Forced closing open Approved POs with data related issues

Hello All,
I have a requirement to force "Final Close" all the old Pos (2 - 3 year old) as part of data clean up. Most of the POs can't be closed through froms as they are all 3-way match POs and their recieved/delivered qty <> invoice qty.
I 'm wondering does Oracle provide any data clean up scripts for the forced closed POs ? If not if we update the back end tables (oracle does not advise) are there any implications for the new transactions ?

I'm having this exact same problem, except I don't use GMail Notifier. The being unable to log out, shut down, or restart issue I've had intermittently in the past; the broken screensaver is new.

Issue with date-related sorting fields in iTunes 8

This really is just a small glitch, but it's got me wondering. For all of my files in iTunes - songs, podcasts, etc., all of the sorting fields that deal with dates (Date added, last played, etc.) give the correct day and year, but give the month as January. For example, any song that I add today would return a date of 1/14/08 instead of 12/14/08. The dates included in the ID3 tags for these files are also messed up in the same way.
Obviously, this doesn't affect my day-to-day use of iTunes; just thought it was an odd little bug.

Perhaps it would pay to check your date/regional settings (sorry I rarely play with Macs so I'm not certain of the settings layout) to make sure the short date format makes sense, i.e. reads MM/DD/YYYY or something similar.

am FAcing the frequent Data loss in Mobile...!!
Time beign i can over come it by turing off the cellular connetion to on and off mode where it resetting the data connection...!!!

Since you haven't bothered to describe what this mysterious "data connection issue" is, we have no way to confirm or deny your statement that the problem is widespread.
The fact remains, you're using it on an unsupported carrier.
If you'd like to try and describe WHAT THE PROBLEM IS instead of getting defensive about it, we might be able to help. Otherwise, your initial question has been answered. No one here can tell you when the next update to iOS will be released.

Can't Open Project Recovered With Data Rescue

Hi All,
Stupid me, I trashed a project file and emptied the Trash. I had forgotten that a FCP sequence was referencing the DV files contained in that project package. I had no backup of the DV files (please, no preaching - I learned my lesson).
I was able to recover the project file with ProSoft's Data Rescue, but here's the rub:
The original project was created with an earlier version of iMovie, and was reconverted later with iMovie 6 HD in the same folder. Data Rescue does not seem to recognize that it is a package type of file, thus option-clicking does not list Open Package Contents as an option. Double clicking the recovered project file results in iMovie 6 HD trying to convert the file from the older format, but since the package contents don't seem to be available, or arranged correctly, errors occur.
iMovie 6 seems to know the names of the clips, but can't import them from the older format. I am certain the clips are there (there's only 2), given the project size is 17 GB, which looks about right. Thus I feel certain the clips are in there somewhere.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the iMovie version that was used in the initial creation of the project. not that that would help anyway. Is there some way to recover the clips?

Nevermind, the Thorough Search option in Data Rescue found the files I thought were gone for good .

Help with date related pop up in numbers

I all,
I have a spreadsheet where I Have a column with a start date, then an expiry date in another column created by using "edate" function for 6 months on, I have been trying to create another cell as a pop up to show when 5 months have passed using the today function but although the syntax works it seems to only recognise the days and not months, am I trying this from the wrong direction? I doesn't matter if I work from the start or the expiry date I can get the month to go pop up to work

The formula I have so far is
= If edate (f9), 5>today," ",X. Where f9 is the cell number. This was supposed to show an X if 5 months had passed, I was hoping to change cell colour but from what I can find that's not possible

Not sure how to work it all into one cell, but I was able to get that to work by putting today is a seperate cell (I'll use A1 for this example, so A1 =Today() ) & then changing your formula to =EDate((F9,5)>A1,"","X")

Closing open mail windows with one command

I get tons of email. Often I fail to close each one before opening another. Result? A dozen or more open emails. Is there a simple way to close them all at once?

In many applications, holding the Option key causes the File > Close Window command to change to Close All Windows, but for some reason Mail doesn't do it.
What does work in Mail is holding down the Option key while clicking the red close button at the top left of any window. Problem is... it will actually close all windows...
Just type ⌘1 (Command-1) afterwards to open the Message Viewer window again. This is actually the command shortcut for selecting the Inbox mailbox (Mailbox > Go To > In), but it also opens the Message Viewer window if there are no message windows open -- yes, interestingly enough, ⌘1 doesn't work and beeps at you when the frontmost window is a message window, regardless of whether the Message Viewer window is open or not...
...and, yet more interesting, ⌘1 works again if you open Preferences in front of the message window that caused that command to beep before, but only if the Message Viewer is closed. On the other hand, if the Message Viewer is open, then typing ⌘1 does nothing when Preferences is the frontmost window, it does not even beep, although the menu title does blink as if Mail had actually executed the command (but it hasn't)...
...and don't worry if the last paragraph above just doesn't make sense to you, it can safely be ignored...

Apps force closing, iPod Touch 4G with iOS 5.0.1

Ok so I have an iPod Touch 4G and many apps such as Infinity Blade 2 and Cod: Black Ops Zombies dont work even though they are supposed to be compatible. WHY IS THIS???

Have you tried:
- A reset. Nothing wl be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Downloading/installing a new app
- Restoring the iPod from backup
- Restoring the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod

Open Hub Destination with Application Server Issue

Hi all,
I have requriment that i need to save my monthly data in application server with the help of OPen Hub Destination.I have created an DSO
on that DSO i have created an Open HUb with application server as target.When i store my every month file in application server that file name should be a per the system date.
So i have Created an LOgical File----ztest_data
Assgined Physical path to Logical File-----/usr/sap/<sysid>........
created an Logical File name------Ztest_data_file....
IN the open HUb i have selected Aplication Server as My target and i have checked the box.
I have selected Logical FIle name and given the file name which i have created-----ztest_data_file...
Runned DTP it is showing no errors,but when i check in AL11 ,in the path which i have given(/usr/sap/<sysyid>........,i couldnt find the file.....
Please check this and let me know...

Also is your DTP full or delta. Try running the DTP as Full.

MD61 dates related issue

Dear Experts,
I have one doubt.
In MD61 we enter manually the order quantity against some date. So kindly tell me that the quantity against date which we enter in MD61 are production order dates or order servicing dates. Means if i enter 100 units on 20.08.11 for A product then this A product production should start from 20.08.11 or this A product should be serviced till 20.08.11.
It would be very helpful if you solve this query.

to meet the delivery date after passing this requiremeent we run mrp at it will run and execute the material and planning will take place after MD61 run MRP and Check using MD02...

Primary Key Multiple Column with Date - parameter issue

All,
I am having an issue that I cannot find the answer to. I have looked high and low to no avail. Please help.
The issue at hand is that I have a table that has a multiple column primary key and one of the columns happens to be a date and the other is a string. I have a basic search and I want an update picture in the results table that the users can click on and go to a different page to update that record. The issue is when I fire an action based on the update picture I also want to set parameters based on the record that I selected. So I set the string parameter and that works fine. The issue is with the date. When i set the date parameter it works but it chops off the timestamp. Later when I try to get this parameter 'pageContext.getParameter("dateParameter");' it will bring in a date like 15-Dec-2008 but I need the entire date and timestamp (i.e. 15-Dec-2008 10:20:33) to correctly identify the record.

1.) Set a fire action on update picture,give its event name as "update",
2.) clicking on update picture will fire this event .

Oracle 9i Backup/Restore with Data Guard Issues

I am currently using Oracle 9i Data Guard to have a Primary/Standby model.
The current implementation compares the backup piece id from the backed up image (taken from the Primary) with the backup piece id on the Standby db. If the number are not equal then the restore will fail.
1- Is this the best implementation for restoring on a standby?
2- Would it be better to give a permitted gap range between the backup piece ids between the two databases? and if so what would be an acceptable range?
3- In case the gap range discussed in #2 above is allowed, when the Standby is started as primary and the primary set to be standby, would the Data Guard automatically tries to retrieve all the missing archive/redo log files from the primary db?

I am not sure I am following you here. Are you trying to create a physical standby, by using a backup taken from the primary?
If this is what you're trying to do, you can take any hot backup from the primary and use it to sync the standby with your primary. The older the backup you're using to create the standby, the more archive logs you'll need to get synchronized.
As long as you have all the archive logs needed in the archive_log_dest, data guard will automatically retrieve all the missing logs, and apply them on the standby. Again, only if they are available on the primary.

i have a drop down which shows month and year like Jan07,Feb07,Mar07,Apr07...Dec07. in the backing bean using the item seleted i want to create a date.
for example if May07 is selected i want to get it as 1-may-07 in java.util.Date format.
Help me....

PDF forms open with data in Acrobat 6 but open Blank in Acrobat 9

I have various forms which I have filled with data using Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional. Now When i open them using the same, it shows the data inside the form (like it should).
Unfortunately, there are these new forms released that are not compatible with Acrobat 6 Pro, so now I upgraded and have both Acrobat Professional 6, and Acrobat Professional 9 installed.
When i open the forms with data which I have saved when i used Acrobat 6 Pro, they open all blank in acrobat 9 pro, what shall I do.
I have been looking for this answer for days now. All the data is very important, and I do not want to loose it, these forms are my business please help...

I'm having this exact same problem, so I wanted to bump this back into circulation, since I've yet to find a fix - let alone any information on it - anywhere.
I can't attach a file at this point (confidentiality), but I'll try to create one that I can upload.
In our case, they are Government forms. I know they have security on them, and I know that Acrobat 9's security differs from that of Acrobat 6, so I have to figure something 'broke' in the compatibility.
Basically, we've used Acrobat Standard 4, 5 and 6 for ages. I finally got the go ahead to upgrade everyone to 9 Standard (and a few to 8 Standard). These forms, which were filled out over the past number of years, all show up fine in any Acrobat (Reader, Standard or Pro) from version 7 and below. Opening them in 8 or 9 show the form in it's entirety, but the fields completely blank. If I open it again in a lesser version, the data is once again viewable.
I'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Although I've read the contrary, I can't believe Acrobat would create a product that didn't allow you to open previously created PDFs - even if it takes a patch, or plug-in, or some sort of setting change.
Well, that's my call for help. Hopefully someone has some answers since this thread died a year ago.

Prepopulating PDF Fillable Forms with data from XML files

How can I get a PDF fillable form to open pre-populated with data from an XML file automatically? I've been using Adobe Standard 9.0 and am willing to upgrade in a modest fashion if necessary. I am aware of the Navigation method > Forms > Manage Form Data > Import Data. This works fine, however, my users are not smart enough to do tis much clicking and selecting. Is there an automated way to have this XML data merged into the PDF file on the fly. These files will reside on an internal local area network and will be operated on local PC's that will probably have Acrobat Reader ONLY. I have been told that the only way to accomplish this is through Java Scripting. I would prefer to do this the 'old fashioned' way of command line switches, but that does not appear to be an option. Does anyone have a sample Javascript that would accomplish what I am trying to achieve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest way is:
- Open your PDF form within Acrobat
- From the File menu, import the XML form data into the form
- From the File menu, use Save As... to save the file with a new name.
The new PDF will be identical to the original one, but will have the data embedded in it. Voila.
If you want the same form to pre-populate with different XML files depending on the circumstances, or if you're generating the XML on the fly, then things get more complicated. (And more expensive.) As your consultant said, LiveCycle Forms is one option, but it is expensive (actually even more than 10K). There are other options, including Cold Fusion, custom servlets, etc.
