I used to have my old cellphone number on my iPod and now I only have my email for
imessage and now my friends can't text me first And I don't know what and I don't know how to change it:( what do i do?!

As of CC 2014 the mini bridge has been removed. You can install the previous version if you would like to use it.
Or just have the full version of bridge running in the background, and switch between the two programs. Bridge would have been running for mini bridge to work anyways. -

Neither is there any way of installing it and using it, regardless of where you take the iPhone. There is no way.

So I have an iphone and for some reason I don't know the password for my Apple ID so I can't download apps and I don't have the password to my email to change it and I don't know the secret questions , what can I do to make a new Apple ID ?
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -
Cannot access the iCloud mail for some reason I don´t know. Worked perfect until Nov 28th, but a message with "incorrect ID/password" popped up. Contacts and iCal is accessible. Have tried from iPad, Mac, iPhone and PC. Any recommendations?
Reset your password. Be sure your new one meets the requirements for length (8) and characters (at least one upper case and one number).

I would trash - iMovie pref file - and re-try - sounds like this got faulty.
• Delete iMovie pref. file. iMovie pref. file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD) / Users / "Your account" / Library / Preferences
and is named. (one or more of these)
com.apple.iMovie.plist
com.apple.iMovie3.plist
com.apple.iMovie7.plist
com.apple.iMovie8.plist
com.apple.iMovie9.plist
com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
and find
com.apple.iApps.plist
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this/these file/s out on to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
If You run Mac OS X.7 or more - then the Library in the User-account folder is invisibly and need to be set to be viewable. IT IS NOT in the Library on Root level (when opening MacintoshHD - first window = root level)
( It can be done like this: Open Terminal, then enter:
chflags nohidden ~/Library (exactly like this - space included)
Press return, then restart, and it will always be visible until the next major update, when you do the same thing again. )

For some reason Safari and App store won't open anymore. Everytime I try to open them they crash and it says it's because of the webkit2 plug-in. Anyone know how to fix this problem?
If you are getting an 'invalid security code' message then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.

i'm really worried about my macbook pro, it's a 13'' retina 2012 model. After watching a late night movie last night i just closed the lid and went straight to bed as usual. To my surprise when i flipped open the lid this morning it only made the apple sound when turned on but didn't display anything. I tried switching it on and off several times but nothing changed. So i connected it to an external display and it worked fine. The funny thing is i never dropped it or spilled any liquid on it. Now i'm wondering what could be the cause and i'm hopping someone might be abble to explain this....Could it be the lcd screen, the video card or graphic processor or could it be the logic board?? Help.reseting the System Management Controller won't wipe my SSD drive will it?
No, but if you don't already have a backup, you must back up immediately, before you reset the SMC or do anything else. -
my music will not come onto my phone from icloud unless i download songs. On ios6 it would come from cloud straight to my phone
Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iphone. Only if you back up your phone manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

After watching a rented movie from Apple TV, it appears to disappear not giving us the option to re-watch again. Has the policy changed? We used to be able to see the "rented" status for 24 hours, indicating how much rental time we had left.
The 24 hour limit for the US hasn't changed, you should still be able to watch it as many times as you like within those 24 hours (and the 30 day limit from renting it, whichever ends the soonest). You should also be able to see the remaining time - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1415 :
On your device, the time remaining for you to finish watching the movie appears near the movie title. -
For some reason, Firefox isn't showing the font "Script" anymore.
It shows up as the "Mistral" font now. I know it's not my computer because the font works fine in other browsers. Is there a way I can fix this?
Please disregard. I spoke with the help desk at my office, and they said it was because I had too many add-ons installed, which can cause Firefox to malfunction.
