For the mid month new joiner the annual Conveyance exemption is coming incorrectly

Dear All,
For one of our client, we have have faced a uniqe issue.
If any employee join in the mid of the month, his prorated conveyance amount ( wage type 2020) is coming correctly. Suppose an employee joined at 16th of the month, system is calculating his conveyance for that month as INR 400 and which is correct.
However in his tax calculation for that particular month, system is taking INR 400*(rest of the month of the FY) in the wage type /4E3. which is incorrect. Suppose he joined in 16th April , system is calculating tax exemption 400*12=4800
Now if we run next month payroll , system is caculating the exemption properly. i.e. INR 400 + 800* rest of the month of the FY,

system is calculating perfectly.
first of all system check the no. of present days and accordingly it give the amount in the wage type /3C3 conveyance amount monthly and /3C4 will give Conveyance monthly exemption and it will multiply with no. of months to the fiscal year end and store in the wage type /4E3.
for example check for PF:
Every month PF amount store in WT /3F1 and send to /3F5 and this WT multiplied with No. of months and store the Annual amount in wt /3F6.

Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

I have a report in which there is a characterictic claenderyr/month.The Input paramter is claenderyr/month which is restricted by a variable of type interval. i mean user will enter calenderyr/month as interval say 012010 to 06.2010. Now I have to calculate Avg sale Qty for the given months based on the no. of days for the given range of months. How I can achieve this in BW Query. Pl. advice

Let me see if I can help you with the basic WDS configuration steps:
Note: To help facilitate the setup, temporarily connect the AXn directly to the AEBS LAN port using an Ethernet cable. Once the setup is complete, you can move the AXn to the desired location. For all configuration steps you will be using the AirPort Utility. Before starting, be sure to jot down the AppleIDs for both base stations.
802.11g AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) Configuration
AirPort Utility > Select the AEBS > Manual Setup > Wireless tab
Wireless Mode: Participate in a WDS network
Manual Setup > WDS tab
WDS Mode: WDS main
Allow wireless clients (checked)
WDS Remotes: <enter the AppleID for the AXn here>
Click on Update and allow the base station to restart.

What version of Windows are you using? This is not a problem with iTunes. It may have to do with an issue of the compatibility of a newer version of iTunes with an older Windows system/older hardware.
What do you want to synchronize? If you were previously using iCloud you should be able to restore most of your oringinal content onto your new phone via was was last synched with the iCloud on your previous phone/device.

We are patching the nodes with 2q 2009 quarter patches, first we patched the node scrbdomderue005. we have followed the below step to patch the server.
1) Our root d0 has d1(c0t0d0s0) and d2(c1t0d0s0)
2) we have detached the d2 from d0; metaclear d2
3) mount the c1t0d0s0 /mnt
4) use the patchadd -R /mnt to patch the server. While patching we got only one error the patch 126106-27 need to be install in noncluster mode.
5) switch the RG's from node scrbdomderue005 to scrbdomdfrm005.
6) shutdown the scrbdomderue005, boot the scrbdomderue005 with c1t0d0s0 in noncluster-single user mode, and installed the patch 126106-27 and it was successful.
7) shutdown the scrbdomderue005, boot the scrbdomderue005 with c1t0d0s0 in clustermode, and we are getting the following error.

I could be because you have installed patch 138888. It has problems with nxge interfaces used as interconnect.

PF not getting deducted for the mid month joinees.

Hi,
The problem is coming in the PF deduction of the employees who have joined in the mid of the month.
For ex if an employee's basic salary is 7000 and the emp joined in the mid of the month , the system is taking PF from RS 3500 , where PF deduction is not applicable. Now the result is PF is not getting deducted for that month which should not happen.
So kindly guide me how to apply a check in the system so that it deducts the PF of those employees who are joining in the mid of the month and their basic salary is above Rs6500.

Thanks, Bob! You are correct. And, we learned this as we spoke with APPLE TECH SUPPORT by phone on Christmas day (800-APL-CARE). One of their reps spent the time to help us troubleshoot this, but the boiled down conclusion is your answer, and to repeat for the benefit of others, here is what worked:
1. With our Belkin router set to "out-of-the-box" WEP 64 bit security, we could not get wireless access of any kind. Only with the Security Mode set to DISABLED, could we gain access.
2. Changing the router's security mode setting to "WPA/WPA-2...." and entering a new min. 8 char passphrase, and then entering that same passphrase into the IPOD Touch, and restarting the router, did the trick!
Based on this, and some info found in another posting, I can only conclude that the IPODs and IPHONES do not support WEP security mode in many generic routers used by thousands of consumers. Hopefully, those same consumers can figure out how to change their wireless router setttings to WPA/WPA-2 security mode and ALSO get all their other wireless devices (PCs, laptops, WII boxes, ROKU boxes) all reconfigured to WPA mode, too.
I THINK THE BOTTOM LINE HERE IS THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE THAT APPLE NEEDS TO ADDRESS WITH WEP COMPATIBILITY and it may also be the case that MOST CONSUMERS ARE USING WEP 64 BIT security on their home wireless routers?
In any case, it's working now, so anyone who is having problems should try changing to WPA mode and post back here if it worked for them!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button
