Force closure Of PO

PO qty 100, GR qty is 70. Remaining 30 qty I dont want. So I am force closing
1st GR Qty =70
2nd GR Qty= 0. Delivery completed Indicator: Set
But while I am going to do the GR for the 3rd time its again showing remaining 30 qty. It shoud not show.
Please help me out.

Delivery completed indicator will stop you to do goods receipt for Open quantity.
There are Two Option:
1.Change the quantity of line item 10 to GR quantity i.e.70 .i.e. short close it.
2.Put the Lock /Bloc the line item 10.
In both the optuion system will not show open quantity 30 for GR.

Hello Chanti,
Disabling the force closure button is not possible by creating a security role as security restrictions work on organizational elements like co codes, plant, s loc etc.
Could you please let me know if the requirement is for all users or few users.
Also you may want to try the transaction variant/ Screen variant option. The force button is available in program SAPLQEEM and Function ABFO which you need to tick the inactive button during recording. Take help from ABAP if required.

HELP!!! force closure of apps and games... even appstore.

i have been experiencing force/ unwanted closing of apps and games ever since i upgraded my iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 6.0.1...
i never had any problem when i was on iOS 5.1.1...

I have had to restart my Windows XP computer every day for past week and force closure of NetscapeDispatchWnd.

The crash of Mozilla Firefox occurs after I have accessed one or two Job Boards, such as TheLadders.co.uk and then it states "You must close Firefox before you can open it or re-start your system." The latter is the only real option. I have just had NINE automatic Windows XP Security Updates and I'm hoping those wil fix the problem.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Did you try a clean reinstall and made sure to delete the Firefox program folder?

Firefox will not open a file requiring javascript, then hangs; forced close is the only solution

Firefox 3.6.6 opens OK. Browsing OK, until I try to open a file that requires Java. The file will not open & Firefox immediately hangs. The only way out is a forced closure. Often getting a "This is embarrassing message" at the Firefox start-up. 2 choices are given - start new session or start up with previous tabs.

Closing the browser windows created by web.show_document and javascript

From Forms I am issuing a http request using web.show_document and javascript:window.open(). The http request makes a remote procedure call to a coldfusion component on a JRun appserver. I want this rpc to fire in the background so that the current forms browser window remains as is.
The logic is as follows

Any idea how I can force closure of the window opened by the window.open() ?

A work around is The only solution that is to create a close.html file and calling this file in the code: Web.show_document('http://server:port/close.html','_self');

Close vi reference doesnt close the VI?!

I'm running an application that has several dynamically loaded listening threads. When running in interpreted mode while developing, I noticed the threads are not closing when I stop the main VI. To try to combat this, I made an event case:
This didn't appear to help either. That is when I read in the help menu on 'close reference' the following:
"When you create a refnum to a VI, LabVIEW loads the VI into memory. The VI stays in memory until you close the refnum and until the VI meets the following conditions:
There are no other open references to the referenced VI.
The front panel of the VI is not open.
The VI is not a subVI of another VI in memory.
The VI is not a member of an open project library."
So the last part is my problem since the VI is still a member of the open library in interpreted mode. Is there any way to force closure of these threads without having to restart the project?

Actually no, it wouldn't. The abort is a hard close that shuts everything down immediately and won't allow you to do any cleanup. For any application I disttibute I hide the Run, and Abort buttons completely. Looking for the Application CLose, Panel Close and your own Exit/Stop is the proper way to close an application so you can do all of your necessary cleanup.

When opening a new tab in Safari, the spinning wheels appears

Please help, I have very basic skills on a computer, so please make this simple and easy!!
When I open a new tab in Safari, it freezes and the spinning wheel appears. It stays on there for a long period of time and does not disappear. In order to get on I need to Force closure in Safari and restart the computer. Sometimes this will solve the problems and sometimes it needs to be restarted a few times.
This is really annoying and stops me using my mac.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

The message java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer is caused by network problem or even forced closure of IE browser.
This should not affect functionality and is harmless.
If the page process is too long, the user closed the browser or the user reloaded the page, this error could happen. Reloading a page or closing the browser is very common, and so we should not log this message.
BEA has a known issue CR219602 where we catch the SocketException and ignore the logging in the doEndTag() method.
If this error message is annonying please contact BEA Support to get a patch.

TS4337 My ical on my laptop is displaying infinite repeat of events,

When i open up my ical program it seems to get stuck in an 'ical-updating' loop. Each event appears to be repeating infinitely and i have to 'force closure' It is not synced with iCloud, however the data from my calendar on my exchange account i have set up to sync with my iphone and ipad and it is fine. When it was set up originally set up on my macbook pro it looked fine. I think this started occuring when i shut down and restarted my laptop. Not sure what is happening. Any ideas?

Your Google calendar is not stored locally on your devices (other than a temporary cached view for use while your device is offline); it's stored on Google's server (just as iCloud calendars are stored on iCloud's servers). Neither can sycn data from the other service's server. If you want to use iCloud to sync your calendars, you have to import it to iCloud's server as shown in the linked video. Or, just continue to use Google instead. (They are similar services.)

PS Touch Android does not release memory when closed.

Sorry for the lack of information - I had typed more complete description, but had trouble posting it.
The app is installed on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone that is running Jellybean 4.1.1.
The only way I can see to exit the application is by using the "back" soft key under the screen on the right. Some apps have an "exit" choice under the "menu" soft key, but that key is not active with PSTouch.
I see the same issue with Google Chrome. The menu key is active with this app, but it does not have an "exit" choice.
With both these apps, I have to go to the "Active Apps" tab of the Task Manager to release memory.
There is one difference with PS Touch. Google Chrome always starts the same way whether or not I release it's memory. With PS Touch, if I release memory after closing with the back key, the next time I start it I get an initial royal blue screen with the PS Touch icon in the middle followed by a second screen with a menu in the middle titled "New Project From". If I exit at that point, it takes two presses of the back key to first close the menu and then exit the program and return to a home screen. If I do not release memory, the next time I start PS Touch, it goes directly to the second screen, but without the "New Project From" menu.
I hope this gives you the information you need.

What OS? Have you tried a repair? The current version is 8.3.1 and so there may be an update that would resolve your problem.

Web Dynpro ABAP timeout

I had developed a custom timeout warning for BSP that I had been considering adapting to WDA. Here is what I was thinking (see if it helps you out).
I was think about building it as a separate component that could be included in another component via a UI Element Container. The component wouldn't have any visible UI elements - just a timer control and logic.
On each request/response (probably in the WDDOMODIFYVIEW event handler) we will have recalculate the timeout for the timer becasue it has just been refresh.
Here is the logic from BSP to determine the timeout that I was going to adjust. I think it would just need the call for the ICF timeout:

Now when the timer actually triggers in the WDA, it will trigger a server event and reset the actual timeout. In BSP this isn't a problem, because we do the dialog all via JavaScript and avoid a server refresh. In WDA even though the backend timeout has been reset, we would just continue processing as though it hasn't been. I would produce a popup warning the user that they are about to timeout. This popup will have a timer that if it doesn't receive an answer after 1 minute (configurable) it will force closure (exit navigation). The user can choose to renew their timeout (actually it was already renewed by the popup server roundtrip - but they won't know that). This will actually just close the popup dialog.

Aperture may need "rebuilding" but is stuck in "repair" mode

I'm trying to open an aperture library that is stored on an external hard drive. Initially, I got a message saying something to the effect that repeated forced closures could indicate the library needs repairing, and then I was given three options for addressing the issue. I forget what the first option was, but the second (and default) option was to repair the library, with the third option being to rebuild the library (the suggestion being to choose this if the first two options didn't work). So I selected the default option to repair the library. After an minute or so, another message popped up saying that the library would need "rebuilding". However, there is now a progress bar on the screen which says "repair library: examining library", except that no progress has yet been indicated. However, it doesn't seem possible to quit Aperture, as the "Quit" option is greyed out.
I don't know if I just need to be patient and wait, or to force close Aperture, and then re-open and select "rebuild" when the options appear again.

How large is your library? For a very large library the rebuild can take a full day, and the progress bar is not very reliable. Let it run!
How much free disk space do you have? Rebuilding needs plenty of additional disk space. It might help to free your drive a bit, if you see that the available disk space is getting low.

SDN PI Forum in "Santa" mode for next 5 days

In spite of being a bit late about it, I would still try to spend some time with the neglected threads on
PI forums and close them before the commencement of the New Year. The work could be questionable but
I would try to be as fair as possible.
Once I saw my colleague (working in Enterprise Portal) post a query on SDN....he wrote the query and clicked Post Message....he was not allowed to do so....warning message was displayed you have more than 10 open threads
Now instead of the moderators initiating a force-closure of the threads, cant we implement a similar logic for Process Integration Forum? This may ensure that the thread-owner closes it giving a proper solution.

Just to clarify, this logic is already in place for all the Forums since some time and it has served its purpose to some extent. Even then you might have already noticed lot of ignored threads. It's not always that a solution seeker log on to SDN just for assigning the points and closing the threads.
If you have noticed, the aim of this thread doesn't really target all those who have their questions open, rather those who have contributed genuinely but couldn't get into the Active Contributors list because of few lazy/extremely busy posters.
