Inbox is the only folder that has been available for a number of weeks. Then, 30 minutes ago when I started the computer, there they were, all back: sent, drafts, my local folders, etc. Before we knew it, inbox became the only visual folder again. This has never happened to us before.

You should ask your relative to physically take the iPhone to the store rather than shipping it because as diesel vdub has said:
"No Apple store will accept an iPhone shipped to them"
All you have to do is safely pack and ship your iPhone from the Philppines to your California-based relative.

When you say "2 minutes ago" was that literally 2 minutes ago, or did the page stay idle for some time? The page does not automatically update and continues to show the times of posts when last opened. If you leave the page and return to it, it will then update (reload) with new elapsed times.
Questions and replies come thick and fast. Perhaps the thread has been pushed down the page by newer posts. It could have been pushed to another page. Click on the Next button (top and bottom of page). "Next" is actually older posts (they are stored in descending time order).
Have you followed suggestions by b j t and ~Bee?

After admittedly only a quick read the one thing you don't say is how you are trying to make this move. Most people with moving library issues do it the wrong way. Plenty of web sites tell you how to do it the wrong way.
If the iTunes application is started before the drive with the library is fully mounted and awake iTunes will revert back to the internal drive.

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

I only get 52 minutes of play time from a CD that I downloaded from ITunes

The CD has a 60 minute run time but I only get 52 minutes on the CD-R that I burned from the downloaded CD.

The startup disk may need repairing ...
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If the disk needs repairing, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you can access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk.

I suggest the easy stuff first:
1) quite Numbers and restart Numbers
2) reboot the computer
After that try opening the same document in another user space

MX890 Having to spend $130 for ink but only getting 11-12 actually VIABLE prints, HELP?!?!

As the title topic says, I am somehow having to buy 130 bucks worth of ink but I only get 11 or 12 actually viable print outs!!! Specifically, I am printing custom DVD case art/covers for my video game library. Yet the only way to actually get the print outs (DVD case art) to equal the visual quality and color depth of the images displayed on my PC monitor is for me to set it to Photo print settings/presets with the Vivid colors box ticked which burns through ink LIKE FRICKIN' CRAZY. Hence why I keep having to buy new ink at an absurd frequency. Also I am having to print them on Ultra-Glossy photo paper because any other type such as matte, semi-gloss, or brochure paper comes out looking like the image had the contrast set to max of which muddles all of the damned colors down. I have included an example of how drastically different the end print outs become when I print one on the Photo presets with Vivid checked onto ultra high gloss paper and the other on any other preset. I dont know if this matters or not, but I am having to print the images through IrfanView image viewer due to the fact that any and all other image viewing programs never print out the ACTUAL SIZE of the image on the PC monitor while instead resizing the printed image on its own. The printer I am using is a Canon MX890 by the way. ANY help would be IMMENSELY appreciated!!

Update problem, only getting Ethernet picture doesn't work now

Got appleTV today and just messing around fine until I wanted to update software. It updated but now I only get a picture of the FireWire cord (or whatever the small output below the HDMI output and it going to a picture of iTunes with the end of the USB. I can't do anything - I don't have that cord- I only have the HDMI what can I do? Thanks !

I really don't think you should have used a TIger disc that was for another computer, some folks consider that piracy. You should, as soon as humanly possible, erase what's on the disk now and re-install Panther. Then have your brother go buy a Tiger disc and then you will be good to go.

Paying For 30Mbs, But Only Getting 2Mbs

I Have A Problem (I Think) With My Airport Extreme 802.11n, Right Now I Have Optimum Online Running At 30Mbs Download & 5Mbs Upload. But The Settings On The Airport Router Is Only Let Me Push Out 2Mbs, Then I Tried To Set It On 802.11n Only(2.4GHz) To See If I Could Get At Least 15-25Mbs. And The Router Doesn't Even Come Up???
So I Plugged Up My Mac Directly To The Cable Modem And Try To See What Type Of Speed I Could Get, And I Got Around 25Mbs D/L And 5Mbs U/L What It Should Be. Then I Tried To Put It On The Other Option 802.11n(802.11a Comp.) I think your problem, if you indeed are using the iBook G4 you have listed in your specs, is that you are trying to connect an "N" network to an airport card (in the iBook) that only supports B and G. So, that explains why you won't see the network when you set it to N-only. You have to set it on the B/G mode only. Unless you upgrade to a new snazzy MacBook, or you find some N network USB dongle, you won't be able to connect to any N network with your current iBook configuration. Hope this helps a bit.

Paying for 20mb broadband only getting 6mb

I'd just like to know if i am getting the most out of what i am paying for. having done a speed test i am currently getting 6.08mb/s download and 0.34 mb/s upload according to speedtest web site with a ping of 41ms. My exchange is only 0.4 of a mile from my house and according to kitz.co.uk using there maximum adsl speed calculator with my downstream attenuation of 20db stats that i should get dslmax of 8128 kbps, adsl2+ 20256kbps and states my line length to be approx 1.4km. What i do not understand is BE broadband say that i could get approx 16mb from my line. So is BT throttling my connection ? Over subscribed ?

Are you seriously? Only 20 mb?? And you are getting 6 mb from them??? In my country there is no such thing as 20 mb broadband... Minimum 100 mb! And it is very cheap! In UK you must pay about 30 pounds/month for 18 months and you will get this **bleep** and in my country you would pay only about 10 pound/month with no contracts and you will get from 100 mb download speed!
No, really... It is UK! It is very developed country, but broadband... Even Africa has that kind of broadband... I really dissapointed about that I will never understand why it is so hard to you to make better broadband. Offer to some companies in my country to do that job! They will do that with pleasure! And after a half an year you will see a huge changes.

Select song, hit play button for music and only get spinning circle

Apple TV does not respond to play music. All my music shows on the screen, but when I hit button to play all I get is the spinning circle. Gave it several minutes to see if it just needed time to load but nothing. Internet connection must be ok because I can play a Netflix selection.

It sounds like you are trying to play your iTunes purchases on your Apple TV but it never plays. I would start by restarting your device in this manner:
Apple TV: How to restart your Apple TV
Restart your Apple TV by selecting Settings > General > Restart.
If that does not fix the issue, I would sign out of your Apple ID in Settings on your device, then restart one more time and sign back in.

Once windows installed in partitioned disc and run the installer for support software only get BSOD when restart. Help!

I've tried reintstalling about 3 times, changing order of operations, still get blue screen.
When I install windows and follow all directions it works fine. Once I install the apple provided support drivers and the computer restarts it manages to stay on for about 15 seconds before blue screening.

I have a brand new windows 7 installation disc, i have tried both 32 bit and 64.
boot camp that is in my OSX is 3.0.4 (322), but it does download the support software for windows which i save in a separete usb stick.
and I am doing the partition on a relatively new hard drive 500 gigs thats been partitioned.
Any Ideas?

Have an Apple software RAID on other drives - AppleHFS and AppleMNT to mount and read HFS volumes - is buggy
you didn't burn the DVD from ISO etc right?
Safe Boot and rename AppleHFS.sys and MNT to .sys.old
Install MacDrive instead to access HFS
Who what or how did you partition the drive? normally I would just use Windows 7 DVD and not use BCA or share the drive with OS X.

Exporting, I only get 1.minute of video, but full lenght audio!!

I have about a 3:20 video of a Family event, that, when I export it to either iPod or QT full I get only 1:00 video and full [3:20] audio. I've tried this several ways, and if I export web, QT [ streaming] the video is great.. but I want it on my iPod... any tips??

How to make ads/banners published for an Adserver (only an HTML file with all js files and images linked)

I'm hoping someone can solve this.
I have made some ads in Edge Animate CC and need to put them on an Adserver....
but the adserver company only accept the HTML code... only extra files or images.
This means linking the images and the .js files to URLs. I have done it with the images but are hitting a wall with the _edge.js
I added the script in the HTML to load the _edge.js. (<script src="http://www.christianlaursen.net/ADS/WL_AD_160x600_edge.js"></script>)
But I get certain errors in the console which I believe relates to how Edge tries to load _edge.js locally (even if i load it separately)

I have verified that an Edge published banner can be booked into DFP (Doubleclick for Publishers) as a third party tag by creating an iFrame of the link to your edge published HTML file. You save that file as a *.txt.There is still the issue of click URL macros, and cachebusters. For DFP the click URL macro is %%CLICK_URL_ESC%%
So you would probably use in Edge

then for the cachebuster, DFP's is random=%%CACHEBUSTER%%

IMO it is worth pursuing using Google Analytics for the reporting, as you can put your Google Analytics code in your Edge published HTML file.Hopefully someine with GA experience will chime in.
