after you have received the error message about the no authorization, run transaction SU53.
This transaction shows which authorization has failed last time.

I ended up doing just as you said and downloading the program seperately. However, I'd like to point out that after I downloaded the server.app to my MBA it did allow me to compress it. To login I have use the exact same FTP details I have used to upload my website, I even checked the page url multiple times but I keep getting the same error (the username and password are invalid for your FTP server. Please check them and try again). The hosting website (Yourhosting.nl) only has this one FTP user, which I cannot expand to more users. Can you please tell me if I am doing something wrong? I am trying to burn a music cd on iTunes, but I am getting an error that reads that the cd burner is being used by another application. I know that I am not using the cd burner for anything else. I have restarted the Mac and nothing. Any ideas?
One other thread said it was fixed by waiting till prompted by iTunes to insert the blank disk, instead of putting it in first. Does that work? Found a number of hits on this Googling.

Does the iphone beep when u plug it up. ?
Plug iphone into computer and give it 3 to 4 minutes to see if it connects and is running slow.,
Delete the apple mobile device from your computer.
Upgrade itunes to newest version.
Is you USB cord defective ?
Any USB 3.0 on your system ? .
Delete or Disable any antivirus program on your computer ?
I will tell u the problem is your computer not the phone.

I discovered that when I restored my harddrive a few weeks back, not all of my music in iTunes was restored. Now when I go back to an earlier date in my Time Capsule, I get a message that I don't have permissiom to see the files. What do I need to do to access these files?

I have a 32 gb ipad air but need to get the songs I have stored in iTunes on my old iMac onto the ipad air or stored somewhere else. I have over 10000 songs on there which is 30.47 gb. far too much to put on my ipad air. How do I get them off my old iMac which has no internet connection ? And where do I put them. No I don't have another computer. I was thinking initially I would put them on my ipad but since I don't have enough gb maybe I can store them in some cloud thing? Sorry am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to all this. I just need to have them stored someplace and accessible to play when I need to. Thanks for your help.

I have a 2007 Mac Book Pro and a Genius told me that it is "vintage" and that the "logic board" is bad and no longer supported. He removed the hard drive and told me to buy a "sled" to retreive the data. Is it worth trying to fix it so that I don't have to buy a new one? Where should I take it? Thanks.

if the Genius is correct and the logic board is bad, then replacing the logic board would be fairly expensive. What problems are you seeing with your MacBook Pro that caused you to visit the Genius in the first place? Whether it’s worth trying to fix it or not depends on your particular circumstances, such as your willingness to trade time for money in pursuing repair vs. replacement. -
I'm trying to purchase and download a movie, but I keep getting message error that I have no space. The error states that I must delete some photos or videos in order to download. I've gone to iPod then edit and deleted some videos, but I'm still getting the message. What is the correct way to delete the videos and should they still be there.
They wont still be there if you delete them,but if you have those same photos on the main computer.

I can't open itunes on my HP laptop that uses Windows 7. I keep getting the error message "you don't have the proper permissions to open this file". I removed all Apple downloads and reinstalled itunes 10.6.3 windows 64-bit numerous times, but I still get the same error message. Once you have successfully done that you can go ahead and choose Erase and Sync when you plug your iPod in.

I was in the middle of the iOS 8 update and tried to turn my phone off (yes, I realize this was dumb) But what happened was it tried to reset. Now, my iphone 4s has the connect to itunes screen. I have tried to reset, recover, etc but I keep getting and error -51 message. Any ideas how I can get my phone working again? I am not worried about saving any info just having a phone to use!
Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -
