Forced Closed Error Messages on Adroid Charge

I keep getting "Google services framework process com. google.process.gapps error messages. Can anyone help me out? It is very frustrating and my phone seems slow.

I'm sure this can be very frustrating! I would like to assist with eliminating these "Force Close" errors.
This usually happens when one or more of your installed applications have malfunctioned and need to be reset. You can reset the application by following the instructions posted in this link. You would need to repeat these steps with any app that gets the error message.
Please let me know how this works out for you.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). Change "The form has been closed" error message

My client is not happy with famous "The form has been closed" error message. I have been asked to replace this with meaningful message along with some other messages. How can i do that ?
Searched internet but noting much there about this at all, I am not sure if anybody have done that in past ? is it doable ?

Solution is easy,
Edit \12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\INC\intlcorestrings.js file
Search for "IntlCoreStrings.k_strErrorFormClosed" and replace corresponding message with your desired one.
Save & close
But there is a down side of it, once you change the message it gets changed for all the web application running on the same server, because this file is located in 12 hive and shared across all Apps.

Unwanted helptekst when closing error-message.

Hi Headstarters,
In the Headstart Demo application and all applications generated by Des6 and HSD incl patch 12.1, after provoking an error message (for example by entering a non-existent user in the Project Business Rules form), when the error message is closed by using the window close button (the x) the help-message is displayed! The expected behaviour would be closing the error message!
Can somebody help me with this issue?

After much investigation and experimentation, I found that this is a forms bug that was introduced in Forms 5.x and continues into Forms 6.0.x and 6i. When the user presses the 'X' to close the window, the SHOW_ALERT function returns the value of ALERT_BUTTON3. Headstart has used ALERT_BUTTON3 as the Help button. I have file this as Forms bug #1417991. The only 'workarounds' available are to tell the users not to close the alert this way or to stop using alert button 3. Since we need button 3 for help, we are really stuck.

Error message car USB charger

Does anyone know how to get your phone to charge on the USB charger in the car when it gives the error message "this cable is not certified and may not work reliably" or do I need to exchange the charger for something else?

If the charger uses the firewire pins (even though it uses a USB cable) to charge in the car it won't charge the iPhone 3G.
The iPhone 3G supports charging and syncing over USB only, the original iPhone supported charging over firewire in addition.

Output tray closed error message

I keep getting the error message that my output try is closed when it is open. I saw another post about this that said maybe the little sensor arm is broken and that does not appear to be the case with mine. What else can I check??? Cathy

Maverick: different usb cables to ipad2 prompt error message - won't charge

very same cables worked before update to maverick.

Dunno if this will help you. I tried plugging in my ipad to the same cable that has been in the same usb port for ages and it would not charge. I tried tons of updates and nothing worked. While reading these messages I thought to try a different usb port (same computer) and it worked (at least it says it is). I have a early 2008 imac. Went from far right port (if facing the back) to middle (there are three.) I did turn off find my ipad, but I don't think that mattered and plan to turn it back on. Good luck. (All this to read a book I paid for on my computer!)

Closing error message when external program is called?

I am developing a test for a c++ program i have made.
My test program will be called a few thousand times with different input files.
As I know it will crash in several cases I want to automatically close the error dialog.
The error dialog is an application error dialog telling some debug info and says
- Click OK to terminate
- Click Cancel to debug
For my test program developing I have created a c++ program that always crashes if it gets any input parameters.
I have made a very simple JAVA program to call my c++ program.

I also tried rt.exit(1) and then jawaw.exe is terminated but test.exe lives on under explorer.exe instead of javaw.exe.
So if I first run proc.destroy() and then rt.exit(1) both javaw.exe and test.exe is terminated but the error dialog lives on.
Any suggestions, are this a lost cause?

I have also seen this once on my Windows machine but it disapeard without any efforts from my side.... I guess, it was due to bad state of my macine.

Force Closing when trying to edit contacts

Lately after receiving my new replacement droid with the Froyo already installed; every time i try to edit a contact i get force closed error messages? Is anyone else receiving this message?

You would want to first make sure that you have the most updated software on the phone.
From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch About Phone
Touch System Updates
Then try doing a soft reset on the device by removing and replacing the battery.
Press the Power key.
Touch Power off.
Touch OK.
Press the Power key to power on the device.
Then dial *228 send and option 1 on the device.
If the problem persist, log in to your Gmail account and remove the contact, then re- enter it manually in the phone.

Try pulling the battery for 10 minutes and putting it back in. Try pressing and holding the power button for a while 15-30 seconds to see if it will respond. Did anything happen to it, drop, submersion, etc. Was it functioning before you charged, When did it last work. Are you sure it charged up and the charger is working.

Palm Pre crazy symptoms: "phone offline", will not charge battery, will not start, error message "an error has occured that cannot be resolved"

This is a long description of a series of problems with my new Palm Pre. You may wish to search the text to find your specific issue(s). There is no solution in my post. Look for possible answers in the responses to come.
I bought my Palm Pre 4 days ago and it arrived 2 days ago. Phone worked great. Last night I plugged in the phone and updated the OS. After completion, I selected "Done" and went to bed.
- First Series of Issues: "Phone Offline", will not charge battery -
In upper lefthand corner of the phone there is the message "phone offline". Although the phone has been charging all night it reads "26% battery". I called the general Sprint tech support number and we tried the following things:
1) Restart phone (press and hold power button, then select "turn off". after power down, press and hold power button to power on.)
2) Reset the phone (several different ways - call tech support so that you do this correctly)
The individual at Sprint then sent me to another tech support person, presumably 2nd tier.
- Second Series of Issues: Error message "an error has occured that cannot be resolved" -
Sprint tech support person #2 also had me restart and reset the phone in a number of ways. In her words "we've tried every palm pre trick I know" and each time the phone was unresponsive. Often we received the error message "phone is offline". We did a full erase and after that the phone would no longer restart. At this point the error message came up saying "an error has occured that cannot be resolved" which referred me to www.palm.com for assistance. I think it's important to note here that this was not the typical error message (black screen with white letters) but rather the blue sky background with a semitransparent box over it with white text.
Sprint tech support person #2 then connected me with Palm support and the dance continued. Again we tried a whole bunch of resetting and restarting and erasing options. Palm support instructed me to go to: www.palm.com/rom to download WebOS Doctor, which I did. I downloaded the file. While that was happening he had me hold the "volume up" button and plug the phone into the charger. This caused a USB symbol to appear on the phone. When the file was complete I received an error message that the file couldn't run. Palm tech support person seemed surprised. I mentioned that I was on a Mac and he said he couldn't help me. He then transferred me to another Palm support person who works with Mac users.
Palms tech support person #2 then informed me that I should have selected the "mac" download option on www.palm.com/rom. I verbally walked her through the whole series of webpages, telling her that it says that you need Windows (version whatever) or Mac (version whatever) but that at no time was there an option to download a different WebOS Doctor for different operating systems. After some more discussion she told me she would have to have someone call me back tomorrow.
- Third Series of Issues: phone stuck on USB symbol -
So at the moment the phone is completely useless. Not fantastic. I booted up the mac in Windows 7 and downloaded WebOS Doc and received the same error. I also ran Windows Vista virtually and received the same error. Later this afternoon I'm heading into work to try the same thing on Windows XP.
In the meantime, I got onto this forum and located a thread that provided a direct link to the necessary file:

After downloading that file, which I realized could totally be a virus, I was able to get WebOS Doc working on my computer. It required that I recharge the phone completely before beginning and now it's on the screen that says "Don't disconnect your phone" and the file is at 3% complete. Only... it's been at 3% complete for almost 30 minutes.
I am hoping that Palm will follow up with me tomorrow, but I'm leaving at 7am on a business trip and would love to have the thing working. Any suggestions are welcome, even if you can just tell me how to get the think disconnected safely before my flight tomorrow. I don't fancy getting through security with my phone wired to my laptop.

Hello and welcome to the forums;
Our phone support is open every day Monday through Sunday, although there are different hours of operation for the weekend. If after a webOS Doctor reset you are still experiencing the same problems, I would likely recommend replacement, either in a local store for your carrier or through our technical support department.
There may be additional technical support offered or suggested over the phone, this would need to be done first before a replacement could be issued.
