Hi Siddharth,
For reorganising the forecast values, you can use /SAPAPO/MD74 - transaction code.  Make sure before you use in live system, test in dev system how it works, understand the functionality and then try in live system.

  • Past due PurRqs are getting deleted in APO but not getting deletd in R3

    Hi folks,
    We have a daily job, which runs at 18:00 hrs in the evening everyday in the APO Production System.The job is to delete all past due Purchase Requisitions for last 2 years (job & variant details are mentioned below) All the past due PurRqs are getting deleted from APO, which we have cross-cheked in RRP3 view many times.
    However the same is not getting deleted in R3 systems. The planner/end- user is getting confused & hassled by this list of old PurRqs which is visible in R3 through MD04 t-code.
    Please suggest remedial/corrective actions to get this issue sorted.
    The job details for the deletion of past purchase requisitions.
    The job is run with the following variant details:

    Do you run the CCR on a daily basis. If so do you see the "reqs missing in R/3" in the CCR ?
    Also what is your transfer setting ? Meaning the transfer from APO to R/3 configuration  - is it immediate or change pointer based ? check that also

  • Forecast Consumption in APO- No Data Available in Product View

    Hi Experts
    I facing some problem in Forecast Consumption in APO. The APO system is connected to a R/3 system. So data relevant for Forecast consumption comes from R/3.
    The allocation indicator in the requirement class assigned to the strategy maintained in the product master is set as " no consumption with customer requirement". and the same is transfered to APO.
    I have the changed the settings in APO and here are the setting maintained in APO to enable Forecast Consumption.
    Product Master Setting:
    a) Consumption Mode: 2 ( forward and backward)
    b) Consumption Period: ( 30 days both backward and forward)
    c) Strategy Group : 20 and assignment mode is set to "Assign customer requirement to planning with final assembly" and category group has sales order - BM
    d) The check mode setting in the ATP tab is set to "Assign customer requirement to planning with final assembly"
    I have a forecast for today's date and a sales order transferred from R/3 for the same date. But I do not see any data in the Forecast tab in the product view ( /sapapo/rrp3 Tcode)
    Please let me know if I am missing any setting in APO. Or the SAles order carries the strategy information from R/3 and influencing the consumption any way.

    What is your Forecast & Sales order quantity? If these are same then sales order consumed forecast, so you can not able to see in the rrp3.
      Second thing try to increse the forecast quantity than sales order quantity & then check it.

  • SNP planned order deleted in APO, but not in R/3.

    OK Guru's,
    We have a situation where during the weekend SNP planning runs, SNP Planned orders are deleted in APO, but the order is never deleted in R/3.  The change pointer is not in CPP and there are no failed queues.  Also, when you run CCR on planned orders, we will get an error on some orders saying "Not in APO" and the only option to reconcile that order is to "Send to APO".  The option that should exist is "delete in R/3" becuase the deletion never occured in R/3.
    If you send the order back to APO, the order will show in the "Production Confirmed" line of the Planning Book.  This is because APO is thinking that this order is an order that was created in R/3 when in fact is it really is a SNP planned order.
    Any clues to why this would happen?

    How are you getting the SNP Planned Orders to R/3 in the first place.
    If you are transferring them using /SAPAPO/RRP7 then I guesss its a manual transfer and system does not consider SNP Planned Order deletion flag relevant for transfer to R/3.
    You will need to look into CIF enhancement to send the deletions to R/3.
    Normally SNP Planned Orders are not relevant for transfer to R/3 unless its replaced or converted to a PPDS planned order.

  • CIF integration of characteristics that were deleted at APO

    Hi Experts,
    we had some characteristics in APO that were transfered from the ECC. But since it was no longer used they were deleted at the APO system. But now we need to use againd some of these characteristics, and when we try to integrate this characteristic they stopped at the APO inbond queue whith the message "master data missing for characteristic &&".
    I checked the table TCL_ATINN_IDENT in APO and the characteristics that were deleted in the past are still there but with an internal number at the field ATINN_NEW.
    Does anyone knows how can we proced with this issue?
    Is there any report to clean this data in the table?

    Ok, I"ll try to explain this issue.
    1 - We had a class (type 300) with some characteristics in ECC that were integrated with APO;
    2 - When this class (type 300 and 400 in APO) and characteristcs were not used anymore in APO, they were deleted (classes and characteristics);
    3 - But today we need to use these characteristic again.
    4 - We have some classes (type 300) that is integrated with APO. These classes has the organizational Area M that is created in ECC and APO;
    5 - Those characteristics that were deleted from APO, is now in attributed at the new classes that are integrated with APO;
    6 - To Integrate those characteristic we put the organizational area M in them at the related classes;
    7 - After that those characterist stop at the APO (inboud Queue SMQ2).
    Let me know if you could replicate the issue

    Sometimes the planning book doesn't show what is saved in livecache. This is especially true when you have some default macros which gets executed when you load data. The default macros will run and therefore the planning book will show the result of the macro computation and not exactly what is saved in livecache. For example, if you have a macro in one planning book which computes the Net Forecast = Stat + Adjustments. Every time this planning book is run Net Forecast gets computed and also gets saved when the user clicks the save button.  Now, imagine what will happen if stat or adjustments gets changed somewhere else (e.g. thru another planning book or thru stat forecasting). When you go the first planning book in display mode, you will see that the data for Net Forecast looks "correct". However, this is not what is saved in livecache.
    I suggest you try to check out your data using a planning book with no macros. You can also check out using RSA3 using the export datasource of your planning area. Both of these methods will show you what data was really saved in livecache.

  • Order category BF not getting deleted in APO

    Hi Experts,
    I have a situation where the material is already deleted in ECC (hence no longer existing), but the product is existing in APO and we need to delete this in APO. To do this, we need to delete the dependent orders for that product/location first and then other dependencies.
    There are few orders for the prod/loc as confirmed purchase orders (ord cat BF). These orders are now PP/DS orders with status as PP firmed, output firmed and date fixed.
    I have tried the two programs- /sapapo/rlcdelete and /sapapo/delete_pp_order, but system is not picking up the orders to delete.
    The system shows as message as " No deletion of converted orders in active version"
    As I said earlier, the product is no longer existing in ECC, hence I can not delete the orders from there.
    Is there any other way to achieve this? Is there any BADI to do this in APO?

    Hi
    You can use /SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER report for deleting these orders.
    Execute the this report, mention all the products for which you want to delete the order and execute it. It might give the message as orders will not get deleted as inactive in APO.
    Go back please enter as DEL_EXECU, in the place where we use to enter the T-codes and enter and than again execute the report. It will delete the orders.
    You can also try /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL report.

  • Completed PO Created in R/3 Need to be deleted in APO

    Hi All,
    We have some cases of R/3 created POs (PP/DS)  which are in complete status in R/3 but they are still visible in product view in APO.
    The delta report doesn't catch these POs since we have exhaustively used userexits and custom programs in CIF.
    We can use /SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER for these POs but the POs dont get deleted from version 000 through this report.
    Pls advise if there is any way to delete these POs apart from the intial CIF transfer of PRPO and apart from using the BAPI: BAPI_POSRVAPS_REMOVEITEMS

    Hi Harish,
    Using a BAPI would basically mean a new development. I was looking for an option where SAP wld  have provided some way to handle this without any new development. Utility DELETE_PP_ORDER  fails in 000 otherwsie it was a good option.
    I will try your suggestion or would go ahead for the new utility development through BAPI_POSRVAPS_REMOVEITEMS.

  • Forecast creation in APO

    do you know whether transaction /SAPAPO/DMP2 can be used to create Forecast in APO - based on dependent demand in an inactive planning version, we would like to create forecast in the active version. When I execute DMP2 the log always says "No planned independent requirements generated". Do you have any experience?

    i do have the experience while working on CBF..
    we have generated PIRs for componets for which dependent demand exists..
    make sure that your components have strategy 10 in MRP3 page tab..
    category in the DMP2 transaction should be AY and AZ.
    try this..
    I am working on the latest verion of SCM...let me know whether you are able to use the same settings..
    i will help you in this regard if the above settings do not crack your problem..

    Could someone please guide me regarding how to delete the PO created by TLB in APO which has not yet got CIFFed to R/3. Is there a BAPI for the same(DeleteMultiple) - or some other alternate way?

                   I am not that experienced in SNP or TLB. Just for my knowledge, can you tell me why you want to delete POs in APO? I think they are in ECC at the same time and doesn't deleting them in APO create any problem? Can you just tell me the business case?

  • Forecast Transfer from APO to R/3

    Hi All,
    We have an issue wherein we wanted to transfer the forecast to R/3 for non-working weeks.
    We are planning in APO in weekly buckets. So, when we transfer the forecast for a week which is completely marked with non-working days at R/3, we want the forecast for that week at APO should get transferred to the rest of the working days of the respective month/period.So we dont lose forecasts for that week which are planned in APO.
    Do we have any settings by which we can force the forecast to push to the other weeks which are are haing work days in a period.
    This is how the system is behaving when we have a non-working day at R/3 in week. If I have 5 day a week and one day of that week is a now working day. So, when I transfer the forecast fromAPO to R/3, all the quantity for that week in APO is getting pushed to remaing 4 days of a week. the same functionalitywe would like to have if complete one week is non-working week, the APO data for that week should get transferred to next three available weeks.
    Hope I was clear. There is a business reason for this. the business/demand planner can plan their material even though the plant is shutdown for a week since they may want the forecast should get consumed by the Sales Order delivery. The Sales Order delivery can consume the existing stocks.

    I am using APO DP V5.1.
    Statistical forecasts show a consistent positive bias.

    There is nothing such an automatic bias correction in APO DP. If you see bias in the forecast, either the forecast model chosen is not the right one (in this case, you should change the model) or there is no right model for your data (in this case, you should forecast manually).
    Example for the first case: data with positive trend, forecasted with a constant model will show consistent bias. The solution in this case is to change to a trend model with good parameters.

  • How to identify records deleted in APO live cache while loading into ODS

    I am doing FULL load of data everday for APO DP from APO live cache into a ODS. Users at time delete some data from DP planning area. This subsequently needs to get deleted from the ODS.
    How can I identify records that were deleted by the user and mark them as deleted in the ODS?
    Note that the extractor only returns records that exist currently in the Live Cache.

       I need your help again to fix the below problem please.
       I have a query on Infoset with two ODS and linked with  BillingDoc which exists in both ODS.
       Sales Doc & Billing Doc Fields are in ODS1 and  Billing Doc & Amount are in ODS2.
      If matching BillingDoc is found in ODS2 then report should have Combined data (Sales Doc, Billing Doc & Amount), otherwise just Sales Doc & Billing Doc from ODS1 only. 
    Tried Inner Join and it gets only matching records. 
    Left Outer join with ODS1 on left side or Right side doesn't get the requested report.
    I found in SDN that with Left Inner join we could get all data from ODS1 and Matching data from ODS2.
    How could I get my requested data, PLEASE ?

    If you are using SCM 5.0, go to Tcode SE38 an run this program: RSPC_LOG_DELETE.
    In the screen you have to specify the date range from which you want to delete the logs.

  • Inconsistent forecast consumption in APO and R/3

    Hi Experts,
    We have a couple of issues with consumption in our system.
    We have a situation where APO is showing us consumption in the /SAPAPO/DMP1 view but no consumption showing in the planning books and the RRP3 requirements screen. Interestingly, when we go and change the sales order in R/3, the consumption then gets triggered in APO. So there seems to be some kind of delay and the consumption seems to be lagging a step behind or somehow a trigger isnt hapenning first time around.
    The other is more a question...
    If you do the F1 help on Fwd consumption in APO and R/3, it tells us that in R/3 consumption is based on workdays as defined by the factory calendar whereas in APO, it talks about consumption considering calendar days and not workdays and that its not possible to define a calendar to make it work with workdays.
    We have fwd consumption set to 2 days and we have noticed that if e.g the order comes on a Friday, consumption gets lost due to the following two days being Saturday and Sunday. Whereas in R/3 it jumps forward and consumes Monday and Tuesday and ignores Satuday and Sunday (We are using 5day calendars). This is causing a big headache and consumption is all over the place.
    any ideas?

    OK, I have found the solution to half the problem. It was a system bug and the last sales order wasnt being consumed and there is already a note out for that.
    Still confused about the workday vs calendar day issue in R/3 and APO. How do we align the two systems and get the consumption happening in APO for 5 days and not 7 days?
