for good issue.

How to execute 261 goods issue for REM order items other than with MFBF?

Our users are looking for an easy way to post a 261 goods issue for a single component of a repetitive manufacturing order without using the MFBF transaction where they have to deselect all other components of the order.
The ideal situation would be to use a transaction similar to MB1C or MB11 to simply enter the planned REM order, component material id, and its respective quantitiy and then post.
Any information you can provide will be helpful.

Thank you for your response but LT01 does not seem to provide the functionality that I am looking for.
To clarify, our users would like to complete a 261 movement for a single component within a particular repetitive manufacturing, without going into the MFBF transaction and having to deselect all of the unnecessary components just to single out one.
So ideally we would like to use the MB1C transaction for a 261 movement. Enter in a REM order, the material id, and the quantity to be issued and simply post a single material. Currently when we attempt to do this with MB1C we receive the error M7162 that our order, which is a product cost collector, cannot be processed with this transaction.

Manual Reservation for Movement type 261

Dear Friends,
I want to create a manual reservation (MB21) for production order i.e. movement type 261. But system is not allowing and giving error message order category 10 (prodn order) not allowed for manual reservation.
Can some one help to know how the setting which allows manual reservation for MVt type 261

Hi,
After my long analyzation, I came know that, this is SAP standard setting.We cann't make any changes in order category 10. As per SAP standard procedure , the below order categories do not allow manual reservation.
10 PP production order
20 network
30 maintenance order
40 batch order (process manufacturing)
50 inspection lot
So please make goods issue through MB1A , if you want tracking this issue seperatly please put your production order number in text filed.

Create storage location automatically for movement type 261

Hi Experts,
Currently we're inprocess of implementing "create storage location automatically" for reservation, and I've done with the configuration for both reservation side (Define Default Values) and movement type side (GI/transfer posting - Create Storage Location Automatically).
For movement type 201, new storage location successfully extended/created using T-Code MB21 (Create Reservation). But we found an error message while conducting the same thing for movement type 261 (which only can be created using T-Code IW31 (Create material reservation form Work Order).
Did we missed any required configuration? Pls kindly advice on what we should do.

Here's the current situation,
We configured the plant/storage view (SPRO), most of materials already extended to desired plant and storage location. Commonly, we can extend or create any materials for certain plant and/or storage location by maitain material master data (using T-Code MM01).
Recently, we develop the additional configuration to activate "automatic create storage location" for reservation, aligning with the movement type for Goods Issue (201,221,261,301,etc).
Let's say we have material number 123456789 and currently assigned to plant YYYY, but not extended to storage location XXXX. By performing T-Code MB21 (create reservation) with movement type 201 inputted, the respective material (123456789) is automatically created for the XXXX storage location.
But the above condition is not effected while performing the same thing using T-Code IW31 (create material reservation via Work Order) with movement type 261 (GI for Order).
Any idea to perform create storage location automatically while creating reservation for movement type 261? is there any possible configuration or procedure to be added?

We are posting goods issue against order in COGI and we are getting the following error.
"Fld selectn for mvmt type 261 / acct 50000000 differs for CO/PP order (011)".
We checked in the following settings
Trx - FS00- check the field status group. And in OME9 we compared the attributes in both screens are same.
We have activated Business area.
Request to kindly do let us were have missed out in settings other than the field settings.

i tried it by changing movement type fields but it doesnt show effect if so how can

I didn't try to make it mandatory from system perspective,before, but I do remember, way back in 98, in one project, we developed a solution where the requester has to go to store with reservation (already created even for 201) then only store keeper issues material. For your requirement, just now, quickly looked at a possible solution.
When you go to MIGO, when you select the option A07 - Goods Issue, the next field has associated options:R01, R02, R08, R09 and R10. R09 is for reservation. In the configuration,Materials Management>Inventory Management and Physical Inventory>Settings for Enjoy Transactions>Settings for Goods Movements (MIGO)>Settings for Transactions and Reference Documents
For transaction Event A07 - Goods Issue, Assigned reference documents in standard SAP are :
R01, R08, R09 and R10. Delete the remaining except R09. This setup is for transaction code MIGO. Similarly for other
MIGO_GO
MIGO_GR
MIGO_GS
MIGO_TR
MIGO_GI
ones should be taken care, else, user can go from other tcodes to process GI...users are very smart, these days!!

Find out the error message, there can be conflicts between movement type Filed status and GL field status group.

BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE goods issue for tmovement type 261 not updating costs

I am using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for goods issue, instead of MB1A.
it is updating the data correctly.
The only issue i am having is that, it is not calculating the material costs.
The actual costs for material cost from IW32 is $0.00
I can see all the data updating correctly from MB02.
Please let me know what might be the issue regarding costs.

Automatic triggering of output type in Goods issue

Hello Experts,
I am trying to pick the output type while creation of goods issue document using transaction MB1A. After creation, it is not coming automatically. I did the customization setting for maintaining conditions based on output type WA02, adding trans/Event-WA, print version-3, print item-1 but still it is not populating automatically while creation of GI document.
Could you please let me know, how to do it or if i am missing some customization.

Hi,
To trigger the OUTPUT automatically you have to maintain the CONDITION RECORDS in MN21
Goto the Transaction code MN21 and enter the OUTPUT type as WA02 and give the following details
Trans/Event type
Print version
Print item
partner function
Medium
Date/Time
Language.
After maintaining this check whether the OUTPUT determined automatically or not.
I hope it will determine automatically.

Change of Movement type for Return delivery of Goods Issue doc in config

Hi SAP Gurus,
I am doing return delivery of goods issue document.then the system automatically pick the movement type
Like Example i am doing return delivery for Goods issue 201,the system should pick 202 but instead of 202 its picking 902 movement type which i defined.
Where exactly i have to change in configuration please let me know....

Goods Issue output condition for extra prints

How can i increase the standard number of GI slips for the output document.
The output is a SAP standard form (Y002)
I only need 2 output copies for a particular movement type (351)
How can i link 2 output copies for movement type 351 only

When you define the message conditions in MN21 / MN22(Change), In communication page where we enter the Logical destination there you have number of copies there you give the number and save.
Number of messages (original + copies)
Total number of copies of a message sent.

Goods Issue Output

Hello Experts!
For a new Sales Org, I cannot get the system to print the GI Output. The process works fine automatically for our others Sales Orgs/Plants.
We are not using a standard Output condition Type (I dont think - YBL3?)
I can re-print the document manully in MB90, which makes me think its something as simple as setting the output device in the communication settings.
Billing would be VV31
Shipping is VV21, its not either of these.
Nor can I see my Output type in Menu Output - handling unit/groups/shipment/sales activity etc.
does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Dan,
Normally when working with SD Shipping, one would prefer to do the printing from the deliveries, i.e. set up in trs VV22 and printed using trs VL70 or VL71. The reason is that more info is available there than in MM (trs MB90), e.g. the delivery address.
Therefore, please check if you really want to do the output from MM. The latter is normally used for GI movements posted directly in MM, e.g. issue to cost centre or scrapping.
Anyhow, if you do manage to issue the desired output in trs MB90, then the output record is probably there in the material document, only that it has the timing (field "Date/Time") set to 3. Do you use the "Processing Mode" 1 in MB90? In such case, go back to your settings in trs MN22 and check which "Date/Time" you have set for your output record - use "4" for immediate output.
