Force Quit / Quit Screen clash now it's frozen on the quit screen.

I held down the frozen safari icon and the quit screen took a while to open, so I keyed up the force quit dialogue. I quit safari. But the moment I quit it the original quit screen grayed up and now it's frozen on a quit screen to an app that's not open. I can't do anything to shake it and I don't want to force shutdown since I'm in the middle of a Photoshop work project. Any ideas or advice?

If there was a way to maybe open an application on the dock with a shortcut key maybe that could shake it out of the quit screen?

I updated my apple TV and now it is frozen with the itunes icon and a picture of the apple TV. ??

How do I fix my apple TV? Since I did the latest update, it has been frozen on a screen which shows the itunes icon and an apple TV with a cord going from one to the other. I have tried unplugging it and plugging back in. I have also tried plugging it into my computer and updating it through itunes and nothing has worked.

It is in recovery mode, it must be connected to a computer and restored via iTunes.

Try a hard reset. Press the power button on top of the phone and the home button simultaneously. Hold them both for about a minute and hopefully the screen will cut off and then the apple will reappear and proceed to the setup screen.

Restore the phone in iTunes, first using a backup, and if needed as a new phone (without using a backup). If restoring as new doesn't help, there is a hardware failure or the phone was previously hacked (jailbroken, downgraded, unauthorized unlocking).

As stated Restore is your only choice. You can Reset or Hard Reset the iPhone, reboot your computer and Restore again.
If it does not get revived, there is a good chance that the iPhone was not only jailbroken but was bad as well when you bought it.

How do i fix my home button it has completely stopped working after i dropped it and now its frozen on the apple screen?

so yesterday i dropped my iphone and the home key stopped working. i had to turn the phone completely off to change screens and get back to the home page. today i turned it off to get back to the home screen and now it is frozen on the apple screen. its been like this for about an hour or so. i plugged it into the computer and it still hasnt done anything. i try to reset it but of course since the home button isnt working it wont allow me to do so.
does anyone know what to do besides taking it to apple?

You can try the steps recommended in the User Guide. If they don't work bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.
