For memorized passwords need to wait 20 sec.

On some webpages i need to wait for password like 10-20sec, I can type both name and password before it is suggested.
example is admin.booking.com - page I use frequently. - it works fine on chrome (android) and safari (IOS)
I use latest Firefox version of course, i tried to refresh Firefox and start with diagnostic mode, always the same result.
Please help, this will make my live easier!est

It should only have to do the full search the first time. From then on it should be quick.
Since yours is not, I would suspect that iMovie is not able to write the results of the search, so the next time it has to start from scratch. This could be a permissions issue.
Go to Disk Utility and try to repair permissions on your main hard disk.
You might also try trashing preferences. (Details here - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4061 )

I checked for waiting downloads in the iTunes App (purple icon) on device. Sure enough, there was a stuck download. Deleting that item (swipe to delete) seems to have gotten downloads working again and (hopefully) banished the message.

Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.

I need to reset my Apple ID on my ipad. My internet provider was bought by another company, so my user name changed. So now, when I go into itunes or the app store, I cannot update anything because it asks for my password, but not my apple id.

I want to go into the app store to update apps, so a box pops up asking for my password, but shows my appleid as the old name. I have reset the appleid on my mac and itunes at home and works there, but when I try to go into things on the ipad, it automatically comes up with a window asking for my password, but for my old id name. I went to the manage your id section, but it won't let me in because it wants the password to the old name. So I think I need to reregister the ipad with my new userid. Icloud, Itunes, app store, everything like that won't let me in because they still show the user id as the old name.

On the iPad - go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap on your old ID and sign out. Then sign in with your changed/new ID.

Sorry, but you can't, if you live in Haiti. As you say yourself, there is no iTunes Store for Haiti and you are not allowed to use the iTunes Store of any other country.
If you live in a country where there is an iTunes Store, check to see if Apple sells physical gift cards in your country and if so purchase and redeem one of those. There is no way to purchase an electronic gift certificate from Apple without a credit card from the country whose iTunes Store you wish to use.

I'd think you have a Keychain problem (Keychain storing passwords and the likes).
When you are being asked, are you offered the checkbox, "Remember this password in my Keychain"? If so, check and see if it stops asking.

You need the password for your network/router. Sometime the dfault password is on a sticker on the router. As the person who controls/set up the router.

Adobe does not require a password to download the Flash installer. Generally speaking passwords are not required to download software, unless you must register with the website so as to log in. In that case you should never use the same name and password you use to administer your Mac.

Logout (System Preferences>iCloud) then login with the new address and password.

Call unix script within Servlet - need to wait for completetion

I have a servlet which grabs some information from my web form and then calls a unix script.
This already works fine and does what i need it to do. I now need to add some functionality where i can get the servlet to wait for the unix script to complete before carrying on and then redirecting back to the user.
the code i have for the current servlet is:
         * EXECUTE THE UNIX COMMAND.
        Runtime   oRuntime =     Runtime.getRuntime();
        Process   oProcess   =     null;
        String[]      cmd          =     {"/bin/sh", "-c", sPath}; // UNIX
         * ERROR CODES 3 = File not found

        }I am assuming i need some sort of wait method to handle this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok.. you code is fine.. you can run any shell script or program using the exec() method. if you need to wait till the process finishes then you need to call the method waitFor() in class Process.. the method blocks the parent thread (servlet) till the sub process (your exec'd script or program) terminates.

Pls tell me one more thing.. are you using netBeans or Eclipse for executing the programs or you use standalone tomcat to deploy the application. I have problem in execing programs when i deploy in tomcat 5.5 and the same application works fine in netBeans 5.0. if you know pls help me too..

Please, someone help. I just need my email passwords. Everything has stopped working. Apple is ZERO help. I get constant dialog boxes asking for passwords. I've tried listing every password I've ever used at least 25-50 times, to no avail. Thank you. I can't even post this to an appropriate community or select an appropriate category or correct OS. Apple is totally useless.

Not sure what you are referring to? Apple Mail does not require a password. Please describe exactly what is happening, what email you are using, when the request for the password is showing up, and what the exact message is.
