For some reason a bunch of websites just stopped loading so i closed firefox. I lost all my open windows

This is the second time that firefox has done this to me. My settings are saved to open my last window session so when i closed all of the tabs i expected my last session to pop up or at least be listed in my history. Unfortunately it did not and I do not know how to retreive them. Some of the websites i know i was on were not in the history. I've been opening the same session for the past 1+ month but couldn't seem to find all of the sites in my history.

This just started happening a few days ago. When I go to facebook the pictures are distorted and nearly impossible to discern who is in them. I have the same problem. It seems to be due to FireFox 4.0 being unable to load certain embedded content, which Firefox 3 was able to load properly.

I would trash - iMovie pref file - and re-try - sounds like this got faulty.
• Delete iMovie pref. file. iMovie pref. file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD) / Users / "Your account" / Library / Preferences
and is named. (one or more of these)
com.apple.iMovie.plist
com.apple.iMovie3.plist
com.apple.iMovie7.plist
com.apple.iMovie8.plist
com.apple.iMovie9.plist
com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
and find
com.apple.iApps.plist
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this/these file/s out on to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
If You run Mac OS X.7 or more - then the Library in the User-account folder is invisibly and need to be set to be viewable. IT IS NOT in the Library on Root level (when opening MacintoshHD - first window = root level)
( It can be done like this: Open Terminal, then enter:
chflags nohidden ~/Library (exactly like this - space included)
Press return, then restart, and it will always be visible until the next major update, when you do the same thing again. )

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

For some reason none of the website I go to will display properly in Firefox but they will in Explorer and I have no idea what happened.

I don't know what will help at this point. You should never update a system that has problems, unless you're absolutely sure that the problems are caused by a bug that is fixed in the update. With your backups in an uncertain state, you should not update or do anything else except start a new backup.

Illustrator's font is different for some reason and hard to read, I need to change it so i can read all the tabs and file names. Like file, edit, options, type, select, effects..... swatches, layers.. every tab is in a different font that is hard to read

This was not an issue before. Now, all of the sudden, I cannot get my iTunes balance anywhere. My last purchase was actually charged to the credit card on file and it did not default to using my remaining balance. Very frustrating...

If you have an available balance, it will show up next to your Apple ID when looking at it within iTunes on your computer or iOS device. Check out the first two articles to review and make sure that you have an available balance to spend. Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. Eric, thanks that works but seems like an extra added step also to do it that way. I've got to move and organize a ton of files and I'm looking for a easy way to get this done. I could also open the folder into a separate tab and then drag the tab out so it becomes an open window but thats a lot of fussing around also with extra steps. Not sure why these newer operating system seems more confusing and less user friendly than what they used to. In the past I could just click on any folder and it would open in a separate window making it really easy to copy or move files from one place to the other just by simply dragging them from one window to the other. Seems like I'm going through several extra steps now to do a simple task.
